1Good morning everyone:As we all know, happiness is something that every person is chasing.I always try my best to find out what is the true meaning of happiness. And I think I got it last week.It was an ordinary Saturday morning. I felt a little tired because of the preparation for the mid-term exams. It was not long before my mother came in with a large bunch of white roses picked from the seller’s gardon. During the next few minutes, we were both busy putting them into a big cley case. Looking at the flowers, I found the dark sitting room became bright, so did my mood, just like a person gets some fresh air when he feels dizzy. All the feeling of boredom flew away. Then I remember a poem named “Life could be worse”, which said:” For the weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means I have been capable of working hard. For my alarm that goes of in the early hours, because it means I am alive. And finally, for too much e-mail, because it means I have friends who are thinking of me. “I learnt that h appiness is not the diamond in a necklace, nor a dream far away, it’s just your attitude towards life.If you realize it, a simple cup of cola with ice can bring you a cool summer, for happiness is so ordinary that it’s right in the palm of your hand.Thank you!

These two-minute story examples exemplify the power of concise yet captivating narratives that not only entertain but also cultivate essential linguistic skills. One such story begins with a young protagonist named Emily who finds herself on a whimsical adventure. As she steps out the door one morning, she notices a trail of glittering dust leading down the sidewalk. The fairies welcome her with open arms and invite her to join their enchanting revelry. For the next two minutes, Emily's journey unfolds, filled with delightful encounters, magical discoveries, and valuable lessons about the importance of imagination and embracing the wonders of the natural world.Another captivating tale centers around a boy named Ethan, who faces the challenge of overcoming his fear of public speaking. Through his journey, he learns the valuable lesson that courage can be found within, and that facing one's fears can lead to remarkable personal growth. In a third story, the protagonist is a curious young girl named Lily, who discovers a magical book in the school library.

1and see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as we advance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations. nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet found no obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever. we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; and feel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do not foresee from any present symptoms how we shall be left behind in the natural course of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is the simplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so to speak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and our passions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. our short-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is an indissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, nor separation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of our wayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe around us0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead of which it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind with their magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that we have no room for the thoughts of death. 2In the world, I am sure that no one dare say he hasn't met any trouble allhis life. So we must face failure. In fact, failure is not fearful, butimportant thing is how to face it correctly. Facingfailure, people will nevertake their fate lying down. They will try their best to work harder and harderuntil at last they succeed. Not being courageous to face setbacks, people have no chance to enjoy thepleasure of success. So they have nothing to do but feel sad and empty all dayand all night. In fact, they lose the chance of success themselves. My friend, whenever in trouble, please remember, “Failure is the mother ofsuccess.”Twists and turns in life are unavoidable and are not always bad. We shouldhave a more optimistic view on life and try to make the most of it and drawlessons from the bumps and turns along the way.If there is any single factor that makes for success in living, it is theability to profit by defeat. Every success I know has been achieved because theperson was able to analyze defeat and actually profit by it in his nextundertaking. Confuse defeat with failure, and you are doomed indeed to failure. For it isn't defeat that makes you fail: it is your own refusal to see in defeatthe guide and encouragement to success. Defeats are nothing to be ashamed of.They are routine incidents in the life of every man who achieves success. Butdefeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it andlearn why you failed.Defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. Not only doesdefeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such acompelling desire to succeed. If you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull itaway, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. It is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength everytime you are defeated. If you exploit the power which defeat gives, you canaccomplish with it far more than you are capable of. 3good morning, ladies and gentlemen. i’d like to share my teaching dream with you. but before that, i want to say something about the beginning of this dream. in march this year, three teachers from australia came to our school. during the meeting, we exchanged a lot about education. i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines. what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes. i can’t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education. the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.in this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature. in the morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise. in the evening, they can exercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset. in the spring, they can go to the wild, lie on the lawn, and watch the kite flying in the blue sky. in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain. …students are free but polite and they respect each other. they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier. they have the freedom to organize time. t英语演讲稿2分钟篇4good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. good afternoon, boys and girls. good afternoon, every body. i ’m glad to make a speech here.as we all know, tomorrow is teachers’ day. many people say that teachers are not unusual at all. that’s true. but i want to say though teachers are common, their job is unusual. what they dois very very great. i am an english teacher. so i’ll make an english speech here. and my topic is “live with thankfulness”. do you know what “thankfulness” means in chinese? it means “gan’en”.we know that in the world, we are not living alone. from the day we were born, there have been many people around us. they take care of us. they help us. they teach us. they play with us and grow up together with us. they support us. they understand us. the most important is: they love us. who are they? can you give me your answer?yes, they are our parents, grandparents or family members; they may be your idmates, your friends even your neighbors. they are all important to us. we can’t live without them. we should thank them.we should thank the great world. because it gives us sunlight, air, water and everything we need to keep us alive healthily. we can’t live without them.we should thank our parents. they are the people who gave us the life. they look after us carefully and give all their love to us.i believe if necessary, they are willing to give everything to us. they stay with us, all the time.we should thank our teachers. it is they who teach us knowledge unselfishly. they let us know how to write, how to read, how to get on with others and so on. they are our guide in our life.we should thank our friends, our idmates. they are our partners. they understand us. they encourage us. they play with us. they grow up together with us. they make our life more colorful.my dear boys and girls, teachers’ day is coming.it’s acelebrating time. it’s also a thankful time. let’s take actions together. show our thanks to the world, learn to protect it. show our thanks to our parents, learn to look after them. show our thanks to our teachers, learn how to respect them. show our thanks to our idmates, learn to help and share with them.boys and girls, are you ready? live with thankfulness, from now on. let’s go!so much for my talk .thanks very much!

鞠躬,弯腰(back+low=bow鞠躬[把背放低就是鞠躬,这和单词“no+light=night”异曲同工之妙])bend vt.

Different people have different opinions. Some people prefer wealth, holding that money can not bring everything, but without it, one can do nothing. In order to get more money they can do anything. However, other people regard health as more important.Once health is lost, it is no use having a lot ofmoney. As far as I am concerned, I love wealth, but I value health more.Everybody wants to live a happy life.So they try their best to earn money which they can ensure they lead a comfortable life, but if happiness and comfort are achieved at the cost of their health, how can they be happy Without health money becomes meaningless. In my opinion, no one agrees that a wealthy person without good health can be happy. So, just do our best and keep fit.4.My English Study/About English Study我的英语学习/关于英语学习 English is always my favorite subject and I am good at English.I would like to share 4 good studying habits with you.First, remember 20 new words, and never give up.Second, go over grammar points I have learnt in English class regularly.Third, read an English article in China Daily every day.Fourth, write an English composition every week and ask teacher to revise that for me to improve the writing level. If you do things above, I am sure your English will also be improved.5.My Plan for the Spring Festival我的春节计划/Plan for the Spring Festival Spring festival is the most important festival for Chinese people. Many people will prepare many things for the spring festival. Now this is my plan for the spring festival. The first, I will visit my friends and my relatives. The second, I will make a big snow man with my daughter and my wife. The third, I will stay with my parents, because I have no more time to stay with them at peacetime. This is my plan for the spring festival.I hope all of you have a good time in the spring festival.6.Water Pollution水污染Everybody knows that there is serious problem of water pollution on the earth.Yes, water pollution is increasing.Look! The water in the river is getting dirtier and dirtier. Most of fish in the water have died, and we can‟t swim in thewater. My grandfather says, when he was very little, the waterin the river was very clean. He often swam in the river with his friends. That was before, but now we can‟t see such clean rivers.Let‟s protect the water from pollution, because we can‟t live without water. The water is really important to us all.
