【摘要】本文针对英语学习者“久学不会”的问题，阐述了原声电影在教学中的辅助作用，提出利用看电影学习英语，提高交际能力的建议，并从娱乐、语言、文化三方面说明了电影对英语学习的妙处，介绍了影片的选择方法、学习侧重点和学习过程中的一些窍门，在此基础上提出了教学中应注意的问题及建议。

看电影学英语是时下非常流行的一种学习英语的方法，英语电影在英语教学中是一种非常重要的教学手段和寓教于乐的教学方式。
教师适当地在高中英语教学中穿插电影教学，既可以提高学生的学习兴趣又可以缓解学生们的学习压力还可以开拓学生视野，从而能够快速提高学生的听力和口语水平，最终达到提高学生跨文化交际能力的目的，是一种非常好的教学和学习方法。
一、原声电影教学的理论依据
教育学家公认，良好的语言环境是英语学习的必要因素。
语言教育学家crashen认为：要先让学生有充分的语言材料输入，通过视觉和听觉综合感知这些语言材料。
众所周知，电影融合了人物、声音、音乐、情感气氛和社会文化背景等诸多因素，用画面、声音和光彩直接构成感性形式，作用于观众的视觉和听觉，营造出一种最有利于语言“可得”的环境。
看原声英语影视剧是练习英语听说的最好途径，影视剧通过声音与图像共同组成了完整的信息，将视觉刺激和听觉刺激有效地结合在一起，这是其它学习手段所不能达到

3、扩展原则
首先要在词汇和句式层面上扩展；其次是在此基础上，“泛看”电影，电影题材可以不受很大限制，但每部影片都至少要看三遍以上；
4、挖掘原则
此时不能仅限于看懂表面意思，而是要透过现象看本质，去挖掘语言背后深刻的文化内涵，变被动为主动，以此达到听说的最高境界。
