Chinese new year

I like the Chinese new year better than any other festival. This is a time especially for rest and joy. I need not study. I wear good clothes and eat good food. I have a good time from morning till night. I am as happy as a king.

A Happy Day

Last Sunday, I visited my grandmother. We listened to music and planted flowers. I counted the flowers. There were ten. Then I helped my grandmother cook lunch. When we finished, I washed the dishes and she cleaned the kitchen. In the evening, I watched TV and played the violin at home, It was fun.

My Cat

I have a cat named Mimi. Its hair is as white as snow. I often play games with it. It amuses me a lot and I treat it as a little friend. Every morning, I would say goodbye to it before I go to school and Mimi would wave its front-leg to me. It brings me a lot of pleasure. But it takes time and costs money to keep the cat. My parents and I spend much time taking care of it, feeding it and cleaning it. We have to clean the house from time to time, or the cat will make them dirty and smelly.

Buying a hat

A lady went to a hat shop to buy a hat. As she was very fussy, it took her a long time to pick on one. Already at the end of his patience the salesman was afraid that she might change her mind again so he tried to flatter her: "An excellent choice, madam. You look at least ten years younger with this hat on!" To his dismay, the lady took off her hat at once and said: "I don't want a hat that makes me look ten years older as soon as I take it off. Show me some more hats!"

My Friend's Birthday

Today is Monday. It is also my friend's birthday. I sent a beautiful gift to him. He is very happy!We played games at his home. We danced,sang and so on. His mother bought a big birthday cake. It is very delicious! I like it very much! This day I'm very happy!

Football

Many people like football. Football is one of the most interesting sports. Young people and old people both like it very much. It is very exciting. Boys like to play football and girls like to watch football matches. I like to watch football matches very much. I often watch football matches on TV every Sunday.

My family

My name is Wei Fang. There are four people in my family. They are my father, my mother, my twin sister and I. Look! This is a picture of my family. The man in the blue coat is my father. He is a worker. The woman in the red dress is my mother. She is a worker, too. My sister is in a yellow sweater and I am in an orange coat. My sister and I are students. We are twelve. We are in the same class.

My favourite season

There are 4 seasons in a year. Of all seasons I like summer best. Summer is the second season in a year. It's a hot season. We can swim, eat ice cream and we can wear shorts and skirts in summer. I usually with my family go sightseeing in summer holiday. The weather gets hoter. Summer is from June to August. And summer is the longest holiday. So I like summer best. Do you like summer to?
