Right before I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channels we had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what to watch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting" programme... If wecould agree what that was. However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV, there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options reveals an important change in our life: the abundance of choice.Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one colour. Today, we select from a wide variety of designs and shades.Fifteen years ago, we read few newspapers. Today, we read English newspapers like the China Daily and the 21st Century, as well as various Chinese newspapers.Fifteen years ago, English majors took only courses in language and literature. Today, we also study Western culture, journalism, business communications, international relations, and computer science. The emergence of choices marks the beginning of a new era in China's history; an era of diversity, of material and cultural richness, and an era of the rebirth of the Chinese nation. We enjoy the abundance of choice. But this has not come easily.About 150 years ago, China was forced to open up its door by Western canons and gunboats. It has been through the struggle and sacrifice of generations that we finally have gained the opportunity to choose for ourselves. The policy of reform and openness is the choice that has made all the difference.Like others of my age, I'm too young to have experienced the time when the Chinese people had no right to choose. However, as the next century draws near, it is time to ask: What does choice really mean to us young people? Is choice a game that relies on chance or luck? Is choice an empty promise that never materializes? Or is choice a puzzle so difficult that we have to avoid it?First, I would like to say: To choose means to claim opportunities.I am a third-year English major. An important choice for me, of course, is what to do upon graduation. I can go to graduate school, at home or abroad. I can go to work as a teacher, a translator, a journalist, an editor and a diplomat. Actually, the system of mutual selection has allowed me to approach almost every career opportunity in China.Indeed, this is not going to be an easy choice. I would love to work in such big cities as Beijing or Shanghai or Shenzhen. I would also love to return to my hometown, which is intimate, though slightly lagging in development. I would love to stay in the coastal area where life is exciting and fast-paced. I would also love to put down roots in central and western China, which is underdeveloped, but holds great potential. All of these sound good. But they are only possibilities. To those of us who are bewildered at the abundance of opportunities, I would like to say: To choose means to accept challenge. To us young people, challenge often emerges in the form of competition. In the next century, competition will not only come from other college graduates, but also from people of all ages and of all origins. With increasing international exchanges, we have to face growing competition from the whole outside world. This is calling for a higher level of our personal development.Fifteen years ago, the knowledge of a foreign language or of computer operation was considered merely an advantage. But today, with wider educational opportunities, this same knowledge has become essential to everyone.Given this situation, even our smallest choices will require great wisdom and personal determination. As we gain more initiative in choice making, the consequence of each choice also becomes more important. As we gain more initiative in choice making, the consequence of each choice also becomes more important.Nuclear power, for instance, may improve our quality of life. But it can also be used to damage the lives and possessions of millions.Economic development has enriched our lives but brought with it serious harm to our air, water and health. To those of us who are blind to the consequences of their choices, I would like to say, To choose means to take responsibility. When we are making choices for ourselves, we cannot casually say: "It's just my own business. " As policy makers of the next century, we cannot fail to see our responsibility to those who share the earth with us.The traditional Chinese culture teaches us to study hard and work hard so as to honor our family. To me, however, this family is not just the five of us who quarreled over television programmes. Rather, it is the whole of the human family. As I am making my choices, I will not forget the smile of my teacher when I correctly spelled out the word "China" for the first time, I will not forget the happy faces of the boys and girls we helped to send back to school in the mountains of Jiangxi Province. I will not forget the tearful eyes of women and children in Bosnia, Chechnya and Somali, where millions are suffering from war, famine or poverty. All these people, known and unknown, make up our big human family. At different points, they came into my life and broaden my perspective. Now as I am to make choices for myself, it is time to make efforts to improve their lives, because a world will benefit us all only if every one in it can lead a peaceful and prosperous life.选择的重要性去年春节期间,我陷入过一场家庭纷争。

比赛英文演讲稿英文
比赛英文演讲稿英文Good morning/afternoon, dear friends and fellow competitorsToday, I stand here with a heart full of excitement and a mind brimming with thoughts to share with you A competition is not merely a platform to showcase our skills and knowledge; it is a journey of selfdiscovery, growth, and connectionWhen we step into a competition, we are not just facing a set of tasks or challenges We are encountering opportunities to push our boundaries, to explore the unknown, and to prove to ourselves what we are capable of achieving It is a chance to learn from others, to be inspired by their stories and experiences, and to incorporate those learnings into our own pathsIn the process of preparing for a competition, we invest time and effort We research, we practice, we make mistakes, and we learn from them Every late night spent studying, every frustration faced, and every breakthrough achieved becomes a part of our story It builds our resilience and determination, teaching us that success often lies on the other side of hardshipA competition also brings out the best in us It forces us to be creative, to think outside the box, and to come up with unique solutions It encourages us to take risks, to believe in our instincts, and to have the courage to stand out from the crowd This spirit of innovation and boldness is not only valuable within the confines of the competition but also in our everyday livesFurthermore, a competition is a social event It brings together people from diverse backgrounds, with different perspectives and ideas Through interaction and collaboration with them, we broaden our horizons, develop a global mindset, and build networks that can last a lifetime We learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity and the power of teamworkHowever, it is important to remember that in a competition, winning is not everything While the goal is to perform well and come out on top, the true essence lies in the process itself The lessons we learn, the skills we acquire, and the personal growth we experience are far more significant than the trophy or the title Even if we don't win, we should view it as a stepping stone, a valuable learning experience that will prepare us better for future endeavorsIn conclusion, a competition is a multifaceted experience that enriches our lives in countless ways It allows us to challenge ourselves, discover our potential, learn from others, and contribute to a community of likeminded individuals striving for excellence So, let us embrace the spirit of competition, approach it with enthusiasm and an open mind, and make the most of every opportunity it offersThank you for listeningThis is just a basic example of a competition English speech You can adjust and expand it based on the specific requirements and themes of your competition For instance, if it's a sports competition, you could incorporate stories of famous athletes and their struggles and achievements If it's an academic competition, you might focus more on the importance of knowledge acquisition and applicationAlso, the tone and style of the speech can vary depending on the audience and the occasion It could be passionate and inspiring, or it could be more analytical and thoughtprovoking The key is to connect with your audience, convey your message clearly, and make your speech memorableAnother aspect to consider is the use of examples and anecdotes Personal stories or reallife incidents can make your speech more relatable and engaging For example, you could talk about a time when you faced a tough competition and how you overcame the challengesIn addition, the structure of the speech is crucial A wellorganized speech with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion helps the audience follow your thoughts easily In the introduction, you should capture the attention of the audience and introduce the main topic The body of the speech should present your main points and supporting details And in the conclusion, summarize your key points and leave the audience with a powerful thought or call to actionRemember, the best speeches are those that come from the heart and are delivered with confidence and sincerity So, take the time to reflect on your own experiences and feelings related to the competition, and let that authenticity shine through in your speech Good luck with your competition and your speech!。
英语口语大赛稿三篇
英语口语大赛稿三篇Speech 1: My Journey of Learning EnglishLadies and gentlemen, honored judges, and fellow contestants,Good morning! Today, I stand before you to share my journey of learning English. For me, learning a new language was not simply a means of communication, but an exciting adventure that opened doors to new opportunities and expanded my horizons. It all began in my childhood when I was introduced to English through my school curriculum. At first, it seemed like a daunting task. The strange alphabet, unfamiliar sounds, and complex grammar rules overwhelmed me. But with determination and perseverance, I embraced the challenge.I started by immersing myself in the language. I listened to English songs, watched movies, and read books. Through these mediums, I discovered the beauty of English and developed a love for the language. I practiced speaking with native speakers whenever I had the chance, even if it meant making mistakes. I believed that making mistakes was an essential part of the learning process, as it allowed me to identify areas of improvement. As I progressed, I realized that learning a language was not just about vocabulary and grammar. It was about understanding different cultures and ways of thinking. English provided me with a window into the world. I learned about the customs, traditions, and values of English-speaking countries. This knowledge enabled me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and fostered a sense of global citizenship within me.Moreover, learning English has boosted my confidence and shaped my personality. It has given me the ability to express myself articulately and effectively. I have become more open-minded, adaptable, and tolerant. English has taught me to appreciate diversity and embrace different perspectives.Throughout my journey, I encountered numerous challenges. There were times when I felt frustrated and wanted to give up. However, I always reminded myself of my goals and the reasons why I started this journey. I realized that success is not measured by fluency alone, but by the passion and dedication one puts into their learning. In conclusion, learning English has been a transformative experience for me. It has broadened my horizons, connected me with people from around the world, and shaped me into a more confident individual. I encourage everyone to embark on their own language learning journey, as it is a gateway to endless possibilities.Thank you for listening.Speech 2: The Power of LanguageLadies and gentlemen, esteemed judges, and fellow participants, Good afternoon! Today, I want to talk about the power of language and how it shapes our world.Language is not just a tool for communication; it is a powerful force that influences our thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Our choice of words can either build bridges or create barriers between people. It has the ability to inspire, motivate, and bring about positive change.Language is a reflection of our culture and identity. It carries the stories, values, and traditions of a community. Through language, we can preserve our heritage and pass it on to future generations. It is through language that we express our emotions, share our experiences, and connect with one another on a deeper level.Language also plays a crucial role in shaping our perceptions and understanding of the world. It frames our thoughts and influences our attitudes. Different languages have unique ways of describing the world around us, which in turn influences how we perceive and interact with it. For example, the Inuit language has multiple words to describe different types of snow, highlighting its significance in their daily lives. Moreover, language is a powerful tool for advocacy and social change. Words have the power to challenge existing norms and bring attention to important issues. Through language, we can raise awareness, mobilize communities, and fight for justice. History has shown us that powerful speeches and persuasive words have the ability to ignite revolutions and transform societies. However, with great power comes great responsibility. We must use language wisely and ethically. Language can be used to manipulate, deceive, and spread hate. It can be used to divide communities and perpetuate stereotypes. Therefore, it is our duty to use language responsibly, with respect, empathy, and understanding. In conclusion, language is a powerful force that shapes our world. It connects us, defines us, and influences our beliefs and actions. Let us use language to build bridges, foster understanding, andcreate positive change. Together, we can harness the power of language to create a more inclusive and compassionate world. Thank you for your attention.Speech 3: Embracing Cultural DiversityLadies and gentlemen, respected judges, and fellow competitors, Good evening! Today, I want to talk about the importance of embracing cultural diversity and the benefits it brings to our society.Cultural diversity refers to the variety of cultures, traditions, and customs that exist in our world. It is a reflection of the rich tapestry of human experiences and perspectives. Embracing cultural diversity means recognizing and respecting the differences that exist among individuals and communities.Firstly, embracing cultural diversity promotes understanding and tolerance. By learning about different cultures, we gain a deeper appreciation for the values, beliefs, and ways of life that may differ from our own. This understanding helps break down stereotypes, reduce prejudice, and foster empathy. It allows us to build bridges of understanding and create a more harmonious society. Secondly, cultural diversity enhances creativity and innovation. When people from different cultural backgrounds come together, they bring unique perspectives and ideas. This diversity of thought leads to the development of new solutions, products, and services. It encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Companies and organizations that embrace cultural diversity are more likely to thrive in today’s globalized world.Furthermore, cultural diversity enriches our personal lives. It provides us with opportunities to experience new cuisines, music, art, and traditions. It broadens our horizons, expands our knowledge, and makes life more vibrant and exciting. It allows us to step outside of our comfort zones and embrace new possibilities. However, embracing cultural diversity is not without its challenges. It requires open-mindedness, patience, and a willingness to learn from one another. It requires us to challenge our own biases and preconceived notions. It may be uncomfortable at times, but it is through these challenges that true growth and understanding can occur. In conclusion, embracing cultural diversity is essential for creating a more inclusive and harmonious society. It promotes understanding, enhances creativity, and enriches our personal lives. Let us celebrate our differences, learn from one another, and create a world where diversity is valued and respected.Thank you for your attention.。

It is even regarded as the symbol of wealth and social position. For example, with plenty of money a man can do whatever he wants to. He can afford expensive cars and luxurious houses, and he can travel around the world and visit as many interesting places as he wants to. In their eyes, money is everything in life.In my opinion, money can both benefit people and do harm to them. On the one hand, we can't deny that money is useful. We need money to buy food, buy a house or pay our education cost. Money can make us live more comfortably. For example, with more money, we can help others and take part in more social activities and receive a good education, thus increasing our knowledge and developing our skills. On the other hand, some people try to get money by dishonest means, for example, they often cheat and gamble, even rob and kill people. Sooner or later, they will be punished by the law. Money can bring them nothing but misery. From In addition, money can not buy everything,For instance, no matter how much money one hast he can not buy good health, happiness or friendship,Although money is useful in many ways, there are still a lot of things that money can't buy in the world. In addition, money can also do harm to us. If a person really thinks of money as everything and pays his attention only to money, he will lose his friends, or even the care and warmth from his family. Thus,it brings him only loneliness.高中优秀英语演讲比赛稿篇3hello good evening everyone!i'm so happy that i can be admitted by my dreamed school. the new campus gives me a new start so i have a dream that the future me can rise out this small world and hold a place of myself, after several years' experience.in order to make this dream come true, i ask myself not only focus my attention on studies ,because i should face all the society not only my textbooks or my classmates.i think college is also a small society where i can improve myself .for example i should learn how to get along with other though i may dislike them ,or how to deal with things that i used regard as worthless and so on.then i sincerely hope i can find my true friends so that we canstruggle for our dreams together!although every thing is unforeseeable, i believe my dream will come true as long as i stick to them and never give up!finally , i'd like to conclude by thanking everyone who has worked so hard to make this address possible. thank you!高中优秀英语演讲比赛稿篇4Accept the Gift from LifeLadies and Gentlemen:Today I’m glad that I’m standing here talking to you all. As the title given,I am going to talk you about a way of treating people and things in life. Myspeech here basically includes 2 parts,in the former of which I‘ll describe youthe present occasion we teenagers are in.,as well as the reason behind. Thenit’s about the several opinions of mine toward the case above.Undoubtedly, every one of us has stepped into adolescence, a period of timewhere the mostexciting and mysterious changes take place. Boys, apparently become moreambitious. Girls, in some ways, start to dream and become more sensitive aboutthe world. All in all,as if our emotions become much stronger, somehow we’realways trapped in circles and struggling against something that can’t be cha ngedanyway. We complain about how fragile our friendship is, how little people knowabout us,how unfair the life is,etc. It seems that every time we fail, we blameit to the tough conditions we’re in, while never notice a problem insideourselves, that we’re never satisfied.Let’s just imagine that there was an old lady. What she sees was herneighbors’ being mean again while not how kind they were when they took care ofher sick body. What she saw was herdog’s annoying barking while not how muchloyalty it had shown. What she saw was always so depressing that it finallyturned her into an unpleasant person. Think about how our life would be if westand in her shoe. Why don’t we focus our attention on how much we’ve already got in stead? dream. in march this year, three teachers from australiacame to our school. during the meeting, we exchanged a lot about education.i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we havedifferent routines. what impressed me most was that their schools end at3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes. i can’t tell which kindof routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a bettereducation. the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which thereis no pressure but pleasure.in this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature. inthe morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise. inthe evening, they can exercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset.in the spring, they can go to the wild, lie on the lawn, and watch thekite flying in the blue sky. in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain. …students are free but polite and they respect each other. they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier. they have the freedom to organize time. they can go to the library, go to the lab, the computer rooms or the playground. they’re self-motivated and have a strong thirst for knowledge. and there are no frequent exams and rankings. students won’t be forced to wear uniforms everyday, and there is no required hair style. everyday is so colorful that they are looking forward to the next day when going to bed at night, every teacher in this school can give a course as they like. there is no tedious rating, no scraps of quantitative management and no rigid standard. teachers can fully display their personality in class, and they feel very happy and content to teach. every morning, on thoughts of giving lessons, they are excited. after class, they are delighted , with smiles on their faces. some experts, scholars and masters are also visiting teachers in this school.yang zhenning can give physics classes for a day. yi zhongtian opens lectures on chinese culture for a week. speaking of music, we can ask wang lihong to give music lectures, just as he did in oxford university. if necessary, we can also invite david beckham to speak something about the world cup …the principal of the school focuses on education rather than waste time in endless meetings and social activities. teachers’ wages are not high but enough to live comfortably. there are no other things to do except to teach. there are no paper requirements, no titles and no ranks because they don’t need to be judged by those things. almost every teacher is a well-known scholar and master in a particular field. a language teacher may be a writer at the same time. a math teacher may try to overcome a world-class guess. a physics teacher can win invention awards and a music teacher may return from an international music competition again.in short, in this school, the principal is satisfied, the teachersare happy and the students are joyful. that’s my dream.英语三分钟演讲素材 (3) tips for happinein daily lifedaily life can be made happier. it is a matter of choice. it is ourattitude that makes us feel happy or unhappy. it is true, we meet all kindsof situations during the day, and some of them may not be conductive tohappiness. we can choose to keep thinking about the unhappy events, andwe can choose to refuse to think about them, and instead, relish the happymoments. all of us constantly go through various situations andcircumstances, but we do not have to let them influence our reactions andfeelings.if we let outer events influence our moods, we become their slaves.we lose our freedom. we let our happinebe determined by outer forces. onthe other hand, we can free ourselves from outer influences. we can chooseto be happy, and we can do a lot to add happineto our lives.what is happiness? it is a feeling of inner peace and satisfaction.it is usually experienced when there are no worries, fears or obsessingthoughts, and this usually happens, when we do something we love to door when we get, win, gain or achieve something that we value. it seemsto be the outcome of positive events, but it actually comes from the inside, triggered by outer events.for most people happineseems fleeting, because they let changingouter circumstances affect it. one of the best ways to keep it, is bygaining inner peace through daily meditation. as the mind becomes morepeaceful, it becomes easier to choose the happinehabit.here are a few tips for increasing happinein daily life:1) endeavor to change the way you look at things. always look at the bright side. the mind may drag you to think about negativity and difficulties. don't let it. look at the good and positive side of every situation.2) think of solutions, not problems.3) listen to relaxing, uplifting music.4) watch funny comedies that make you laugh.5) each day, devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring book or article.6) watch your thoughts. whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, start thinking of pleasant things.7) always look at what you have done and not at what you haven't.sometimes you may begin the day with the desire to accomplish several objectives. at the end of the day you might feel frustrated and unhappy, because you haven't been able to do all of those things.look at what you have done, not at what you have not been able to do. you may have accomplished a lot during the day, and yet you let yourself become frustrated, because of some small things that you did not accomplish. you have spent all day successfully carrying out many plans, and instead of feeling happy and satisfied, you look at what was not accomplished and feel unhappy. it is unfair toward yourself.8) each day do something good for yourself. it can be something small, such buying a book, eating something you love, watching you favorite program on tv, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach.9) each day do at least one act to make others happy. this can be akind word, helping your colleagues, stopping your car at the crossroadto let people cross, giving your seat in a bus to someone else, or givinga small present to someone you love. the possibilities are infinite. whenyou make someone happy, you become happy, and then people try to make youhappy.10) always expect happiness.11) do not envy people who are happy. on the contrary, be happy fortheir happiness.12) associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy.remember, happineis contagious.13) do your best to stay detached, when things do not proceed asintended and desired. detachment will help you stay calm and control yourmoods and reactions. detachment is英语三分钟演讲素材 (4) we've gone from losing 9 million jobs during the financial crisis tocreating 10 million jobs. we've reduced the unemployment rate from 10%in october of to 6.1% today. and for the first time since the 1990s,american manufacturing is steadily5 adding jobs-over 700,000 since . andsurveys of both american and foreign business leaders confirm that americaonce again is viewed as the best place in the world to build and invest.that's all good news.but an awful lot of middle class americans are still not feeling theeffects of this recovery. since the year , gross domestic product-our gdp- has risen by 25%. and productivity in america is up by 30%. but middleclass wages during that same time period have gone up by only fourteencents.folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into the deal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.you know, the middle class is not a number. it's a value set. it means being able to own your home; raise your children in a safe neighborhood; send them to a good school where if they do well they can qualify to go to college and if they get accepted you'd be able to find a way to be able to send them to college. and in the meantime, if your parents need help, being able to take care of them, and hope to put aside enough money so that your children will not have to take care of you.that's the american dream. that's what this country was built on. and that's what we'redetermined8 to restore.in order to do that, it's time to have a fair tax structure, one that values paychecks as much as unearned income and inherited wealth, to take some of the burden off of the middle class. it's time to close tax loopholes so we can reduce the deficit9, and invest in rebuilding america - our bridges, our ports, our highways, rails, providing good jobs.with corporate10 profits at near record highs, we should encourage corporations to invest more in research and development and the salaries of their employees. it's time for us to invest in educational opportunity to guarantee that we have the most highly skilledworkforce11 in the world, for 6 out of every 10 jobs in the in the process produce a ripple12 effect thatboosts wages for the middle class and spurs economic growth for the unitedstates of america. economists13 acknowledge that if we do these and otherthings, wages will go up and we'll increase the gross domestic productof the united states.my fellow americans, we know how to do this. we've done it before.it's the way we used to do business and we can do it that way again. allthe middle class in this country want is a chance. no guarantee, just achance.americans want to work. and when given a fair shot, the american workerhas never, ever, ever, let his country down. folks, it's never a good betto bet against the american people.thanks for listening.英语三分钟演讲素材 (5) "who can so properly be the inquisitors for the nation as therepresentatives of the 英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 1We often hear people say,"Never give up."These can be encouraging words and words of determination.A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach your goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore,I believe that we should never give up.One reason is that if we give up too easily,we will rarely act eve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new,so we should not feel discouraged and should try again.Besides,if we always give up when we fail,we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people.Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make anew effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally,we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals,we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succee din other areas of our lives. If we never challenge ourselves,we will begin to doubt our abilities. In short,it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals.Whether we succeed in the end or not,we will learn something, and what we learn will help us to become better, more confident people.Furthermore,if we give up,we have non chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is always achance that we will succeed one day.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 2Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”.I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be.We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.We are young.“How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life,it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s thefreshness of the deep spring of life.A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture.I learnt a lot there.I’d like to share it with all of you.Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is.I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way.Well, let’s make a fist.Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself.Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it.Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way.Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning,“we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”.The past has gone.Nothing we do will change it.Butthe future is in front of us.Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us.And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world,we are the future.”英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 3Ladies and Gentlemen:Today I’m glad that I’m standing here talking to you all.As the title given,I am going to talk you about a way of treating people and things in life.Myspeech here basically includes 2 parts, in the former of which I‘ll describe youthe present occasion we teenagers are in.,as well as the reason behind.Thenit’s about the several opinions of mine toward the case above.Undoubtedly, every one of us has stepped into adolescence,a period of timewhere the mosteXciting and mysterious changes take place.Boys, apparently become moreambitious.Girls, in some ways, start to dream and become more sensitive aboutthe world. All in all,as if our emotions become much stronger, somehow we’realways trapped in circles and struggling against something that can’t be changedanyway. We complain about how fragile our friendship is, how little people knowabout us, how unfair the life is,etc. It seems that every time we fail, we blameit to the tough conditions we’re in,while never notice a problem insideourselves, that we’re never satisfied.Let’s just imagine that there was an old lady. What she sees was herneighbors’ being mean again while not how kind they were when they took care ofher sick body. What she saw was her dog’s annoying barking while not how muchloyalty it had shown. What she saw was always so depressing that it finallyturned her into an unpleasant person.Think about how our life would be if westand in her shoe. Why don’t we focus our attention on how much we’ve already got in stead? Youknow it’s really simple to do as there’s a tremendous amount of eXamples.Likethe popular Jetpack Joy Ride on your Iphone, you can enjoy it whenever you like, whereas in some poor area people don’t even know such thing as Iphone.Actually we should be thankful about the richness we’ve got, thankful thatwith each sunrise taking place we don’t need to starve to call it a day, thankful that the people we love are still in health, that we still got much tohold on.As a saying on website,” The world is tough, but I’m tougher.”Whatdoesn’t kill you makes you stronger.Every day is a gift from life, all we need is to acceptit, cherish thelessons life has taught us, so as to achieve our goal with high spirit. In thisway, someday when we leave the world, we leave no regrets.Thank you for listening.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 4Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My topic today is “Environment is my top concern”.When talking about Environment, what’s the first thing that has come to your mind? Is it the Copenhagen climate change conference, or the Gulf Oil Spill, or the leak of toXic sludge in Hungary? Different people may have different answers.Let’s check out how serious the environmental situation is in the world.Recent years have seen an increasing number of reports on the eXtinction of species, soil erosion as well as air pollution. The history of industrialization and urbanization has been a history of declining environmental quality. We may be satisfied with our so called modern life, but please do not turn a blind eye to what’s happened around us.Water is polluted.Animals are killed.Resources are devoured. And farmlands turn into desserts.Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world we now live in.It’s not a wonderland. It’s not a safe haven. It’s a planet damagedby human beings and the situation is getting even worse. We need to change. We need to do something about it.We need to shoulder our responsibility.Otherwise, the end of world may come just as the film 20XX showed us.Now is the moment; Now is the time; Now is the only chance we can have to save our world. Then you may ask “what can we do”? I have listed three answers to this question for all of you.Firstly, the governments should take a leading role in publicizing knowledge and raising people’s awareness. They are supposed to use economic and administrative leverage to monitor and regulate the environmental protection.Secondly, companies should raise their ability of independent innovation. They should encourage scientific and technological advances, and use new methods to reduce wastes and pollution. And thirdly,we people,as individuals, must take some actions. We should keep firmly in mind that every enormous change starts from the very first step.Ladies and gentlemen, the earth is in our hands.Save it,or destroy it, it’s our choice. Our efforts will be powerful enough to save the world. If everyone, including you and me,is engaged in this world-saving project, environment will never ever be my top concern.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 5In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat forsupper, what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends.at certain times in ourlives, we need to make even more critical choices, such as which school toattend, what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife.yes, life is amatter of choice.seemimgly, it means a choice of tangible things.but inessence, it means choosing a way of life.life is to be lived, savored, andenjoyed, not to be wasted or complained about.Hardly can we forget the time when our society faced the grave threat fromthe life—and—death disease——sars.yet, even during those dreadful times, someafflicted people remained optimistic.instead of wearing neutral white masks, some people turned to colouful ones, and thus display a happy mood.and somecreative people dubbed sars to mean "smile and remain smiling." i was deeplytouched by their optimisim, nearly forgetting that were still in a battle.people who survive these kinds of circumstances,(at some point)decide in theirminds to carry on in spite of the overwhelming odds.Laid—off workers, typically regarded as the victims of economicadvancement, are subject to desperation that being unmeployed has brought onthem.but, encouragingly, we havewitnessed some of them striving hard torebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demonstratingtheir values.Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoiduneXpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to liveoptimistcally,to love our lives,to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approachlife that day.as for me, i choose to be cheerful.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 6Good morning, everyone!.From all the warm applause, i am of my classmates have hope.i will be with perseverance and tenacity to laugh last!what is life? i’m always seeking for the answer.fortunately, when i read a magazine one day,i found the truth to make my life 100%.today i would like to share it with you.now, my dear friends, let’s do an interesting test together and then you will find the secret by yourself! as we all know, there are 26 alphabets in english, a to z.against them we have the numbers 1% to 26%.if a is equal to 1%, and b to 2%, and so on, until z is equal to 26%, then can you guess what can make our life 100%? that is to say, what can make our life perfect?some of you may suggest “money”.however, after calculating, you’ll find it only comes to 72%.now try a few more.knowledge? yes, knowledge is power! but this time it only comes to 96%.how about love? that only shows at 54%.luck does even worse, only at 47%.though most of us think this is the most important.then what makes 100%? hard work? closer, 98%.but not eXact.now, what on earth can make life 100%? well, every problem has a solution, only if we perhaps change our attitude.yes! only attitude comes out at 100%.many of the gifts we have been given have been distributedunfairly.we all wish we had the ability of the talented, the money of the rich, and the luck of the beautiful.but none of these matter.there is only one thing we all have equally and can always control even in the worst situations.and that is our attitude.life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.therefore, attitude is the thing that shapes who you are the most.attitude is everything.now, my dear friends, please give the world a sunshine smile.change your attitude and enjoy every minute in your life.that’s all.thank you!英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 8The Dream Came True I wanna welcome everybody here in this cheer team.Thank you for coming here this morning to stand on my side cheering me on.It’s my dream to have the opportunity to challenge all the foreign athletes to the championship at this great occasion: 20XX Olympic Games. Now, the dream came true.As an athlete of China, I’m here to win the gold medal of orienteering for our motherland.I’m so proud of being one of the best players in the world. But could you believe I had been a lazy girl when I was in Junior High.I’m not kidding! At that time, running was my last favorite.I really don’t know how to describe the first time I was on the track. It was horrible. When I started to run, I was simply out of breath. And while I touched the finishing line, I really didn’t know if I was still alive. It’s so funny, huh? But it’s true, I did.Well, something happened and changed the situation. We won the right of holding the Olympic Games in 20XX.After that, sports became a kind of game in campus. And there are many sports clubs in school. One day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of those?”First I felt so wired.“Try to get into sports clubs? Are you kidding?”I said. And she goes: “Why not It’s not hard at all, and so fascinating!” So I did tried one and I was so lucky to become one of those who did orienteering. That is a fantastic sport! You need to run and find where to go just by using a map and a compass. It’s wasn’t popular in China at first. But when we heard it might become a new event in 20XX, we did practiced hard, and aimed to win the first Champion of orienteering in the world. When we practiced, there were a lot of troubles. You know, sometimes you need to go with your feet, but sometimes you need to go with your heart. In some situations,we faced the difficulties and problems. And we need to solve thatthrough teamwork and strong willpower. So we can run faster,go higher and be stronger. That is what we say—Olympic spirit. Now the dream came true.I’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. So do the people from all over the world to HERE at the Olympic Games. It’s the Olympic Games that make us together. We are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. We are here for a spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 9In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat forsupper, what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends.at certain times in ourlives, we need to make even more critical choices, such as which school toattend, what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife.yes, life is amatter of choice.seemimgly, it means a choice of tangible things.but inessence, it means choosing a way of life.life is to be lived, savored, andenjoyed, not to be wasted or complained about.Hardly can we forget the time when our society faced the grave threat fromthe life-and-death disease--sars.yet, even during those dreadful times, someafflicted people remainedoptimistic.instead of wearing neutral white masks, some people turned to colouful ones, and thus display a happy mood.and somecreative people dubbed sars to mean "smile and remain smiling." i was deeplytouched by their optimisim, nearly forgetting that were still in a battle.people who survive these kinds of circumstances, (at some point)decide in theirminds to carry on in spite of the overwhelming odds.Laid-off workers, typically regarded as the victims of economicadvancement, are subject to desperation that being unmeployed has brought onthem.but, encouragingly, we have witnessed some of them striving hard torebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demonstratingtheir values.Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and evenavoiduneXpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to liveoptimistcally,to love our lives,to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approachlife that day.as for me, i choose to be cheerful.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 10Honorable Judges, Ladies and gentlemen, Fellow students, good morning/afternoon:I’m very glad to be here.my name is wangqihang.I’m ten years old.I come from HuanXi Primary school.I’m in class 3, grade 5.As a happy boy,I have many hobbies, such as sports, playing piano, singing, and drawing.Among them, travel is my favorist one.I have visited some other cities, like Beijing, Hainan, chongqing, guangXi, Qindao, dalian and so on.Everywhere I went, I enjoyed the natural scenery and appreciated the human landscape very much. Not only that, I want to go abroad to take in the beauty of the custom of other countries in the future. And I even dream about what the life will be when we are on planets other than our Earth. That is why I’m so interested in the following scientific report recently.Cherish what we are enjoying. It is a report about the new planet which holds possibility for life.It shows that European astronomers have discovered a new planet, they name it gliese 581 c.It is about 20.5 light years from our earth. They estimated the planets average temperature at between 0 and 40 degrees centigrade. It is orbiting the red dwarf star, gliese 581.Most important of all, it’s an earth-like planet. There might be mountin, sea and liquid water. So the astronomers believe thatit is potentially habitable. However, gliese 581 c might be "tidally locked" to it’s sun-the dwarf star the way our moon is to the Earth. It means that it must always show its same face to its sun, and that while one side would be too fiercely hot to support life, the other side would be too cold. This report makes me to realize that how valuable our earth is.Everyday, we can see sunrise and sunset. The day and night keeps on eXchanging. It’s not too hot in the daytime while not to cold at night.Everyday, I go to school cheerfully in the morning and skip along at the way home as the sun set.We could eXperience changes through the four seasons of one year.Spring is the season sowing seeds. It is pregnant with life and green. In the Summer, colorful swimming suits frolick in the water happily.Autumn is the harvest season, the paddy fields and trees are covered with golden color. In the winter,we can have snow battle, playing to our hearts content in the world of silvery white. How fortunate we are because we can live on the earth!we should cherish it, instead of polluting it, spoiling it or even destroying it.If one day, it is really angry and stop rotation, that will have be a disaster for us humanbeing. So, let us protect our earth with our love, making it better and more harmonious.Ladies and gentlemen, Now let me show you a story about the monkey and the moon. One day, a little monkey is playing by the well.He looks in the well and shouts :“oh! my god! The moon has fallen into the well!”An older monkeys runs over, takes a look, and says,“goodness me! The moon is really in the water!”And the oldest monkey comes over.He is very surprised as well and cries out:“The moon is in the well.”A group of monkeys run over to the well. They look at the moon in the well and shout:“The moon did fall into the well! come on! Let’s get it out!”Then, the oldest monkey hangs on the tree up side down, with his feet on the branch .And he pulls the neXt monkey’s feet with his hands. All the other monkeys follow his suit,And they join each other one by one down to the moon in the well.Just before they reach the moon, the oldest monkey raises his head and happens to see the moon in the sky,He yells eXcitedly “don’t be so foolish! The moon is still in the sky!”This is the end of the story.do you like it?Hope you all can remember me, wangqihang, a happy guy like the sunshine.Welcome you to visit my blog asina.Thank you verymuch.英语演讲比赛主题优秀演讲稿 11Chinese teacher treats us just like friends, we also very trust to her.On one occasion, my language result in the decline, the in the mind very anXious didnt know what to do, then I remembered the Chinese teacher told us what is not happy at ordinary times, the confused things can tell her, I summon up courage to find a Chinese teacher, she is to have a rest.Chinese teacher saw me come in and asked me whats the matter, I said I wanted to find her talk. She listened to the very happy, immediately brought me to the conference room.I sat down in the heart of all of the unhappy said out, Chinese teacher help me analysis, I also know how to improve their performance, shu teacher and told my hands to answer questions in class, have confidence in yourself, no matter right or wrong answer, all want to brave answer.Answer to very happy, very confident. Also dont answer wrong, dont be discouraged, for the neXt answer correct.Listen to the teachers these words, I really changed, my grades have improved, also love in class to answer the question, Im really happy for that. And let me have such a big change is the teachers words, from the bottom of my heart to thank her.Is she toldme to have confidence in yourself; Is she let me learn how to face setbacks; Is she let me make more friends. In this two years,I learned in ordinary school a few years also learn something, maybe is this school is different from other schools! More than ever we need to strive for an end to the violence. We need to unite behindpeace, tolerance, compassion, generosity towards one and other – the values that are at theheart of Islam and the heart of Eid. Today I want to reaffirm my commitment to thosevalues, my party’s commitment to those values, and I want to wish you all a loving andpeaceful Eid.英语演讲比赛稿范文【篇3】Good morning, Class of 20__!Thank you, President Tessier-Lavigne, for that very generous introduction. I’ll do my best to earn it.Before I begin, I want to recognize everyone whose hard work made this celebration possible, including the groundskeepers, ushers, volunteers and crew. Thank you.I’m deeply honored and frankly a little astonished to be invited to join you for this most meaningful of occasions.Graduates, this is your day. But you didn’t get here alone.Family and friends, teachers, mentors, loved ones, and, of course, your parents, all worked together to make you possible and they share your joy today. Here on Father’s Day, let’s give the dads in particular a round of applause.Stanford is near to my heart, not least because I live just a mile and a half from here.Of course, if my accent hasn’t given it away, for the first part of my life, I had to admire this place from a distance.I went to school on the other side of the country, at Auburn University, in the heart of landlocked Eastern Alabama.英语演讲比赛稿范文【篇4】Now, I am not going to stand here and tell you that failure is fun. That period of my life was a dark one, and I had no idea that there was going to be what the press has since represented as a kind of fairy tale resolution. I had no idea then how far the tunnel extended, and for a long time, any light at the end of it was a hope rather than a reality. So why do I talk about the benefits of failure? Simply because failure meant a stripping away of the inessential. I stopped pretending to myself that I was anything other than what I was, and began to direct all my energy into finishing the only work that mattered to me. Had I really succeeded at anything else, I might never have found the determination to succeed in the one arena I believed I truly belonged. I was set free, because my greatest fear had been realised, and I was still alive, and I still had a daughter whom I adored, and I had an old typewriter and a big idea. And so rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.英语演讲比赛稿范文【篇5】Amnesty mobilises thousands of people who have never been tortured or imprisoned for their beliefs to act on behalf of those who have. The power of human empathy, leading to collective action, saves lives, and frees prisoners. Ordinary people, whose personal well-being and security are assured, join together in huge numbers to save people they do not know, and will never meet. My small participation in that process was one of the most humbling and inspiring experiences of my life.Unlike any other creature on this planet, humans can learn and understand, without having experienced. They can think themselves into other people’s places.Of course, this is a power, like my brand of fictional magic, that is morally neutral. One might use such an ability to manipulate, or control, just as much as to understand or sympathise. And many prefer not to exercise their imaginations at all. They choose to remain comfortably within the bounds of their own experience, never troubling to wonder how it would feel to have been born other than they are. They can refuse to hear screams or to peer inside cages; they can close their minds and hearts to any suffering that does not touch them personally; they can refuse to know.I might be tempted to envy people who can live that way, except that I do not think they have any fewer nightmares than I do. Choosing to live in narrow spaces leads to a form of mental agoraphobia, and that brings its own terrors. I think the wilfully unimaginative see more monsters. They are often more afraid. What is more, those who choose not to empathise enable real monsters. For without ever committing an act of outright evil ourselves, we collude with it, through our own apathy. One of the many things I learned at the end of that Classics corridor down which I ventured at the age of 18, in search of something I could not then define, was this, written by the Greek author Plutarch: What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality.。

英文演讲稿三分钟比赛(3篇)
第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today to speak about a topic that is not only vital to our society but also deeply personal to each one of us – the power of diversity. I have been given three minutes to deliver my speech, and I will do my best to make every second count.Firstly, let us define what diversity truly means. Diversity is not just about race, ethnicity, or gender. It encompasses a wide array of differences, including but not limited to religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, and physical ability. It is the richness of our backgrounds, cultures, and experiences that make us unique individuals. Embracing diversity is about recognizing and valuing these differences, and understanding that they are the very essence of what makes our world so vibrant and dynamic. Now, why is embracing diversity so crucial? For starters, it fosters innovation and creativity. When people from various backgrounds come together, they bring with them a myriad of ideas, perspectives, and solutions. This diversity of thought leads to more innovative approaches and better problem-solving. History has shown us that some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs, artistic masterpieces, and technological advancements have come from diverse teams and collaborations.Furthermore, embracing diversity promotes social cohesion and reduces conflict. In a world where tensions often arise from misunderstandings and prejudices, understanding and respecting our differences can bridge gaps and build bridges. When we celebrate diversity, we create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique talents and perspectives.Let us consider the economic benefits of diversity. Companies that embrace diversity tend to outperform their competitors in terms of financial performance. A diverse workforce brings a wider range ofskills, knowledge, and experiences, which can lead to more effective decision-making and strategic planning. Moreover, diverse companies are more likely to attract and retain top talent, as they offer a workplace that is inclusive and respectful of all individuals. However, embracing diversity is not without its challenges. It requires us to confront our biases and preconceptions, and to be open-minded and willing to learn from others. It requires us to create an environment where everyone feels safe to express their true selves, and where differences are celebrated rather than tolerated. It requires leadership and commitment from all levels of society, from individuals to organizations, and from governments to global institutions. So, how can we embrace diversity more effectively? Here are a few suggestions:1. Education and awareness: We must educate ourselves and others about the importance of diversity, and the impact it has on our lives and communities. This includes understanding our own biases and working to overcome them.2. This can be achieved through community events, cultural exchanges, and collaborative projects.4. I am honored to stand before you and share my thoughts on a topic that is close to my heart – the power of education for a brighter future.Education is the cornerstone of any society. It is the key that unlocks the door to a world of possibilities. It is through education that we gain knowledge, skills, and values that shape our lives and contribute to the betterment of our communities and the world at large. In the words of Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." This statement resonates deeply with me, and I believe that it is our collective responsibility to ensure that every individual has access to quality education.Firstly, education empowers individuals. It is not just about acquiring academic knowledge, but also about developing critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. These skills are essentialfor personal growth and success in the modern world. When individuals are educated, they are more likely to be self-reliant, confident, and capable of making informed decisions that positively impact their lives and the lives of those around them.Consider the countless stories of individuals who have transformed their lives through education. There are those who have risen from poverty to become leaders in their fields, breaking barriers and setting new standards. There are those who have used their education to addresssocial issues, promote equality, and contribute to the advancement of humanity. These stories inspire us to believe that education can indeed change the world.Secondly, education fosters social cohesion and harmony. In a world that is increasingly interconnected, it is crucial that we learn to understand and appreciate each other's cultures, beliefs, and perspectives. Education provides us with the tools to do so. It encourages us to embrace diversity and promotes tolerance, respect, and empathy. When we are educated, we are more likely to work together, collaborate, and find common ground, which is essential for building a peaceful and sustainable world.Furthermore, education is the bedrock of economic development. A well-educated workforce is a productive workforce. It is through educationthat we can create a skilled and knowledgeable population that drives innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. When countries invest in education, they are investing in their future. They are equippingtheir citizens with the skills needed to compete in the global marketand to create jobs that will support their families and communities. However, despite the numerous benefits of education, there are still far too many people who are denied access to it. Inequality, poverty, and political instability are some of the factors that contribute to this issue. It is our duty to address these challenges and ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to receive a quality education. As individuals, we can play a role in this effort. We can support initiatives that provide scholarships, build schools, and train teachers. We can advocate for policies that promote education and ensure that itis accessible to all. And, most importantly, we can be role models by demonstrating the value of education in our own lives. In conclusion, education is a powerful force that can transform lives, build societies, and shape the future. It is our responsibility to embrace its power and work together to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to receive a quality education. Let us not underestimatethe impact of education, for it is through education that we can create a brighter, more equitable, and sustainable world for all.Thank you.第3篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is an honor to stand before you today to deliver my speech on the topic of embracing change. As we navigate through the complexities of life, change is an inevitable part of our existence. It shapes our world, influences our decisions, and ultimately, determines our success or failure. Therefore, it is crucial that welearn to embrace change, both on a personal and collective level.Firstly, let us consider the personal aspect of embracing change. Lifeis a series of transitions, and it is through these transitions that we grow and evolve. When we resist change, we limit our potential for personal development. Think about it: have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were uncomfortable, yet it was the catalyst for your growth? Perhaps you were promoted to a leadership role, or you moved to a new city, or you faced a personal crisis. In each of these instances, you were forced to step out of your comfort zone and adapt to new circumstances.Embracing change on a personal level requires a few key qualities. The first is resilience. Life will undoubtedly throw curveballs at us, butit is our ability to bounce back from adversity that defines our character. Resilience is not about avoiding challenges; it is about facing them head-on and finding the strength to overcome them. The second quality is openness. When we approach change with an open mind, we are more likely to embrace new ideas, perspectives, and opportunities. Openness allows us to learn from our experiences andadapt to the ever-changing world around us. It encourages us to explore our passions and pursue our dreams, even when the path is uncertain. The third quality is flexibility. Life is unpredictable, and the ability to be flexible is essential in adapting to new situations. When we are rigid and inflexible, we miss out on the countless opportunities that come our way. By remaining adaptable, we can navigate the complexitiesof life with ease and find joy in the unexpected twists and turns. Now, let us shift our focus to the collective aspect of embracing change. On a global scale, we are witnessing an era of rapid technological advancements, shifting political landscapes, and evolving social norms. These changes have the potential to disrupt our lives, but they alsooffer us the chance to create a better future. To embrace change collectively, we must foster a culture ofcollaboration and innovation. When we work together, we can harness the power of diverse perspectives and experiences to find creative solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. This requires us to let go of old biases and preconceived notions, and to embrace the fact that change is a natural part of progress. In addition, we must recognize the importance of education and lifelong learning. In an ever-changing world, the ability to adapt and acquire new skills is crucial. By investing in education and encouraging continuous learning, we can empower individuals and communities tothrive in the face of change.Furthermore, we must promote inclusivity and diversity. Embracing change means embracing the differences among us. When we celebrate our unique identities and work together to create a more equitable society, we can harness the full potential of our collective strength. In conclusion, embracing change is essential for personal and collective growth. By cultivating resilience, openness, and flexibility, we can navigate the complexities of life with ease and find joy in the unexpected. On a global scale, by fostering collaboration, innovation, education, and inclusivity, we can create a more prosperous and harmonious world.Ladies and gentlemen, let us not fear change, but rather embrace it as the catalyst for our growth and success. Together, we can build a future where change is celebrated, and progress is made for the betterment of all.Thank you.。

Clearly, I remember the day I came to Kaifeng on September, 11th. When I took apart from dear mom and dad, I turned back, and never glanced back, I knew I couldn’t hold up tears because I saw their red eyes the moment I waved goodbye. Facing up to the big campus, I told myself: Hi, girl, you know, it’s you, yourself here, nobody can help you. Come on! Be brave and try your best! There must be a whole new world! Yes, I’m not a timid girl, I have no fear! Supple knees never belong to me! I’m young and full of passion, I will take up my task with light heart and hope!
At last, I remember what Forrest Gump said: Life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get.” Yes, we never know what will come to us tomorrow. Maybe hope is frail, but it is hard to kill. As youth, each one of us is a unique, worthwhile individual. So, dear friends! Just be yourself! Don’t pay mush attention to results, value your experiences and enjoy them! Then, one day, you can proudly tell yourself:
Insightful foreseeing is the first contributing factor. In other words, our nice dreams should have right directions. Otherwise, the nice dreams will go poles apart in the beginning. The famous “Ig Nobel Prizes”, “搞笑诺贝尔奖” in Chinese, which is provided for wrong science dreamers, is the best example. In 2006, one of such prizes was awarded to a dreamer, who studies “Why peckers have no headache when bumping into trees.”
Although there is no trace in the sky, I have flied away!
Realize the dream of life
No doubt, many people have very nice dreams of lives; and, we also notice that many nice dreams come true; unfortunately, in contrast, more nice dreams are failed… So, I always think about how we can realize our nice dreams of lives. Maybe the following viewpoints could provide us with useful inspirations.
Well, above all, we have found no any armchair dreamer who can realize his or her dream of life. So, timely actions should be taken to chase our nice dreams of lives since this unforgettable moment.
ቤተ መጻሕፍቲ ባይዱ
Endurance is the third contributing factor, because usually the trek in hot pursuit of our dreams of lives, especially a Cinderella’s dream of life, is very long. Yes, “Rome is not built in one day.” So, please don’t cry, do not complain, and do not give up the dream inside! You know, Toyota has replaced General as the number one in car industry. But do you know how long the trek is? --- From 1935 to 2006, totally 71 years! So, please firmly believe that, endurance in all weathers will bring the realization of our dreams of lives one day.
No trace, but I have flied away
Maybe all of you have ever read these words: Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of will, a quality of imagination, a vigor of the emotions: it is the freshness of the deep spring of life.
As a youth, I quite like these words of Samuel Erman. It tells the truth of youth, especially after I entered this university, I realized it is true that youth is not only a matter of time, process is more important.
In the following days, I experienced tough military training. That made me even stronger. Having stood still in big sun and heavy rains, I sincerely understood “Persistence is victory!” As Michael Jordan said : I can never stop working hard . Each day I feel I have to improve , hard work ,determination … I’ve got to keep pushing myself . Yes , that’s what I nudge me to make more achievements. I actively took part in various of activities., caring little about results. When failed, I would think of the solemn auditorium , the splendid career my college had mad. Then, I cheered up , for the striving history of henna university taught me: The strongest people are not always the people who win ,but who don’t give up when they lose.
As a sailing ship has a destination, we must have a definite goal in our life. Now, we are college students, we should know what we are doing and what kind of person we want to be in the future. As an average student with average ability, I have my dreams and life goals, too. And I also know there will be a hard and long way for me to come along, because life is tough, whether we want it to be or not. Many times we pray for ease, but that’s a prayer seldom met. Even so, we still should be optimistic, because no practice, you will never know how deep the river is, how hot the fire is, the result of on looker is only nothing.
