Today I want to share the book I was reading these days with is called pride and prejudice written by an English writer Jane Austen and came out in showed the society landed gentry of early 19th century England by telling the love story between Elizabeth and is the second of five daughters of ,who is a country gentleman living in a town near rich bachelor called became the new neighbor of the Bennets and fell in love with the eldest daughter Jane at the first eye,which made very happy because she wants her daughters married rich with his friend Darcy comes to a party where Darcy and Elizabeth is a wealthy Duke so he is always said Elizabeth’s appearance is just in the range he could thinks him as an rude man thus ignoring soon after ,Darcy found Elizabeth is an innocent and lovely girl and he changed his idea of her little by little,especially after Elizabeth agreeing to dance with Darcy thinks Elizabeth is a good girl but he cannot the rudeness of her worried that Jane is not attracted by Bingley but his property so he persuades Bingley to stay away from Jane.
There is a person called Wickham praised by many people getting on well with tells Elizabeth that he was the housekeeper of the Darcy’s familly and he could have inherited a part of estate of Darcy’s father but Darcy stole it .Elizabeth disgusts Darcy more and refused to marry writes a letter to Elizabeth to explain some facts that he persuaded Bingley to leave Jane because he is not satisfied with Mrs. Bennet and Elizabeth younger sisters’impolite told a lie to her,and the fact is Wickham wasted his part of estate reading this letter,Elizabeth regrets to blame Darcy wrongly.
The next summer,Elizabeth hears her youngest sister ran away with indebted Wickham and comes across her surprised,Darcy has paid the debt for her sister and ’s more ,she finds that Darcy is no more an arrogant man but a begin to fall in love with each other while Jane and Bingley renew their proposes to Elizabeth again and she agrees.
This story reflects the author's view of marriage: it is wrong to marry for wealth, money, and status, and it is foolish to get married without considering the above factors. Therefore, she opposed marriage for money, is opposed to the marriage as a trifling matter. She stressed the importance of the ideal marriage, and the feelings of both men and women as the cornerstone of the ideal 's different attitude to Darcy's two marriage proposals actually reflects the pursuit of women's independence and equality of personality.
Pride and Prejudice is perhaps one of the greatest love stories in the world, it tells that women have the right to live better, but not to think that women should be taken for granted.
