How to evaluate
• The Apgar score is determined by evaluating the newborn baby on five simple criteria on a scale from zero to two, then summing up the five values thus obtained. The resulting Apgar score ranges from zero to 10.The tests consist of one-minute test, five-minute test and tenminute test , if it’s necessary the assessor can proceed the 15-minute and 30-minute tests.

• Score of 0 : blue or pale all over • Score of 1 : blue at extremities body pink (acrocyanosis) • Score of 2 : no cyanosis body and extremities pink
