Tiger: I’m a great tiger. I’m very strong. I’m very brave. I’m the king of the forest.But now I’m very hungry. I must find sth. to eat at once, or I’ll die immediately.Oh, there’s nothing here. And here is nothing, either. Oh, I want to have a rest. (Sleep soundly)
Fox: I’m a fox. You can see, I’m pretty and lovely. I’m good at cheating 0and telling lies. Just now I cheated a crew out of a piece of meat. Mm, Mm, Mm. How delicious it is!
Tiger: Ah, a fox. A good meal. Ah, a good meal.
Fox: Oh, my God! What should I do? Yes, I have a good idea. Yes, a good idea. Hello! Tiger sister! How are you?
Tiger: Not so good. I’m very hungry now. I want to eat you.

背景：美丽的大森林
（优美的音乐缓缓响起）
花狗：（和燕子、螃蟹一起一场）亲爱的朋友们，今天兔子和乌龟要比本领，请我和燕子、螃蟹当裁判，我（停顿一下，举着口哨）将是这次比赛中最公正的裁判长。

兔子：（蹦蹦跳跳上场）大家好！
乌龟：（摇摇摆摆上场）大—家—好！
花狗：你们俩要比本领，想怎么比？比什么？
兔子：比赛跑。

乌龟：比游泳。

兔子：（一蹬脚）比赛跑！
乌龟：（毫不示弱）比游泳！
兔子：（蹦起来，高叫）比赛跑！
乌龟：（做个游水动作）比游泳！
花狗：（摆摆手）好啦，好啦，别吵啦！先比赛跑，再比游泳，一切都得听我们裁判的。

（燕子和螃蟹在一旁连连点头，它们一起退场，商量比赛规则）
兔子：（指着乌龟）乌龟、乌龟腿儿粗，腿儿短，跑起步来摇又摆。

（头一甩，走下场。

）
乌龟：（反击）我和兔子比赛跑，兔子半路睡一觉，乌龟坚持爬到底，最后胜利属于我，哼！（头一甩，也下场了。

第一场田径运动场
背景：田径运动场
活外音：兔子和乌龟的跑步比赛马上要开始了。

（场上顿时热闹起来）
兔子啦啦队：乌龟胜利，乌龟胜利。

活外音：兔子和乌龟已经做好准备，请裁判上场，运动员上场。

（场上响起运动员进行曲）
（兔子和乌龟昂首挺胸走上场，不时和各自的啦啦队打招呼。

）
（乌龟和兔子站到各自的起跑线上，做好百米短跑的预备式。

）
花狗：预备——嘟嘟（吹口哨）
活外音：兔子以箭一般的速度冲了出去，啊，兔子已到终点。

花狗：（举起兔子的大手）兔子赢了。

（观众报以热烈的掌声，兔子啦啦队手舞足蹈。

）
兔子：（又蹦又跳）我赢了，我赢了！
活外音：乌龟还在慢慢爬，加油呀！
乌龟：（一边慢慢爬，一边望着兴奋的兔子）我四肢粗短，耐力强，当年我爸赢了他爸，比的就是长跑。

对，就来个马拉松比赛，兔子一骄傲或许又睡着了，我不就赢了吗？（到了终点，一脸不服气样。

）裁判长，我不服输，我要和兔子赛长跑。

花狗：（竖起大拇指，然后拍拍乌龟）哟呵！乌龟真有志气。

好，我们大家就让它俩再来一次5000米的决赛吧！
众：好！好！
（兔子、乌龟再次来到起跑线上，做好预备式，哨声一响，兔子和乌龟呼啦啦跑起来）
众：加油！加油！乌龟加油！
兔子：（低着头，拼命跑）龟孙子，这回你可要输定了。

我是决不会忘记，我爸是因麻痹大意，比赛时睡着了，才输给你爸的，这奇耻大辱我决不会忘。

（回过头看看还在慢慢爬的乌龟）这次你可要输惨喽！慢慢爬吧，小乌龟！
花狗：（哨声一响）兔子领先！
（场上又是一片欢腾）
（中场休息，轻松、欢快的音乐响起。

几名女孩上场跳着优美的舞蹈比赛助兴）
花狗：这场比赛兔子赢了。

朋友们，我们现在向体育馆的游泳池进发，观看兔子和乌龟的游泳比赛。

（一起退场）
第二场体育馆的游泳池
背景：游泳池
活外音：乌龟和兔子已经做好了充分的准备。

乌龟啦啦队：乌龟——冠军、乌龟——冠军。

兔子啦啦队：再接再励！再接再励！
（乌龟、兔子各就各位，花狗哨声一响）
乌龟：（“扑通”跳下水像快艇上发射出鱼雷一下就到了对岸）
活外音：乌龟真不愧是游泳健将，看他正以飞一样的速度游向对岸。

兔子：（穿着笨大的救生衣，学着青蛙的姿势在原地打转转）
活外音：可兔子呢，他毫不识水性，还在原地打转转，真是着急呀。

兔子啦啦队：兔子加油！兔子加油！
花狗：（吹口哨）乌龟第一（乌龟跳起了舞蹈）
兔子：（一边游上岸，晃了晃脑袋）我怎么能输给乌龟呢？这岂不丢了祖宗的脸，游得慢是因为我穿了这笨重的救生衣，对！脱了它，再来比，我一定能赢！（冲着花狗喊）裁判长，我不服输。

我要再来一场千米游泳赛！
花狗：好！机会均等，就再来一场千米游泳。

各就各位，预备，跳！
（乌龟、兔子同时跳水）
兔子：（一边挣扎，一边喊叫）救命呀、救命呀！
（声音越来越小）
兔子亲友：快救救我的孩子吧！快救救他。

（青蛙也纵入水中和乌龟一块把兔子拉上来）
（进行了人工呼吸，压肚子，兔子把水吐出来，渐渐苏醒。

）
青蛙、乌龟等：太好了、太好了，兔子醒了，兔子醒了。

乌龟：（拉着小兔子的手，又伤心，又懊悔）小兔子，真对不起，明知你不会游泳，还强求和你比输赢，我的争强好胜差点失去了你这位好朋友。

）
兔子：（不好意思地低下头）这事不怪你，游泳我本来就不会，还要逞强，吓着你了吧！小乌龟，真对不起！花狗：（一边鼓掌，一边走向前高兴地说）是呀，每个人都有自己的长处和短处，光看到自己的长处。

看不到自己的短处是不行的，（和小兔子、乌龟手挽手）让我们扬长避短，共同进步！）
（演员一起走上场，场上响起欢快的音乐和观众们热烈的掌声。

）
众演员：我们是一群快乐的小动物，美丽的森林是我们温暖的家，我们唱歌、我们跳舞、我们互相帮助、我们团结友爱！）
