The city where I grew up is in the northeast of China, the coldest place in winter of China. The city is so small that you can walk across the whole city and villages around the city in 2 hours, But the small city has over fifty tall chimneys. And do you know how many boiler houses are there in the camp where I got birth? About 12 years ago, there were nine boiler horses in our life part which is only a kilometer radius.In January, 2008, I had a travel to Beijing. When I went out from the Beijing Station , I saw the sky of Beijing——a gray cover. I only went to the Forbidden City in the second day and spent other all time in the room during the whole traveling, because I was always coughing and sneezing when I went out of the room.Doctor said to me that I’d better to wear a mask when it is a polluted day. I have a habit ofrunning 20 rounds every day. But in this January, I had to stop it, because I usually got pain of my windpipe. We still live with serious pollution even if our government have published many laws to protect environment and limit the emission of factories and mines. So where is the haze from?Chai Jing showed people the answer. Pollution is born out of petroleum and coal, and indeed, we could have cleaned the petroleum and coal before burning them, and we also could have cleaned the emission after burning. But my friend who has his own car told me, the message people having personal cars focus on is which gas station they could get petroleum with better quality in. It means that the petroleum in gas stations have different quality in a same price. Perhaps some people would be happy because they could spend same money for better petroleum, but on the other hand, why do the petroleum in gas station have different quality? The government asked CNPC to provide people with better petroleum, because poor and dirty petroleum means more pollution and higher dissipation. So we have a question: why do they clean all of the petroleum around the country?In some people’s opinion, China has mastered the best technology of petrochemical industry. But do you understand how many Nature or Science did China University of Petroleum publish? In fact, CUP has no Nature or Science at all in 62 years since they built up their school in 1953. Best technology? What a force! With a lot of problems, the scientific development of Chinese petrochemical industry is limited. People have been arguing about this problem for a long time, but they still don’t work out a answer. What is to blame for the problem of Chinese petrochemical industry? Perhaps we are weak in petrochemical industry because of the funds. Our government invest in many petroleum projects to develop the petroleum industry, so we have enough funds in it. And anything else? Perhaps in scientific institutions. In fact scientific institutions’ inaction hasbeen bothering people for a long time. Students usually receive obsolete knowledge and technology from professors in some collages, because their professors pay more attention to performance than innovation of technology.Some scientists offered another way to solve the problem in petroleum sector, they rose the problem up to energy level. In their opinions, there should be a energy reformation recently, we should have a new pattern about energy business energy industry in this reformation. It brings a debate over if the reformation should be done.Energy is the found of every country’s daily operation. On the other hand, millions of people live on it. So some people believe that the reformation and transformation in energy must be prudent, and the energy of the whole country shouldn’t be controlled by any personal organization. In fact, Chinese energy has been controlled by government since the founding, and it has brought some problems, such as poor quality and more pollution. If energy industry must cace its reformation in the near future, how it will be reformed is the biggest question, because energy reformation is bound to influence whole country and society, and people still haven’t decided to have a reformation or a transformation. But it’s clear that it will chance a lot of lives and affect some people’s interest whatever it will be.But in March 12th, a official of Petro China, Wan Zhanxiang, published an article to refute Chai’s documentary. In his opinion, controlling and killing the dome of haze is only government’s duty, not Petro China’s, and Chai’s opinion the documentary is full of mistakes. But in fact, he only wanted to divert people’s attention. Unfortunately, he failed.But you will fail when you search Under the Dome on , there is only a locked discussion group you can’t land on it. What happened?Perhaps linking the official of Petro China’s opinion could tell us: the directors of petroleum Industry are bothered by the argument about haze, pollution, petroleum, energy and their interest. Could they control the energy especially petroleum of whole country just because their companies are state-owned enterprises?In fact I called my friends for trying to ask for some data about pollution especially petrochemical pollution after publishing of Chai Jing’s documentary. But they happened to coincide the same answer: the data you asked for is in confidential level, and the data has been published is usually a fake. So I failed.Who locked the data about pollution? Perhaps there is only one answer: our government. It means that our government doesn’t want us to understand how much pollutant we have inhaled. So how much a role does our government play in this farce named Dome of Pollution? Regretfully I haven’t worked out a clear answer.。

XX年1月份北京，一个月里头25天雾霾。

回头看视频里的天空，当时的中国正被卷入一场覆盖了25个省市和6亿人的大雾霾，但有我的嗓子有意向，在西安那天晚上咳得睡不着觉，我就切了一只柠檬放在枕头边上。
回到北京之后，我知道我怀孕了。
听到她的心跳的那一瞬间，我觉得我对她没有任何别的期望了——健康就好。
但是，她被诊断为良性肿瘤，在出生之后就要接受手术。
我还没有来得及抱她一下，她就被抱走的。
我是一个非常幸运的人，后来我辞职陪伴她、照顾她，只要一家人在一起平安就好、健康就好。
以前我从来没有对污染感到过害怕，去哪我都没戴过口罩。
现在有生命抱在你怀里，她呼吸、她吃、她喝，都要由你来负责，你才会感到害怕。

我是刚做大象公会不久知道她准备做雾霾调查的，当时没太在意，多少怀疑她是低估了这个选题难度的一时心血来潮，因为雾霾成因并无公论，媒体上专家们众说纷纭，而且涉及到大量枯燥数据资料，我也想不出向大众传播时该以什么方式来呈现。
因为这两个原因，虽然雾霾是个周期性的热门话题，但我还在做新闻时一直没有去触碰它。
去年夏天，意外得知她真是打算拍一部叫《雾霾》的纪录片，虽然刚辞职但已自费带着小团队做了很长时间，已完成了大量前期采访，她预计大概年底作品能出来。
我不怀疑柴静的勤奋，但很怀疑最后是什么效果，多少觉得她的野心太大了。

A lab test showed at least 15 cancer-causing matters were contained in the black paper, including Benzo[a]pyrene which was 14 times higher than the national standard (In Xiaoyi, the Benzo[a]pyrene was only nine times higher than the national standard).
