Unit 11 Meeting new friends Teaching aims and demands:

★通过复习和学习使学生能用英语打招呼、问好

★学习、熟悉并掌握英语中常见的男女孩名字

★能用英语提问和回答一些简单的问题

The main and difficult points:

★Glad to meet you.

★Who is he? He is Bill.

★Who is she? She is May.

★Key words:

※Bill Tom Nick Sam Pat Sue Kim May.

Teaching materials:

五个动物的图片、男女孩子的图片、镜子以及颠倒过来的英语名字卡

Teaching process:

Activity one (Warm up an review)

Greetings(老师可以用运多个打招呼的句子) and sing the song of Unit 10. Activity two(Lead in )

刚刚老师用了不同的几句英语来跟大家打招呼,Who can repeat? And can you say more greeting sentences? Let students try to say more.(老师可适当进行引导)

eg: Hi/Hello. Good morning/afternoon/evening/night..How are you?新知堂课件Part4.可结合练习册的Part2及新课标中的Part 2.

Activity three (Topic)

1st:.如果我们今天遇到了一些新朋友,该怎样跟他们打招呼?eg: How do you do? Nice to meet you . 我们还可以说“Glad to meet you .”(输入)今天

老师带来了许多New friends但是他们给咱们小朋友们出了些难题。他们的

名字都是倒过来的的,需要小朋友们用镜子帮他们把名字改出来并用英语来跟他们打招呼。这样,她们就会是我们的好朋友了。

Method: Put these names cards on the whiteboard, then teacher asks some questions that they learned before , eg: Aa is for……?Who can answer it quickly and correctly , can come to the front ,use the mirror to find the name .And, then write the correct name under the name card and read it . 下面的同学谁能用英语来跟这个新朋友打招呼,就可以上前用镜子找第二个New friends. After finish it, students read these names after teacher, and then, listen to the chant try to follow it.(在写出正确的名字的时候,老师可以用“Oh, this is……”来进行练习,然后让其他孩子将答案写到书上Part 3。)

2nd: Not only foreign friends, but also a Chinese friend and our old friends come into our classroom..

Method:老师拿出Li Ping Monkey Monchy Panda Pandy Dog Doffy Cat Catty 的图片。(事先不让其他孩子看到这些图片)然后找五个同学拿着这些图片到门外,依次进入教室。其他学生快速说出“This is ……”谁说的又快又好,可以加分。

3rd:.在学生说出“This is ……”时,老师根据人物图片的性别有意的说出“Yes, she/he is……”(多次输入)并出现自制课件第三页(He is /She is ……)。男女图片分别位于He is和She is句型的下面。然后让孩子们找出he/she

的区别。操作方法:点击自制课件二的He is∕She is,→出现此课件→学完之后点击右下角的箭头→可返回课件第二页。

4th:You really did a good job. So some new friends come out to meet us。Who are they ?(让孩子来猜Who的意思)。出现自制课件第四页(Who

is he? Who is she?)

操作方法:返回自制课件第二页→点击Who is he/she?→出现此课件→点击人物图片→出现声音→点击右下角的按钮→返回课件第二页。

练习方法:※老师将鼠标放在一个人物图片上,并问“Who is he/she?”Call a number ,these 2 students quickly answer “He/She is……”

※在输入“Who is he/she?”之后,学生已经大体掌握。可让学生起来问答。

Then teacher calls a number, these two students quickly stand up and say “friends” Who is quick, can come to the front and use a mouse to point a picture ,and ask “Who is he /she?” Who is slow, should answer “He is /She is ……” .

Activity four.(Practice)

1st:Listen and chat Part 2

操作方法:新知堂课件Part 2

2nd:Do pair work of Part 6

Find some pupils come to the front have a role play.

3rd:.Part 7 .这一部分老师可事先将答案制成课件,然后让学生对找答案全出相应的字母。(自制课件五Part7)

操作方法:返回自制课件二→点击Part7→出现此课件→点击右下角的按钮→返回课件二。

Activity five(workbook)

(自制课件六)操作方法:返回自制课件二→点击workbook→出现此课件→依次点击Part1,part 3,Part5→放听力录音→点击右下角的按钮→返回课件二。
