英语演讲比赛获奖演讲稿精选范文(精选3篇)英语演讲比赛获奖演讲稿精选范文 篇1 In summer of 20xx, public officials in our province of Saskatchewan issued a decree: that allaffected people leave their homes and in mass exodus, travel to places of refuge where theycould be safe and accounted for. They were escaping blazing forest fires of epic proportions. It was the largest evacuation in Saskatchewan history. Thousands of people were on the move, all of them in uncertain circumstances, not knowinghow quickly they would return home. For a few young women, these circumstances had an added dimension of uncertainty. Theywere in the late stages of pregnancy. These young women were living as displaced persons far from home, without the supplies theyhad gathered for their new baby. Thankfully, for all concerned, healthy babies were delivered in hospitals close by with medicalstaff to give assistance. We are privileged to live in a province where people come together. That can be difficult whenstress levels are high. And so I salute the evacuees, and the firefighters, and the troops, and the Red Cross, and thelocal officials, the mayors and chiefs. Those who shared money, food and supplies, those who prayed for an ending to this situation. All rose to the occasion. Two thousand years ago, a public official named Caesar Augustus issued a decree that all peopleneeded to be accounted for. Itaffected the entire Roman world. Everyone needed to beregistered. Many people were on the move, with primitive travel arrangements, not knowing how long thiswould take. I'm sure for some young women, this circumstance had an added dimension of uncertainty.Like being in the late stages of pregnancy. For one of these young women, the time came to have her baby, her first. Not in a local hospitalalong the way, not even in a clean, comfortable Holiday Inn, but in a stable, with precious fewamenities. Her only assistant, a most likely very, very nervous husband, with perhaps some curiousanimals looking on. She didn't have much for supplies either. All she had were a few strips of cloth to wrap him in.And all she could lay him in was not a cradle made by her carpenter husband, but just asimple, dirty manger. Crude surroundings for a King. His first visitors – an adoring group in from the fields smellingstrongly of sheep. They were alerted by a type of atmospheric media unlike any we couldimagine. All rose to the occasion. This Christmas, we celebrate the arrival of that very special baby boy. The "Divinest Heart thatever walked the earth was born on that day" as it has been said. His name is Jesus, the essence of hope and peace and the ultimate example of self-sacrificefor love. So from me and my wife Tami, and our family, and on behalf of my colleagues in theGovernment of Saskatchewan: "May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope; thespirit of Christmas which is peace; and the heart of Christmas which is love." And may you spread joy to others who need it most. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!英语演讲比赛获奖演讲稿精选范文 篇2 还是在儿时,我的老师就在我的心中播下了一颗种子,一颗对“教师”这一职业期望的种子。

英语口语大赛演讲稿(推荐18篇)篇1:英语口语大赛演讲稿ladies and gentleman, good evening!it's my great honor to present this speech today.my name is peace and i am from class 1 of teaching chinese as a foreign language. my topic today is “living at present is my top concern”。

we've often heard the famous words;“yesterday ishistory, tomorrow is mistery, but today is a gift, that's why it'scalled 'present' ”.indeed, rich or poor, every one is endowed withthis most precious gift .only by treasuring it and living to our fullest potential in the present, can we project our way forward to a bright and rewarding future.living at present requires a positive attitude to confrontlife;it's having the wisdom to spend our life’s resources engaging in the most productive affairs; it's directing our time and energy towards the most efficient way to achieve a promising future! by living at present, we'll have more time and energy to focus on our goals and make a diffference to whatever our current task may be. furthermore,, it's learning from the past instead of unnecessarily carrying heavy burdens from yesterday, and planing our future to wisely prepare for it instead of being impatient or restless . if we drawn, or let ourselves be overcome by yesterday's memories or strong feelings , how can we be observant enough to focus on things going on around us? if we are into dreaming or unnecessary concern for tomorrow,,how can we prepare well for the exciting upcoming future? that is why living at present is my top concern.living at present demands the courage to throw away useless encumbrances of the past , to accept what is unchangeable, to changewhat is chnageable, and to learn from the past which should be a lesson. ,instead of an obstacle.living at present also requires the wisdom to concentrate on the present ,preparing for the future and courageously displaying the patience to wait for tomorrow.over a long period of time, taking care of my little brother and making money at university push me too hard ,and i was so exhausted and anxious that i couldn't even sleep though my sleeping time is extremely limited.eventually, i came to realize that i must lay off the mental burdens like worries from the past and concerns for the future and live at present. i need just to realise that i am on my way to my destination.; because i now know, that my top concern is “living at present ”!篇2:英语口语大赛演讲稿Today is an excellent day for small improvements. I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . I want to be a doctor . I want to be a teacher . and I ;d like to be a scientist ! Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it;s hard work , and I ;ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I;ll keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there ;s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships . Even if I won;t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .全国大学生英语演讲比赛演讲稿篇二Ladies and gentlemen,I#39;m Choco,from14CPA Canada.I#39;m here today not just for winning the speech contest, which is amazing enough, but more importantly, the topic fascinates me so much.As a member of AIESEC,an international organization for university students famous for global citizen program,I#39;m proud to help lots of students go out of their countries to be global volunteers,to make friends with peers all around the world,to experience other culture,to make a little change in local society, above all,to develop a sense of global citizenship. We all have firm belief that there shouldn#39;t be walls between occur because people know little about each other, misunderstand each other. If human society has a bright future in peace, there have to be more people with the sense of global citizenship,to share the natural rights together and take responsibility together. Because this is one minute for self-introduction,I just briefly introduce myself in this way: I am a global citizen.China is my bedroom where I usually live, the world is my real home.【Main part】I#39;d like to use the answers to three questions, which is what, why and how, to deliver my speech today.First of all, what are global citizens? We are people who place our indentities with global community above our identities of a particular nation. In other words,we are not abandoning our nationalities or our hometowns, but we have stronger belongings to the globe. We are concerned about every global issue, never less than those in our own countries. There comes the second question. Many people will ask: Why do you feel like that? Why do you think more people should feel like that? Let#39;s look through human#39;s history and there lies the answer. From then to now,it#39;s not difficult to find out that most civilizations have more things in common than differences. We all develop languages, complicated social structures,art,science,commerce,philosophy...Undeniably,we did have wars, but it turned out that there were no winners or losers. We all sufferedfromthe same pain.Families died in battlefield, and houses were detroyed in shells. While in peace, all of us enjoy safe environment and economic growth. Our histories are linked, and so is our future. Everyone of us desires being well off, democracy, cultural prosperity, clean air and water. We all hope that our kids can grow up safeand sound,don#39;t we? Since we share the same feelings, the same hope, humankind is essentially one.If you think that#39;s too big.Let#39;s come down to current globalization is the trendthat no one can stop.Investment comesfromevery corner of the world, and different markets are tightly is needed if everyone wants to live better ,issues of global level are more noticable than before:climate change, financial crisis,women#39;s right,children#39;s health...Without the sense of global citizenship, no one is willing to sit down and settle down the problems together. Now move to the last question: how to become a global citizen? As a saying goes:To see,to understand, then to of my friendin AIESEC went to Karachi,Pakistan this had she thought that she could see a MacDonald restaurant and hear songs of Taylor Swift right after getting off the plane. What she saw was people living their normal life in the so-called City of Death.Adults going to work, students going to school, just like what we#39;re doing here, although a bullet may fly above their heads the next second. She was also impressed by youngsters in Pakistan, who showed courage, faith and confidence to create a bright future for their just panic and depress can survive there as the news reports, but also the seed of hope is sprouting.Another friendof mine in AIESEC isfromIndia. His name is Kunal, and he regards himself as a global citizen. He joined AIESEC in India, where he met his lifelong lover,a blonde Russian girl in a local project. When he went to the university of Copenhagen,he joined the AIESEC committee there as ,he is in Canada, running another AIESEC project called Green Power Now,giving advice to the government about environmental protection.Young people like Kunal are changing the world now, with their experience, ability, ambition and the name of global citizens. My speech is almost finished according to the three questions, but traditionally, speakers have to quote something so today I#39;d like quote a song by John Lennon. The name is Imagine. 大学生英语演讲稿篇三a scene to remembergu qiubeishanghai international studies universityadvisor: gong longshenggood afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. today i would like to begin with a story.there was once a physical 1) therapist who traveled all the way from america to africa to do a 2) census about mountain 3) gorillas. these gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of 4) poaching and being put into the zoo. she went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. she witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imaged we've ever been, where in the very depth of the african rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas 5) cuddled their babies.yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called gorillas in the mist, based on a true story of mrs. dian fossey, who spent most of bet lifetime in rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.to me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a 6) timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our ecoenvironment.today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. on the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go. it has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in gdp growth.it has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. but on the other hand, many problems can occur---natural scenes aren't natural anymore. deforestation to heat lodges is devastating nepal. oil spills from tourist boats are polluting antarctica. tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to u2 on walkman and wear nike and reeboks.all these 7) appalling(令人震惊的) facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been 8) eroding(侵蚀) our resources. encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the united nations has made 20xx the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment.now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations an: receiving donations--big notes, small notes or even coins--from housewives, 9) plumbers(水管工人), ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and 10) invalids(残疾人), some of them can not afford to send the money but they do. these are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood. why? because they care. because they still want their mother nature back. because they know it still belongs to them.this kind of feeling that i have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it, and looks like it, it's all coming from a scene to remember, a scene to recall and to cherish.the other night, as l saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs. i found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to some- thing else, someplace else. a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seem to have been except the deer.and all those unforgettable scenes strengthened the feeling that it's lime for us to do something, for our own and our coming generation.once again, i have come to think of mrs. dian fossey be- cause it's with her spirit, passion, courage and strong sense of our ecoenvironment that we are taking our next step into the world.and no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our mind, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.thank you very much.大学生英语2分钟演讲稿篇四I love the school,if say my childhood like a string of shells, then I think the life of the school in the xxx is one of the most beautiful one.I have learned a man I love the school and learned a lot of knowledge,I am here to grow up happily.I love the warmth of the big collective, united as one love it,love its elegant environment, love its rich variety of activities.School students to participate in organized competition, students are encouraged to register; clean up the campus health,we are all hands-on; the establishment of xxx tra-curricular groups, everyone fighting over who gets to participate. So one thing left me with an indelible impression. Also remember that it was New Years party in 20xxx,when Classroom layout looks xxx tremely beautiful! Right before I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channels we had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what to watch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting" programme... If wecould agree what that was. However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV, there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options reveals an important change in our life: the abundance of choice.Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one colour. Today, we select from a wide variety of designs and shades.Fifteen years ago, we read few newspapers. Today, we read English newspapers like the China Daily and the 21st Century, as well as various Chinese newspapers.Fifteen years ago, English majors took only courses in language and literature. Today, we also study Western culture, journalism, business communications, international relations, and computer science. The emergence of choices marks the beginning of a new era in China's history; an era of diversity, of material and cultural richness, and an era of the rebirth of the Chinese nation. We enjoy the abundance of choice. But this has not come easily.About 150 years ago, China was forced to open up its door by Western canons and gunboats. It has been through the struggle and sacrifice of generations that we finally have gained the opportunity to choose for ourselves. The policy of reform and openness is the choice that has made all the difference.Like others of my age, I'm too young to have experienced the time when the Chinese people had no right to choose. However, as the next century draws near, it is time to ask: What does choice really mean to us young people? Is choice a game that relies on chance or luck? Is choice an empty promise that never materializes? Or is choice a puzzle so difficult that we have to avoid it?First, I would like to say: To choose means to claim opportunities.I am a third-year English major. An important choice for me, of course, is what to do upon graduation. I can go to graduate school, at home or abroad. I can go to work as a teacher, a translator, a journalist, an editor and a diplomat. Actually, the system of mutual selection has allowed me to approach almost every career opportunity in China.Indeed, this is not going to be an easy choice. I would love to work in such big cities as Beijing or Shanghai or Shenzhen. I would also love to return to my hometown, which is intimate, though slightly lagging in development. I would love to stay in the coastal area where life is exciting and fast-paced. I would also love to put down roots in central and western China, which is underdeveloped, but holds great potential. All of these sound good. But they are only possibilities. To those of us who are bewildered at the abundance of opportunities, I would like to say: To choose means to accept challenge. To us young people, challenge often emerges in the form of competition. In the next century, competition will not only come from other college graduates, but also from people of all ages and of all origins. With increasing international exchanges, we have to face growing competition from the whole outside world. This is calling for a higher level of our personal development.Fifteen years ago, the knowledge of a foreign language or of computer operation was considered merely an advantage. But today, with wider educational opportunities, this same knowledge has become essential to everyone.Given this situation, even our smallest choices will require great wisdom and personal determination. As we gain more initiative in choice making, the consequence of each choice also becomes more important. As we gain more initiative in choice making, the consequence of each choice also becomes more important.Nuclear power, for instance, may improve our quality of life. But it can also be used to damage the lives and possessions of millions.Economic development has enriched our lives but brought with it serious harm to our air, water and health. To those of us who are blind to the consequences of their choices, I would like to say, To choose means to take responsibility. When we are making choices for ourselves, we cannot casually say: "It's just my own business. " As policy makers of the next century, we cannot fail to see our responsibility to those who share the earth with us.The traditional Chinese culture teaches us to study hard and work hard so as to honor our family. To me, however, this family is not just the five of us who quarreled over television programmes. Rather, it is the whole of the human family. As I am making my choices, I will not forget the smile of my teacher when I correctly spelled out the word "China" for the first time, I will not forget the happy faces of the boys and girls we helped to send back to school in the mountains of Jiangxi Province. I will not forget the tearful eyes of women and children in Bosnia, Chechnya and Somali, where millions are suffering from war, famine or poverty. All these people, known and unknown, make up our big human family. At different points, they came into my life and broaden my perspective. Now as I am to make choices for myself, it is time to make efforts to improve their lives, because a world will benefit us all only if every one in it can lead a peaceful and prosperous life.

I am a Howell School’s girl and I am an outgoing girl too, so I like playing jokes with others.I am fourteen years old and I have learnt English for six years now I’ve loved English since the first time, I’ve heard it from a tape. The voice from the tape was very wonderful and the language was so nice .That time I thought, how wonderful the language is! And if I can speak English as well as the speaker in the tape, that will be amazing! So I asked my mum:“Can I learn English I really love it!” “Of course you can,but are you sure about it Can you insist on it” She was a bit excited. “Of course I can, mum. I love it very much,I want to learn it. ”I said confidently,“Oh,my good kid,you are very good,I am so excited about you are interested in English. ”Shegave me a sweet hug. We laughed together. Then,I’ve started my English learning way.At the beginning,I loved English because it soundscomfortable ,but I can’t believe that how difficult to learn English grammar. Then I felt tired, and I really want to give it up. Buton that main time,my English teacher found me was a bit strange,“What wrong with you,ViritaYou look a bit strange.” “Nothing, I just think English grammar is so difficult. It is boring,I don’t want to learn it anymore!” “WhyYou can’t give it up,Virita. I can help you just trust me.”“Really” “Of course!” Then she helped me with my English grammar after class everyday. She told me how to find a good way for my own to learn English grammar. How to find a good way to remember the English new words. She told me try to love English! Interests is the best teacher! So my English marks improve very fast. And in the finally exam,I got the best marks at school. I was so happy .But my English teacher warned me again “Don’t be proud of it. Hasty climbers have the sudden falls. You should come on!”I also like watching Holly Wood movies, for example, The Green Man in the Avengers is very strong and V in V of vendetta is very cool. Most of actors and actresses speak English in the film, and I really want to understand the whole meaning about a film without any caption one day. Itis difficult for me to make it come true. I should work harder.English is a very beautiful language .And itis my friend,a real friend. Although I can’t feel it with my hands, but I can feel it with my heart. English brought me a lot and I have a big dream about English. To make it come true ,I should work harder and learn more Western culture. We’ll love each other more and more. This is the story with English and me.Thanks for listening.英语比赛演讲稿4Dear friends:If you can dream it, you can do it.——Walt DisneyIt was a long four years. Even after I had actually graduated, the nightmares began to haunt me, the university would call to say I hadn’t truly graduated. There had been a mistake and there was just one more class I needed to take. I was always so relieved to wake up and realize that it had only been a bad dream. In reality, I had completed every course needed for my degree, and I was a full-fledged college graduate! Now, the rest of my life loomed ahead of me. Sometimes abachelor’s degree prepares you for a specific occupation——youtrain to be an accountant, you graduate and get a position in an accounting firm. Often, however, your stint in college only prepares you to make further decisions regarding your future. You’re pretty sure what you don’t want to do!During my senior year of college, I had toyed with the idea of changing my major. At that point, I had finally discovered what captured my heart. But, wanting to finally be finishing school was a stronger pull. So, I took a few courses in physiology and exercise science, but not enough to receive a degree in physical therapy. That would require advanced schooling, beyond my bachelor’s degree——and I just wasn’tready to tackle that. Having completed my B.C. degree, I didn’t have any intentions of furthering my education. So, I did the safe thing and got an office job——the very thing I was sure that I didn’t want to do! I detested the office policies, the suits I had to wear and the downtown environment that I had to drive to every day. I knew this was not where I belonged. But god knew what path my career was to follow. A position opened up at the most exclusive health club in our city, so I applied. This was my kind of environment——an active, vibrant kind of place——completely at the opposite end of the spectrum from the office environment where I found myself. The position required that I work Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Perfect, I thought! I could keep my office job Monday through Friday and work at my dream job on the weekends. This arrangement lasted several months until, eventually, a full-time position opened up and I was able to resign from my office job.Over the next few years, I worked my way up the leader, gaining experience in several different departments. I found my niche as the director of member services——catering to our clientele and providing them with numerous cutting-edge programs. I would have stayed at that job forever——it seemed to be the pinnacle of all my dreams fulfilled. Here were fellow employees who had a passion for the same things that I did——health and fitness. Yet again, god had other plans for my life.Within two years, a newer, bigger, better and more state-of-the-art health club facility was built——just five miles down the road. And, in turn, the owner lost many members tothat club. And, in turn, the owner lost thousands of dollars. One by one we were each laid off. After trying unsuccessfully to land another similar position elsewhere, I knew what I had to do. Go back to school!thanks!英语比赛演讲稿5Dear teachers and mates:We are in a constant state of trying to get something better and different. We are often trying to be someone different, even when the current us is pretty decent. If you are not happy being you, then who else can you be In each person s life, will meet a lot of individual who will impacted themselves. Some people teach you a lot of things. Some may give you a lot of encouragement As for me there are also some people inspired me.But the most great impact was my dear father. When I was a little girl,I often want to give up study instead play games. Then my father will told me Perseverance is the golden key to being successful in anything you do.It s a matter of hanging on long afte others have quit .When I was a teenager I like to make track for a star, and like images like, including dress etc. Then my Dad alwaystell me that Be what you are, not what you aren t,because when youare what you aren t,then you aren t what you are .All of the things are inspired me so much.Sometimes,I think my father was a philosopher, sometimes think he is a activists, always set an example for his child ,do what a father should do.He is always working hard to feed large family, he isalways considerate to forgive his naughty children, moreover he filial piety to the old person,to repay parents brought up. In a word, he always so good.Of course he s not a iron man,he also has a fragile, but he never lose self, and perseverance. What s more, when I meet with sometroubles and want to give up, he always encourage me.I still remember what he told me perseverance overcomes almost everything. When you fall, perseverance tells you get up.When you aredefeated, perseverance tells you to try again .When you feel like quitting, perseverance doesn t let you .Nowadays, I am an adults, and as a college student,I always unavoidably depending on my father, I often call to my father to ask some questions, meanwhile I also want to know how are they recently I start my college life followed with my fathers edification.Because of my dear father,I know how important to be myself.I have to be true to myself, because the only important thing in life is what you do with the time on spend here in earth. So I ll always be optimistic and happy in the following time. Also,as my father told me,just be perseverance to do everything. So that I can do anything I wish to create my future!Father is like a lighthouse, guide me in the direction of the future.I hope I could owning a wonderful future, and my father will company with me forever!thanks!英语比赛演讲稿范文。

英语演讲比赛演讲稿(8篇)this is no surprise though if you look at the insights of contemporary psychology. it turns out that we cant even be in a group of people without instinctively mirroring, mimicking their opinions. even about seemingly personal and visceral things like who youre attracted to, you will start aping the beliefs of the people around you without even realizing that thats what youre doing. and groups famously follow the opinions of the most dominant or charismatic person in the room, even though theres zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas -- i mean zero. so ... (laughter) you might be following the person with the best ideas, but you might not. and do you really want to leave it up to chance? much better for everybody to go off by themselves, generate their own ideas freed from the distortions of group dynamics, and then come together as a team to talk them throughin a well-managed environment and take it from there.now if all this is true, then why are we getting it so wrong? why are we setting up our schools this way and our workplaces? and why are we making these introverts feel so guilty about wanting tojust go off by themselves some of the time? one answer lies deep in our cultural history. western societies, and in particular the u.s., have always favored the man of action over the man of contemplation and “man“ of contemplation. but in americas early days, we lived in what historians call a culture of character, where we still, at that point, valued people for their inner selves and their moral rectitude. and if you look at the self-help books from this era, they all had titles with things like “character, the grandest thing in the world.“ and they featured role models like abraham lincoln who was praised for being modest and unassuming. ralph waldo emerson called him “a man who does not offend by superiority.“but then we hit the 20th century and we entered a new culture that historians call the culture of personality. what happened is we had evolved an agricultural economy to a world of big business. and so suddenly people are moving from small towns to the cities. and instead of working alongside people theyve known all their lives, now they are having to prove themselves in a crowd of strangers. so, quite understandably, qualities like magnetism and charisma suddenly come to seem really important. and sure enough, theself-help books change to meet these new needs and they start to have names like “how to win friends and influence people.“ and they feature as their role models really great salesmen. so thats the world were living in today. thats our cultural inheritance. 英语演讲竞赛经典优秀演讲稿篇五英语演讲竞赛即兴演讲篇六英语演讲大赛英文篇七good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! The poet said: spring flowers to the door pushed open.I said:Thanksgiving to the door pushed open the living. Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However,we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well asordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of f→.←uture. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go,life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.Thank you!。

英语演讲比赛演讲稿(精选多篇)1. The Power of DreamsGood afternoon, esteemed judges, teachers, and fellow students. When we are young, we dream of becoming superheroes, astronauts, and rock stars. As we grow older, we may start to believe that those dreams are out of reach. But I am here to tell you that with determination and hard work, anything is possible. My dream is to become a doctor. It is a long and challenging path, but I am determined to see it through. I have spent countless hours studying, volunteering at hospitals, and working to save money for my education. But my dream is not just about me. It is about making a difference in the world. As a doctor, I will have the power to heal and comfort those who are suffering. I can help to make the world a better place, one patient at a time.I believe that we all have dreams that are just as powerful and important as mine. Maybe your dream is to be a teacher, a scientist, or a social worker. Whatever it is, I urge you to hold on to that dream and work towards it with everything you have.Because the power of dreams is not just in achieving them, but in the journey we take to get there. We learn and grow in ways we never thought possible, and we inspire others to pursue their own dreams. So I challenge you today, my fellow students, to think about your own dreams. What do you want to achieve in this life? And what are you doing right now to make it a reality?Believe in yourself, work hard, and never give up on your dreams. They have the power to change the world.Thank you.2. The Importance of Taking ActionGood afternoon, esteemed judges, teachers, and fellow students. We all have ideas and dreams for our lives, but there is a key ingredient that is vital in turning those ideas into reality: taking action. It is easy to get caught up in the safety of our comfort zones, and to feel paralyzed by the fear of failure or the unknown. But the truth is, nothing will ever be accomplished unless we take action. Think about some of the greatest innovators and leaders in history. They did not accomplish their feats by sitting on their hands and hoping for success. They took risks, they went outside of their comfort zones, and they pushed through any obstacles in their way.But taking action doesn’t mean that we hav e to suddenly jump off a cliff and hope for the best. It simply means that we take small, measurable steps towards our goals every day. It means that we are intentional about our priorities and are willing to do whatever ittakes to make progress. For example, if your dream is to become an artist, start by practicing your craft every day. Create a portfolio of your work, network with other artists, and put yourself out there. If you want to be a writer, start writing every day, and submit your work to publications or start a blog.Whatever it is, take steps towards it every day. Believe in yourself, surround yourself with positive influences, and never give up on your dreams. In conclusion, I encourage you to take action towards your goals and dreams today. You are capable of achieving great things if you are willing to take the first step.Thank you.3. The Power of KindnessGood afternoon, esteemed judges, teachers, and fellow students. In a world that often seems divided and angry, it can be easy to lose sight of the power of kindness. But I am here to remind you that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a huge impact in the world around us.Kindness is not just a feel-good sentiment; it is a powerful force that can transform lives. A simple smile or a kind word can make all the difference to someone who is struggling. It can brightentheir mood, their day, and even their entire outlook on life. But the benefits of kindness extend far beyond those who receive it. Showing kindness can improve our own mental health, reduce stress, and even boost our immune system. So I encourage you, my fellow students, to cultivate kindness in your daily lives. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture; it can be as simple as holding the door open for someone, complimenting a classmate, or volunteering your time to help those in need. And kindness is not just for our friends and loved ones. It is for everyone, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions. We are all human, and we all deserve compassion and kindness. In conclusion, I urge you to make kindness a priority in your life. Through small and simple acts of kindness, we can create a ripple effect that spreads throughout our communities and makes the world a better place.Thank you.。

优秀英语比赛演讲稿范文(推荐12篇)优秀英语比赛演讲稿范文(推荐12篇)优秀英语比赛演讲稿范文篇1Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen,By the time we are born onto this land, our own Chinese story begins. Only when we put our stories together, can we discover something new.My mom was among the first generation in China to pick up a dual major, trade together with English. Her mom, my grandma, was a professor at the same college. And now, I am following my family’s footsteps, at the same university. I want to plish a dream that has been passed on for three generations. When grandma entered college, she was in the age of prime, but education wasn’t. It was an age when China had a literacy of merely over 50 percent; it was an age when one out of eight got enrolled by a university or college; it was an age when even the top-class universities in China were not recognized by the world. It was with the aspiration of changing education for the better that my grandma became a teacher, in pursuit of teaching students at home and learning more about the abroad. When my mother crossed the threshold of higher education into college, she was experiencing the tides of the Reform and Opening-up. Itwas an age when China was ready to embrace the world. With the demand for English talents staying high, she brought her talents to the field of international trade, with the hope of broadening her horizon and telling her international clients a Chinese story.30 years later, it is already a new era when I step into the classroom where my mom and my grandma studied. The ambience in the renovated classroom is urging me to embark on a new journey; yet on the bookshelf, the books passed on since my grandma’s age is reminding me of a dream that has never changed: ing a language scholar with a global vision, and be a good narrator of the Chinese story. It was the moment when I realized that there has been something unchanged in the new era: that is always equipping ourselves with the new ideas and keep in pace with the time which never waits. Only by bearing this virtue in our minds that has inherited by the Chinese people for 5,000 years, can we gain both the confidence and the petence in telling a good Chinese story to all.Tell the Chinese story to the Chinese people, for a new China with cultural confidence; tell the Chinese story to every global citizen, and together we build a munity of prosperity, peace, and a shared future. The story of my mom, my grandma and myself will always remind me of the mission of a language learner.I’m now crossing the threshold into a New Era, and now I fell I amready to tell a new Chinese story to new audience. Thank you very much! 优秀英语比赛演讲稿范文篇2whether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same.the atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from thecradle to the grave. they may care about their illustrious names after death;they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never laytheir hopes on their afterlife. they may also say that good will be rewardedwith good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution intheir after life.however, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, thebelief in afterlife is very popular. they do not only believe in afterlife, butthousands of reincarnations as well. in the mysterious world, there are theparadise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the buddha and thebodhisattvas.maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use ofpeople's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were thereal dragons, the sons of god, while the royal ministers claimed to be thereincarnations of various constellations. but can the stars reincarnate?优秀英语比赛演讲稿范文篇3The struggle of the youth is the most beautiful奋斗的青春最美丽Friends, do you know what is meant by life? 英语比赛演讲稿15篇英语比赛演讲稿1On March 14th, 20某某, professor Stephen William Hawking passed away. His contribution to inflationary cosmology has forever shifted our understanding of the universe. He wasn’t just a physicist for England, but for all mankind. His death marks the end of an era. He has passed the baton to a new generation of minds, to a new era. The exploration of nature waits for no man. So, are we ready to embrace the new era and new challenges? When I was a kid, professor Hawking was known to me as the author of A Brief History of Time. I bought a lot of science books back then, but they were really difficult to understand. Whenever I stumbled, I would turn to my physics teacher for help. We would go through pages and pages of materials together, whether it was middle school stuff or Feynman’s lecture from Caltech, sometimes hours on end. I felt like we were tearing off the mask of nature and staring at the face of god. It was his guidance that encouraged me to study physics today. We’re living in an era in which s cience is embedded in people’s lives. From teachers who pass on knowledge, to construction workers who build labs; from organizations that provide funding, to scientists who conduct research, we all contribute to science in our own unique ways. We the peop le say we’re ready. On October 5th, 20某某, China finally had its first Nobel Prize in natural science. Ms. Tu Youyou’s work and her receiving the most prestigious science award made us proud. We’re living in an era in which China is building some of the best research projects and institutions worldwide. Just a month ago, Professor Zhang Miman won the UNESCO for Women in Science Award, making her the fifth Chineserecipient of this honor. A week after that, The Economist referred to China as “a continent-sized rapidly growing economy with a culture of scientific inquiry”. Physicist and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Science, Dr. Zhang Jie stated, “China now has the most accurate, sufficient and largest amount of data; China has the highest, fastest and best ability of data analysis. The Chinese government will be strongly pushing for the sharing and utilization of data resources.” We as a country say we’re ready.Science is an immortal topic of mankind. We’ve come this far because we’ve lear ned to work together and let the ideas evolve. The dispute over the completeness of quantum mechanics, for example, was resolved in the 5th Solvay conference, attended by 29 physicists from 10 different countries who have won 15 Nobel Prizes combined. That was almost 100 years ago. Now we’re living in an era in which information is transmitted at the speed of light, in which “International cooperation” is not just a slogan anymore, especially to the scientific community. Chinese Academy of Science now has 47 partners overseas. The International Council for Science now includes 122 national members, 23 scientific associates and 31 scientific unions. The facilities of the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, are available to over 600 universities and institutes around the globe. We, the world, are more than ready. We’re all made of particles that have existed since the beginning of the universe, I’d like to believe those particles traveled through countless eras to create us, so that we, the people, China, and the world, can stand on the shoulders of giants, marchinto the new era with our head held high, and make people like Professor Hawking proud.英语比赛演讲稿2I believe it is in my nature to dance by virtue of the beat of my heart, the pulse of my blood and the music in my mind. So I dance daily. The seldom-used dining room of my house is now an often-used ballroom — anopen space with a hardwood floor, stereo, and a disco ball. The CD-changer hassix discs at the ready: waltz, swing, country, rock-and-roll, salsa, andtango. Each morning when I walk through the house on the way to make coffee, Iturn on the music, hit the "shuffle" button, and it's Dance Time! I dance aloneto whatever is playing. It's a form of existential aerobics, a movingmeditation.Tango is a recent enthusiasm. It's a complex and difficult dance, so I'm upto three lessons a week, three nights out dancing, and I'm off to Buenos Airesfor three months of immersion in tango culture. The first time I went tango dancing I was too intimidated to get out on thefloor. I remembered another time I had stayed on the sidelines, when the dancingbegan after a village wedding on the Greek island of Crete. The fancy footworkconfused me. "Don't make a fool of yourself," I thought. "Just watch."Reading my mind, an older woman dropped out of the dance, sat down besideme, and said, "If you join the dancing, you will feel foolish. If you do not,you will also feel foolish. So, why not dance?"And, she said she had a secret for me. She whispered, "If you do not dance,we will know you are a fool. But if you dance, we willthink well of you fortrying."Recalling her wise words, I took up the challenge of tango.A friend asked me if my tango-mania wasn't a little ambitious. "Tango? Atyour age? You must be out of your mind!"On the contrary: It's a deeply pondered decision. My passion for tangodisguises a fearfulness. I fear the shrinking of life that goes with aging. Ifear the boredom that comes with not learning and not taking chances. I fear thedying that goes on inside you when you leave the game of life to wait in thefinal checkout line.I seek the sharp, scary pleasure that comes from beginning something new —that calls on all my resources and challenges my mind, my body, and my spirit, all at once.My goal now is to dance all the dances as long as I can, and then to sitdown contented after the last elegant tango some sweet night and pass on becausethere wasn't another dance left in me.So, when people say, "Tango? 英语角英语演讲比赛演讲稿三篇演讲稿一:The Power of DreamsGood morning, everyone. Today I want to talk to you about the power of dreams. We all have dreams, big or small, and they are what keep us motivated and driven to achieve our goals. Dreams give us hope and purpose, and they are what make life worth living.I believe that dreams have the power to change the world. Look at all the great inventions and discoveries that have been made throughout history. They all started as someone’s dream. The Wright brothers dreamed of flying, and now we can travel to any part of the world in a matter of hours. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream of equality and justice, and his dream inspired a movement that changed the course of history. But dreams are not just for the extraordinary. They are for everyone. Whether it’s a dream of starting your own business, traveling the world, or simply being happy, your dreams are valid and important. They are what push us to be the best version of ourselves and to make a positive impact on the world around us.So, I urge you to never give up on your dreams. No matter how big or how impossible they may seem, they are worth pursuing. Take small steps every day to bring your dreams closer to reality. Surround yourself with people who believe in your dreams and support you in achieving them. And most importantly, believe in yourself and your abilities to make your dreams come true.In conclusion, I want to leave you with a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beautyof their dreams.” So, let’s dream big, work hard, and make the world a better place.Thank you.演讲稿二:The Importance of EducationGood afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today, I want to talk to you about the importance of education. Education is the key to unlocking our full potential and achieving our dreams. It is the foundation of a successful and fulfilling life.Education is not just about getting good grades or landing a high-paying job. It is about gaining knowledge, developing critical thinking skills, and becoming a well-rounded individual. Education opens doors to new opportunities and experiences, and it empowers us to make informed decisions and contribute positively to society.Unfortunately, not everyone has access to quality education. Many children around the world are denied the opportunity to go to school due to poverty, discrimination, or conflict. This not only deprives them of their right to learn, but it also hinders their potential to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future for themselves and their communities. As privileged individuals who have had the opportunity to receive a good education, it is our responsibility to advocate for equal access to education for all. We must support initiatives that aim to improve the quality of education, increase enrollment rates, and provide educational resources to those in need. By doing so, we can help create a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone has the chance to thrive. In conclusion, I urge you to never take education for granted. It is a privilege that many are denied, and we must use it to better ourselves and make a positive impact on the world. Let’s continue to learn, grow, and advocate for education as a fundamental human right.Thank you.演讲稿三:The Impact of Technology on SocietyGood evening, everyone. Today, I want to discuss the impact of technology on society. Technology has revolutionized the way we live, work, and communicate, and it continues to shape the world in both positive and negative ways.On the positive side, technology has made our lives more convenient and efficient. We can connect with people from all over the world, access a wealth of information at our fingertips, and accomplish tasks in a fraction of the time it used to take. Medical technology has also made significant strides in improving healthcare and saving lives. We now have the ability to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases that were once considered incurable. However, the rapid advancement of technology has also brought about new challenges and concerns. For example, the rise of social media has led to issues such as cyberbullying, misinformation, and addiction. The automation of jobs has raised fears of unemployment and economic inequality. And the proliferation of surveillance technology has raised concerns about privacy and government overreach. As we continue to embrace and develop new technologies, it is crucial that we consider the ethical and social implications of theseadvancements. We must strive to create a balance between innovation and responsibility, ensuring that technology serves the greater good and does not harm individuals or society as a whole. In conclusion, I believe that technology has the potential to bring about positive change and improve our lives in countless ways. However, we must approach it with caution and mindfulness, always considering its impact on society and the world at large. Let’s work together to harness the power of technology for the greater good and create a future that benefits us all.Thank you.。

Im very glad to be here to have a speech. The topic of my speech is the spirit of sports. As far as Im concerned, Im a sheer amateur of sports, being fascinated by swimming, running, mountaineering and so on. I couldnt agree with these perspectives from people who dislike sports, because youll feel greatly relieved after being drenched in sweats by sports. Sports can also help you forget your worries and stress, feeling unprecedented relaxed. As is known, a healthy body is extraordinarily crucial. Moreover physical exercise undeniably exerts a far-reaching influence on keeping ourselves fit. In taking part in out-door sports, we are closer to nature and can take in fresh air. The beauty of nature will keep us clear-headed, which is essential to our health. Besides sports can stimulate the circulation of blood and help to excrete the wastes in the body. It also can work up our appetite and activate or digestion. In a word, sports can give rise to a strong body for us.In contemporary society, with the increasing focus on health, people in ever expanding numbers join the trend of doing sports and begin to accept more and more sorts of fashionable sports, ranging from hiking to diving. From this phenomenon, we can see not only do sports play a significant role in health, but also lay a solidfoundation for human beings spirit.Taking hiking for example, its a blend of man and nature completely way to travel, and also a kind of sports that not only need your physical strength, but also need the patience, perseverance and persistence. At the beginning of climbing a mountain, youll be exciting with the fantastic scene of mountain, river and water. However, after a half way, youll fell so tired and exhausted. The climbing road becomes more and more steep. At that time, it requires your persistence and determination to conquer arduous situations. It just likes the life, the closer the success is, the more difficulties you must endure. From my aspects, the enchantment of sports is that its a challenge for the limit of your body --- both a sort of healthy and popular life style and an reflection of optimistic and positive attitude. Just like nowadays, the development of Olympic games is harmonious and prosperous, for the reason that its not only for shaping humans body, but more for pursuing a king of spirit --- faster, higher, stronger. This is my speech. Thank you.。
