3. 从句说明的是一般真理、客观事实、自然 现象时,仍用一般现在时。
• Dad told us that it is better to do than to say. • He told the boy that three and three is six. • He told me the earth moves around the sun. • Mr. Li told me the sun rises in the east.
和连接副词 where,how,why,when 引导的宾语从句
1.由从属连词 that 引导的宾语从句
注:that 引导的从句,表示陈述一件事实, that在句中无任何意义,不充当句子成分, 常省略。
e.g.
1.I hear (that) h__e_w__i_ll_b__e_b__a_c_k__in__a_n__h_o_u. r 2.He said (that) _h__e_m__i_s_se_d__u__s_v_e_r_y__m__u_c.h
We discussed whether we should close the shop. 2.当与or not连用,或 or 提出两种选择时:
I don’t know whether he’s free or not. Tell me whether you’d like to go shopping or tidy the room. 3. 用在动词不定式之前时用whether不用if。 I don’t know whether to go there at once. 4.为了强调宾语部分,也可把从句提在主句前。 Whether this is true or not , I can't say.

连接副词 where,how,why,when 引导的宾语从句
主句谓语动词,表示疑问不确定含义,要用 疑问引导宾语从句,并在从句中担任句子成 分(状语),具有一定的意义,不可省略。
1.主句用现在时或将来时,从句可用任 何时态,根据实际情况而定。
❖I know she lives here .
❖I know she lived here five years ago .
2.如果主句是过去的时态(一般过去时,过去进行 时),从句的时态一定要用相对应的过去的某种时 态(一般过去时,过去进行时,过去将来时,过去 完成时)
5. Our teacher told us in class the sun _r_i_s_e_s__ in
the east. (rise)
6.I don't think he can swim,_c_a_n__ ___h_e__?

由连接代词 Who,whom,whose,which,what 引导的宾语从句
主句谓语动词,表示疑问不确定含义,要 用疑问代词引导宾语从句,并在从句中担 任句子成分,具有一定的意义,不可省略。
1. Do you know__w_h_o_m__t_h_e_y_a_r_e_w_a_i_ti_n_g_f_o_r___?
will you? 我认为你今天无法完成工作, 是吗?

2.由从属连词 whether, if 引导的宾语从句
if/ whether “是否”,说明对陈述的事物不明确或不清 楚。常用在ask, wonder, can(could) you tell me 表示疑 问不确定意义的词之后;从句句意完整,不缺成分。 1.I want to knowi_f _(w__h_e_th__er_)__h_e_w_i_l_l _g_o_t_o_t_h_e
二、语序 宾语从句的语序用陈述语序: 连接词+主语+谓语+其他成分
主句+连接词+从句(主+谓+其他成分)
即:助动词不能放在主语前面。
1. When will he go to the library? His brother asks when he will go to the library . 2. What Байду номын сангаасid he want to buy ? I don’t know what he wanted to buy .

一、宾语从句的概念
从句在复合句中作宾语的名词性从句, 通常放在主句谓语动词(及物动词)或介词之后。
eg. We know Mr Green teaches English.
注:当从句的原句为以下句子 以及what, who作主语时,语序不变:
What’s wrong? What’s the matter? What’s happening? Who is over there?
Do you know what happened over there ?

注意:只能用 whether不能用 if 的情况
1. 在介词后面:
I’m thinking of whether we should go fishing.
注意:否定前移
若主句(主语为第一人称时)谓语动 词为think, guess,imagine, suppose,believe等其后的宾语从句若含 有否定意义,一般要把否定词转移到 主句谓语上,从句谓语用肯定式; 其反意疑问句,疑问从句。
I don't think this dress fits you well, does it? 我认为这件衣服不适合你穿,是吗? I don't think you are right,are you? 我认为你是错的,是吗? I don't believe you will finish the work today,
She asked if these answers were right.

(一)引导词
1 由从属连词 that 引导的宾语从句 2 由从属连词 whether, if 引导的宾语从句 3 由连接代词 who,whom,whose,which,what
1.Do you know __w__h_e_n__w_e_’_l_l_h_a_v_e__a__m_e_e_t_i?ng 2. Please tell me ___w_h_e_r_e__h_e__is_. 3.Can you tell me __h_o_w___I_c_a_n__g_e_t_t_o_t_h_e_ sta?tion 4.Could you tell me __w__h_y__t_h_e_t_r_a_in__i_s_l_a_te_?
They said they were playing games at this time yesterday.
3. 从句说明的是一般真理、客观事实、自然 现象时,仍用一般现在时。
