This RS485 interface is designed for half duplex operation. It is

isolated from the sy stem electronics and offers high-impedance

frame connection of the interface potential. All devices which

are connected to this bus must be connected in parallel at pins 1,

2 and 3.

For the last device, a jumper is additionally connected from pin 4

to pin 2 to terminate the bus with 120 ohm. Only twisted-pair

cables with shield may be used. The shield must be connected at

both ends. Conductor size max. 1.5 mm²

This CAN bus interface is designed for real-time communication

with the system management. The maximum baud rate equals 1

Mbit/s.

All real-time data can be exchanged here in a onemillisecond

cycle. Only twisted-pair cables with shield, specified for the CAN

bus (in accordance with ISO 11898) may be used. The integrated

120 ohm terminating resistor can be activated with the

DIP-switch.

Connection = SUB-D9 pins.
