一般过去时

一.一般过去时的用法

1.一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。

2. 常用时间状语:yesterday, last night, two days ago, in 2000,at that time, before liberation,when 等引导的含过去时的句子。

二.一般过去时的结构

1.有be 动词时句子的结构

肯定句:主语 + was/were + 其他 e.g. She was here yesterday.

否定句:主语 + wasn’t/were + 其他 e.g. She wasn’t here yesterday.

一般疑问句:Was/Were + 主语 + 其他 e.g. Was she here yesterday.

特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词 + was/were + 主语 + 其他。 e.g. Where was she yesterday ? 练习:用be动词的适当形式填空。

1. I _______ at school just now.

2. He ________ at the camp last week.

3. We ________ students two years ago.

4. Yang Ling ________ eleven years old last year.

5. There ________ an apple on the plate yesterday.

6. There ________ some milk in the fridge on Sunday.

2.没有be动词时的句子结构

肯定句:主语+动词的过去式+其它。

e.g. He went to the toy store yesterday. 他昨天去玩具店了。

否定句:主语+did not (didn't)+动词原形+其它。

e.g. He didn't go to the toy store yesterday. 他昨天没去玩具店。

一般疑问句:Did+主语+动词原形+其它?

e.g. -Did he go to the toy store yesterday ? -Yes, we did./No, we didn't.

特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+did+主语+动词原形+其它?

【经典例题分析】

【例1】1. They ________ on the farm a moment ago.

注意:a moment ago是一刻钟之前,是过去时间语;on the farm表示的是状态,用be动词;They是跟be动词are, 因此是填are的过去式。

【例2】2. I did my homework at 9 o’clock yesterday evening.(改一般疑问句)

注意:理解一般疑问句的定义,然后分析句子时态,最后准确地表达句子。

三.动词过去式变化规则

1.一般在动词末尾加-ed, e.g. pull-pulled, cook-cooked

2.结尾是e加d, e.g. taste-tasted like-liked

3.末尾三个字母是以“辅音+ 元音 + 辅音”结尾的重读闭音节,应双写末尾的辅音字母,再加-ed,e.g. stop-stopped

4.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的,变y为i,再加-ed, e.g. study-studied

5.不规则变化的动词:sad-said see-saw ride-rode swim-swam teach-taught
