It speaks to basic human emotions. Many country music songs are about homesickness, poetry and heartbreak. English immigrants first brought country music to America. In the 1930s and 1940s, country music often appeared in cowboy films and became popular’

What’s special about country music ？

Country music came form folk songs, so most are simple, smooth and easy to sing. They talk about country life in a storytelling way. Solo is the most common performance from the music. Songs are usually accompanied by violins and guitars.

Books Make Life Easier

When I was a child, I knew I was different from others---I was disabled. I can not change no matter what I do.

I am really different from other kids. I can’t see things around me clearly. When my classmates play games happily outside, I have to stay at home and look out of the window.

For a long time, I felt hopeless. Although my mother always said，“ you are the precious baby in our family ,” it didn’t work.

I asked God,” why did you give me a pair of useless eyes when yoyo give me life？”Of course, there was no reply.

I turned to books for help .Books are my only friends. When I sad and upset , they cheer me up ; when I feel happy and excited, they share my feelings. They can take me to another world, in which

I can see everything clearly and free my heart through joy.

I begin to write down my thoughts and keep them as a secret. When I studied at middle school, I had a good teacher. He read all of my poems and said, “Well done！”He always praised me in c lass. He kept helping me. Now I am full of energy and confidence. I believe I can do things like the other kids.

I’m unique.

Westlife’s Romantic Rose

Everyone has their own ideas of what love means. Irish boy-band Westlife think love is like a beautiful rose.

“When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long, just remember that in the winter, far beneath the bitter snow, lies the seed that with the sun’s love in the spring becomes the rose.”

“Rose” is the first single of Westlife’s new CD The Love Album. While the record will not hit stores until November 20 , 2006, you can enjoy“rose”first on their website.

As the name suggests ,the latest album is a collection of old favourites picked out by the four boys.

Love ballads have been Westlife’s speciality since they broke into the music business in 1998 when they were aged 18. Although there were many boy bands around at that time. Westlife stood out from the rest.They won a place in the“Guinness Book of World Records” when their first seven singles all went straight to the top of the UK charts.

“Boy bands could get away with having one good singer and four good-looking guys,”said band member Kian Egan.“But it’s not just about that. It’s a lot more about the music, the sound. We want to be seen as serious musicians.”

When Westlife started out, every member had to be able to sing and offer something different to the band’s overall sound. They sang about wanting, loving, fighting and missing---the whole life cycle of human relationships. “Their singing and music is arranged in a way that is beautiful beyond words,” said David Dunlap, a British fan of the band. In march 2004, Bryan McFadden left the band to pursue his own career.
