Unit 8 My Friends Part A教材分析本课时为第八单词的第一课时,类型为对话课。
具体内容为:学习新单词、词组the USA, read an email, play with Fido, look at the photos和句型What is he/she doing?/What are they doing等现在进行时单复数的区别及综合运用,另外还要学习字母tr与dr的发音规则。
此前学生在第二册(三年级下Unit 8, Part B)、第四册(四年级下Unit 2, Part A)学习过现在进行时的单数形式、第六册(五年级上Unit 2, Part A)学习现在进行时的复数形式,因此在本单元的学习中,我侧重把目标定位为:引导学生区分现在进行时的单数与复数的区别,实现对现在进行时这一语言特点的综合运用。
由于本课学习中涉及一些动词词组,此前学生也学习过许多相关词组,如:play basketball, play football, fly a kite, take a photo等,本课教学中,一方面要让已有知识提高复现率,另一方面,从学生已有知识出发,温故知新,创设情境,把机械操练和趣味操练有机结合,引导学生进行听、说、读、写的训练,在此基础上让学生说说他们的朋友,达到综合运用语言目的。
结合我校学情,我采取相对集中,适当分散难点,在运用中体验现在进行时的单数和复数的区别,结合实际,如:介绍朋友目前的现状,进行表达,突破教学的重难点。
对于字母发音的教学,我则把它放在第三课时,实现教学的完整性。
学情分析我区小学从三年级始开设英语,经过一年多的英语学习,学生积累了一定的学习经验和英语学习意识,具备了一定的知识和技能,掌握了一定的听、说、读、写能力,具有浓厚的英语学习兴趣。
五年级的学生好表现,喜欢挑战,乐于参与和表演,竞争意识强,形象思维占主导地位,记忆力强,求知欲旺盛,但往往注意时间短、兴趣又不稳定。

(一)课文教学。
1.教师出示课本第57页的第一幅图,向学生提问:

2.请学生听录音看课文对话,找出答案。
3.教师根据学生的回答,在黑板上贴出Sally和Wang Tao的头像,然后请学生同桌两人一组,参考课文及以前学过的知识,写一写他们两人的情况。
4.请个别学生起来展示他们所写的材料,教师将学生所说的内容写在黑板上的头像旁,并补充完整,如:

(二)复述课文。
1.教师播放课文录音二至三遍,学生模仿跟读。
2.教师请两位学生起立,分角色读一读对话。
3.教师根据黑板上的图,示范复述课文,如:
Peter,Wang Tao and Sally are in Class One,Grade Five.They are good friends.Peter is from Australia.He is a tall boy.He is good at sports.Wang Tao is good at sports,too.They often play basketball after class.Sally is from the USA. She is good at English and music.
4.请学生四人一小组,每人都在小组内说一说。
5.请个别学生上台展示。
(三)语音教学。
1.出示tree和train的单词卡,反复朗读,引导学生发现tr的发音/tr/,尝试听音拼出try,trap,tray,trip等新词。
游戏——金口玉言。
游戏规则:教师将tree,train,try,trap,tray,trip等单词卡叠在一起,然后请两位学生走上讲台来。
教师出示单词卡,两位学生抢答,教师可奖励读得又快又准的那位学生。
2.教师用同样方法归纳出新词draw,bedroom中dr的发音/dr/,尝试听音拼出drop,drip,drug,dress等新词。
游戏——金手指。
游戏规则:教师将tree,train,try,draw,bedroom,drop等单词卡片发给班上坐在前几排的学生,要求他们将单词卡片高高举起,以便全班学生能看见,接着教师任意读出其中一个单词,全班学生快速用手指指出教师读的那个单词,教师可奖励正确反应的学生。

综合活动:介绍朋友。
1.教师出示自己朋友的照片,将他(她)介绍给学生。
如:
This is my good friend.Her name is ×××.She’s from Shanghai.She is an English teacher,too.She’s good at English.Look!She is reading an English book.
2.请学生出示自己好朋友的照片,同桌两人互相介绍,当一个人介绍时,另一个人可以提一些问题来得到你想知道的信息。
3.请个别学生上台展示。
展示结束后,教师或其他同学提问。

3.预习Unit 8 My Friends Part B,下节课告诉老师,Peter 还有哪些朋友。
