Role Introduction:

Mr. Darcy is a single father, whose daughter was born talented. The girl was called Alice, her mother died two years ago. Though she want her father not to be lonely, she still refuse to have a new mother for those stepmothers in stories always be so awful.(Steven Darcy) Miss. Linkey, 35, humorous easy-going, but still don’t have a family, who loves single life but was forced to make an appointment with Mr. Darcy.(Kelly Linkey)

Alice, Steven’s daughter.

Jenny, Kelly’s best friend.

Waitress.

第一幕：

Steven(St):Take care of yourself, clever miss Darcy.

Alice: Surely I will, wish you a beautiful evening! Dad.

St: Goodbye, honey!

第二幕：（在一个浪漫的餐馆里，Kelly 正在等待她妈妈说的那位相亲对象，她已经坐了好一会儿了，不由的四处张望）

St: (挪开椅子坐下) You must be Miss. Kelly, I’m Steven , Steven Darcy.

Apologize for my late, I’m so sorry.

Kelly (K): Not at all, Mr. Darcy, so ~~~~Ahh~~ Nice to meet you (突兀地站起来，伸出双手)

St: （望了她一眼,有点奇怪）Nice to meet you too.

Ehh …… I have a daughter.

K: I knew I knew,so that’s the reason your mother forced you to meet me.

St: ah~~ haha ~~ this restaurant is very nice, isn’t it?..... Would you like some drink?

K: (大手一挥)Wine, waiter, a bottom of whisky!

St: (奇怪地望了望Kelly,顿悟) en~~ whisky is fine, what about something to eat? Waitress, Menu，please!

K: (自言自语地)I hope you’re hungry.

St: What? .......... Oh, yes , I’m hungry, of course.

Ms K & St: (异口同声地) Would you?......

K：Haha ~~ All right.

St: Starting! Special place for special person.

K: How about your daughter? Y ou’ve just said her. Do you have a picture of her? How old is she?

St:(拿出钱包给Kelly) Her name is Alice, she’s 9 years old.

暂停！

第三幕：Alice’s Action

Alice: Dad is making the date with a strange woman?! Will she enter my house and pretend to show her kindness? Oh I cannot imagine

what will happen next. Actions need to be taken!

Calling: Daddy~~~ I get a stomachache and can you go back to send me to the hospital .

St: Excuse me, I got a call. (抱歉地看看Kelly)

To Alice: Dad is back in a hurry, don’t be scary!

To Kelly: Please forgive me Kelly, but I have to leave, I feel terrible. Kelly: What’s the matter? Is that you daughter?

St: She got a stomachache , I’m worry about her.

Kelly: Oh no! Is she serious? Please go ahead. We’ll see again, goodbye!

第四幕：（Steven has went back, but Alice is watching TV.）

St: Are you ok, honey?

Alice: Daddy you are back! I’m ok now, nothing serious. What’s more ,I am sure that you have already left the beautiful lady.

St: What? Oh honey, you were not sick?

Alice: (对着父亲笑)No Daddy, I am more serious. Ahh~haha. But it is worthwhile to have you back.

St: (穿上大衣)Thank god, you were not sick. Mr. Darcy have to go out to make an apology.

Alice: If you insist, Mr.

第五幕：

Jenny (J): What happened?

K: His daughter is sick, a stomachache.

J: So what do you think of him?

K: He is very nice, but I think he is very nervous tonight. Do you want to see him again?...... This food is delicious, I am not complaining! Steven is so suit for you, you should have a try.

(门在咚咚地响)
