大家可能知道今年12月24号开始进行四级考试了,而且很多网友对四级词汇表示出非常的担心。
不知道怎么复习,大家从四级词汇大纲里能够看出来,我们四级词汇要求是掌握4500个单词,真正在四级考试当中应该考2500个单词,大家如果想在四级能够顺利通过的话,一定要认真做真题,把真题好好做,尤其从2000年以后到2005年6月份之前的真题大家一定认真做。
我们在做真题的过程当中,我们发现历年真题都有重复现象。
我们在考试的时候,只要重复的考点会反复考。
比如像entitle表示给某人权利或者是义务做某事。
我们从96年出现以来,到2005年6月份,每次出现考试的时候,只要看到这个词,一定要选它,因为它的用法太独特了,比如entitle sb to do sth 它跟双品语搭配,比方我们大家熟悉的,给某人某物give sth to sb,它的用法正好和entitle是相反的。
这样的词是从哪儿来的?就是从历年真题过来的。
四级考试,你得知道考什么。
比方说通过历年真题,我得做到心中有数。
以前是四级大纲要求我们60%是考语法。
40%是考词汇。
但是从2003年年底以后,已经发生了改变。
从2003年12月份一直到2005年1月份,6月份,一直没有考过语法题。
顶多考过连词,所以大家一定不要复习语法,因为我们在四级单选里,很少直接考语法。
还是考四级词汇。
究竟考哪些内容,这是考生比较关心的。
我们根据历年真题给大家进行了总结。
这四级无外乎考三个方面的词汇形式,一个是纯的词汇辨析,这四个单词,无论从外观长相还是意思搭配,都一点儿关系没有。
所以把这四个意思搞清楚,然后把题干和问题的形式搞清楚,直接一做就出来了。
第二种是考同义词和近义词的辨析。
这部分是考生感到比较难的部分。
好多同学不知道该选哪一个?比方我们说看,中文的看是一个看,英文的看是四个看,要说看电视只能用watch,看电影就只能用See,看书看报纸用read,看黑板用look at,不同的看,针对的对象不一样。
遇到这样的题,我们应该怎么办?就是找固定搭配,这些动词应该和哪些词形成固定联系,固定词伙。
只要看到book,你就找read,只要看到电视就找Watch,这个固定词伙,这个动词经常和哪些动词搭配。
第三项主要考的是形近词,老远一看,这个词长得非常相像,但是仔细一看,意思相差很远。
比方说,最爱考的一些形近词,COM开头或者是CON开头,或者是TRANS 开头的。
这样的单词在我们考试当中也会反复出现,遇到这样的单词应该怎么去做,最主要应该从词伙关系去说。
当我们看到COM或者是RE开头的,这些单词哪些是熟悉的,从题干当中能不能找到对应的词伙关系。
我举个简单的例子,我们曾经在真题考过RE开头的单词,release,relate,releaf,retain。
我们看到这个单词的时候,我应该怎么去做,最主要是看题干当中有没有固定的词伙关系。
比方说这里面有一个特别重要的单词是release。
它被考过很多次了,经常有很多搭配,一个是release sth to sb向某人公布些什么,向某人发布些什么。
比如我们要向学生发布一个很好的学习。
再比如relate...to...,基本上是用名词或者是形容词的形式。
基本上常常可以用be related to...这样的搭配,表示把什么跟什么联系在一起。
releaf这个单词主要是减轻困苦、忧虑,这里面搭配的固定词伙关系都跟痛苦、困苦或者是忧虑有关系。
比方说吃了这个药可以减轻你的头疼,可以直接用这个release you headache。
这里和痛苦、困苦、忧虑形成一种固定词伙关系。
再看最后一个词,retain。
在我们四级考试当中出现的频率很高,但是从来没有被选中过,因为这个单词是一个书面用语。
这个单词相当于Keep,保持、保留的意思。
我们考过一个这样的题,在题干当中,你千万不要把这个消息怎么样给观众。
这个地方,只要得到你允许以后,你才能够给他们公布出来,所以遇到这样一个题,大家知道了,考的是什么,大家一定要从固定词伙角度解决这个单词。
有的同学说,只剩下十天了,我应该怎么去准备呢?从2001年1月份到2005年5月份,真题当中出的四个选项当中的所有的题的意思,你都要弄懂,尤其是在大纲范围之内,知道它的基本含义之外,还要知道它的一些生僻的意思。
只要以真题为主,这些部分就能够迎刃而解了。
词汇部分,主要在我们的考试当中大概占了20多道题,因为我们的考生已经对四级词汇很了解了。
四级词汇总共考30道题,总共加在一起是15分。
大家一定要把重点放在词汇这个方面上去做。
第二部分的词汇,还要考一些词组。
词组,也是考以下几个方面的内容。
一个就是考动词词组以及短语。
跟动词有关的词组是我们在四级考试当中爱考的。
比如像COME像Take,像set像turn等等。
从2001年到2005年,选项当中出现了这样的形式,大家一定要去记。
每年我们大概考四到六道题,而且大家在做词组的时候,给大家提一个建议,这道题的词组,不要死记硬背。
你要猜这个词组的时候,一定要从动词本身的意思,以及介副词本身的意思当中猜测一下。
凡是跟off一起搭配进行的词组,也是我们最近爱考的,我一看到Off,我要了解它本身的意思。
我给你加上不同的动词,这个动词必须跟离开有着直接或者是间接的联系。
比方上,Cut Off,切开了,它叫切断。
我们2004年考过这个题,这个村庄因为洪水,被cut off了,所以所有的物品只能通过直升飞机才能运过来。
我再举一个例子,Set也可以和off构成固定搭配,Set是出发启程。
我们四级2003年1月份,曾经出过一个选项是一个干扰项,也是跟off形成搭配的,比如像go off,go叫走,最基本的意思是走开了,还有一个引申的意思,拔出电源或者是切开电源。
还有第二层意思,相当于爆炸。
爆炸就是炸飞了,炸开了,也是跟离开有关系。
从字面的意思,介副词本身的意思,推测这个单词到底怎么去记。
我们在2002年6月份,最后一道题的时候,考过一道题,考的是Pull是大家应该非常熟悉的一个单词。
当你去麦当劳,肯德基的时候,你经常会看到pull这个单词,一进门的时候是push,一出门的时候是pull,它有四个词组形成搭配,一个是pull out 一个是pull UP 第三是through 第四,over。
我们在考试的时候,很多考生并没有把这些动词记住,就考场了。
我们先看这四个介副词本身的意思。
out是出去的意思。
pull out是拉出来或者是拔出来,猜一个单词,你只能猜出这个单词的大致意思。
应该是拔出抽出。
第二层意思是指车辆、船只等等,驶出滑出,车辆也好,船只也好,也是滑出一个地方,驶出一个地方,所以跟OUT 形成一个词伙。
第三是pull Up可以当向上的意思。
第二层,大家知道eat这个单词,如果把它跟Up放在一起,就是吃光的意思。
ues up 是用光了,用完了。
pull up就是使车辆等等停下来。
你想想什么叫使车辆等等停下来,全部把车拉住了,不准走了,你在猜的过程当中可能会有一点点偏差。
我们再看下一个选项,Pull Thorgh,第一层是从头到尾,第二层是病人渡过困难期或者是危险期。
我举个例子,什么叫Pull Thorge,第二把病人从危险期当中拉回来了,这个不影响做题。
我们再接着看最后的选项叫Pull over,最熟悉的是come over,这是指车或者是船闪到一边。
我们看一下题干,我告诉大家在题干里有两个特别重要的单词,一个重要的单词就叫doctor另外一个是patient,医生竭尽全力,终于使这个病人渡过困难期或者是危险期了。
所以当大家一看到这两个单词,马上答案选项应该能够出来。
应该叫pull through。
希望大家在记这部分词的时候,把动词和介副词搁在一起,尽可能把2000年到2005年之间出现的所有的短语形式做一个总体的复习。
我们大纲当中掌握1600多个短语,真正考到的不到100个。
再缩小一点范围,就是2000到2005年之间所有的短语。
比方说,有些短语,意思比较接近,大家在记意思接近这些短语的时候,你一定要尽可能查一查字典,看一看它的短语、动词,一些例句形式,根据例句形式猜测一下相近短语有哪些区别。
我们在2002年的时候考过一个短语,set back和hold up的区别,这两个词语是不一样的,set back是推迟、阻碍的意思。
hold up是证明这个单词应该是指具体的东西阻碍了一个事物的发展。
这是他们之间的一个本质的区别。
我们当时四级考了,这三个短语都考过,曾经在96年考过比较早的一个短语,当时考过pull off和hold up的区别。
如果你要考虑到你的病情,你千万不要推迟看医生了,大家能够推测出来,看病这个事情不能耽误,看病是属于什么概念上的?应该是属于时间概念上的。
这里面你是选Pull Off还是hold up,那一年考的是set back,比方说在原句当中说了there is a big hole in the road在路上有一个大洞,怎么样了这个交通。
我们一看到上下文,一看这个洞把交通往后推延了,肯定是具体的事物阻碍了交通的发展。
我们在2003年12月份,又考了一个短语。
它是整个跟set短语考的。
set aside它可以当留出时间,留出金钱。
它都是属于一个连串反映,当时考的是留出时间。
第二个是set off,第三个考的是set out,如果都当出发、启程来讲,这两个都是可以划等号的,但是有一点,是不可以划等号的。
当着手做某事的时候,只能用set out,不能当set off。
当着手做某事的时候,有的考生可能复习的比较全面,知道还有一个短语叫set about,我们从词汇角度辨别一下,out是一个副词,副词一般加不定时,我们在考试的时候,曾经考到这两个单词的辨析,既然我们都想做这份和约了,我们赶紧着手准备合同吧,这个时候用的是doing,所以应该选择out。
我跟大家说了这么多,这个考试都是一连串的反映,你一看到这个时候,在考试当中打下伏笔。
最后一个选项是set back,当时考的是the continues rain will___the harvesting of the wheat.不断的大雨阻止了小麦的收成两周的时间,遇到了这样的情况,大家一定要从字面意思辨别这个单词大约是怎么回事,这些短语单词能记多少就是多少。
因为毕竟是占了两分到三分。
所以如果这样的话,也是可以的。
大家主要把精力放在我们的词汇上就可以了。
这是关于动词词组部分。
第二项关于词组部分,还要考介词短语。
这个介词短语在考的时候比较有特色。
经常要考一些跟连接词有关的介词。
我们2003年1月和6月,考过一个but for当时连着虚拟语气考的。
我们从2003年12月份开始,基本上不考语法了。
