He went looking for Andy and found a note from him telling Red where to find a box Andy had buried. Inside was money and instructions for how to get to Mexico. So Red got on a bus and followed the instructions, hoping to be reunited with his best friend.And you know what? The movie ends with Red finding Andy on that beautiful beach in Mexico! After dreaming about it for so many years, Andy's plan to escape from Shawshank finally worked. They get to live out their hope and dream that they talked about for so many years in Shawshank. It makes me so happy to see Andy finally free and enjoying paradise after all his struggles.The reason I love The Shawshank Redemption so much is because it shows that no matter how bad life gets, you should never give up hope.
