Active Listening Strategies
Teach learners active listening strategies such as note-taking, summarizing, and paraphrasing to improve comprehension and retention.
Ensure that the selected materials are appropriate for the learners' level of proficiency, with a gradual increase in difficulty to challenge and improve their listening skills.
Encourage learners to practice listening independently through self-selected materials or assigned tasks to build autonomy and confidence.
Give constructive feedback on learners' performance, focusing on areas for improvement and providing strategies for further development. Use assessments to monitor progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
When speaking, students should ensure that their ideas flow logically and are easy to follow. This can be achieved through the use of connecting words and phrases, as well as by organizing ideas in a clear and structured way.

at the desk 在桌前(办公,看书等) He is working at his desk. on the desk 在办公桌上 I put it on his desk. There are some books on the desk.
I've booked a table for two at 7.00. They sat around the table and made this big decision.
the food in a dish. plate和dish都是“盘、碟”,但plate指平盘 (碟),食物实际是放在一个平面之上,所以 用on;dish虽属浅碟,但盘沿稍陡,食物置其 内,多用in。
There are many red apples on the tree. There are a lot of birds in the tree.

plate n. 盘子
plate n.
Mary put the peaches in a white dish.
The child soon finished the food on his plate.
