全从串口取电的IR-1101G来说可能造成很大影响。因此用户在
IR-1101G与RS-485设备连接时只需将IR-1101G的D+、D- 进行终端匹配时要谨慎行事。
依次与RS-485设备的D+、D-相连即可。 注意：由于RS-485在物理接口上没有国际标准，因此不同厂 家的RS-485设备的物理接口可能会不同，而且对信号正负极 性的标注也可能不同，如，有的标为D+和D-；有的标为A和B ；而有的标为B和A等等。请用户在接线时注意信号的正负极 性。

六、故障及排除RS485不能通信：1、Power LED不亮：检查电源适配器连接及供电是否正常。
2、RS485 LED不亮：A、检查电脑COM口设置是否正确。
B、检查COM口至转换器间转线是否连好。
3、RS485 LED亮但不能通信：检查485输出连线是否正确(485+；485-是否一一对应) 。
检查485输出总线是否短路。
RS422不能通信：1、Power LED不亮，检查电源适配器连接及供电是否正常。

可以有效的防止RS485总线上的雷击（感应）、静电以及地电位差产生的环流等对您的计算机系统造成的损害。
如果您采用的不是光电隔离产品，这些损害可能通过232串口直接进入到您的计算机系统里，从而造成永久性损害。
有些非光电隔离转换器虽然带有一定的防静电和抗雷击的功能，但这只能保证转换器本身不受到损害，而不能有效的保护您的计算机。
尤其是当485总线两端的地线直接相连时，更是非常危险。
有些应用场合，由于485总线两端存在地电位差，如果该电位差超过了485规定的电压容限范围，485系统将无法正常通信。
此时，需要将各485设备的地线（GND）相连，即需要接三根线：A、B和GND。
但是，此种情况下，由于不同的485设备之间存在地电位差，因此，会在不同的485节点（设备）之间产生地环流，如果环流电流过大，有可能对您的计算机系统造成损害。
对于以上情况，普通的无源RS232Ù485转换器（非光隔）无能为力，而JaRa 2102G就可以很好地解决以上问题。
2102G无需外部供电，直接从计算机串口取电（从RS232串口的TXD取电，同时由RS232的RTS和DTR辅助供电），要求直接插在计算机串口上使用。
对于只有TXD、RXD和GND三根线的串口，由于只有TXD信号给2102G供电，2102G将会馈电不足，无法正常工作。

RS-232转485无源转换器使用说明书I、概述为了在不同串口标准的计算机、外部设备、智能仪器之间通信，必须先将通信信号作转换。
本转换器兼容RS-232和485标准。
它能够将单端的RS-232信号转换成平衡的485差分信号，并且将通信距离拉长到1.2公里。
该转换器是无源的不需要外加电源。
它采用了一种特殊的电流泵技术，从RS-232信号（RTS，DTR，TXD）中取电，无需事先初始化RS-232接口。
内部收发器和特殊电路自动控制着数据流的方向而不需要用握手信号（如RTS，DTR）来控制。
软件如果工作在RS-232半双工模式，不作修改就可以在485模式下保持相同的功能。
300-115200bps的波特率可以适用于主控机之间、主控机和外部设备之间通信，并可组成点到点、点到多点的通信网络。
它广泛应用于工业自动化、门禁、一卡通、停车场、ATM、公共汽车收费、食堂售卖系统、员工考勤管理、高速公路收费站等场合。
本说明书适合于以下两种型号的转换器：AD485-A（标准级）AD485-B（商业级）AD485-C（工业级）II、产品特点1、接口：兼容EIA/TIA的RS-232标准和485标准。
2、电气接口：RS-232端是个Db9母头（孔型），485端是个Db9公头（针型）并连接一个接线小板。
3、工作模式：异步，半双工，差分传输。
4、传输介质：双绞线或带屏蔽双绞线。
5、通信速率：300-115200bps。

III、连接头及信号定义1、RS-232C连接头定义：备注：如果设备是DCE方式，则2、3脚定义交换。
2、485连接头定义：IV、安装和使用转换器采用传统的DB9母头和DB9公头连接器，连接小板上有4个接线柱。
可以使用双绞线或带屏蔽双绞线来连接，安装和拆卸都很容易。

匹配电阻，RS-485是差分电平通信，在距离较长或速率较高时，线路存在回波干扰，此时需要在通信线路首末两端并联120Ω匹配电阻。
匹配电阻会降低线路带负载能力，我们推荐在通信速率大于19.2K或线路长度大于200米时，才需加接匹配电阻。
接地说明，RS-485要求通信双方的地电位差小于1V，所以建议一定要将两边的信号地相连，但该信号地不要接大地。
三、应用示例：1、点到点两线半双工通讯2、点到多点两线半双工通讯为防止信号的反射和干扰，长距离传输时需在线路的终端加装匹配电阻。

8. IR-1101G的供电 虽然IR-1101G内部采用了高效的串口馈电技术，但因为
A：为什么已经按照说明书上的方法加了+5V外部电源，但是系 统仍然供电不足？ Q：这主要是与IR-1101G内部取电电路的设计有关。最好的加电 方法是在IR-1101G的RS-232端的第4脚（PW1）与第5脚（GND） 之间加-5V直流电源，或者在第7脚（PW2）与第5脚（GND） 之间加-5V直流电源。但是-5V电源在一些场合并不方便，因此 推荐用户在遇到串口供电不足时还是选用itRob的其它有源产品。

10. 常见问题与解答 A：哪些情况下容易遇到串口供电不足的情况？ Q：一般的计算机内部的RS-232电平转换芯片都是+12V和-12V电 源供电的，因此其输出RS-232信号的驱动能力强，而对于一些 采用+5V/+3.3V供电的仪器或仪表来说，由于其输出的RS-232信 号是由内部的+5V/+3V电平转换过去的，因此其驱动能力相比计 算机要弱很多，再加之大多数的仪器和仪表上的RS-232大都采 用三线（收、发、地）通讯，因此供电能力就更弱了。
A：为什么说明书上说IR-1101G支持的最大节点数为32个点， 而我的系统只能挂几个设备？ Q：IR-1101G能够挂接的设备数量与串口的供电能力有很大关系。 即便同是计算机串行口，供电能力也各不相同。另外，挂接设 备的数量还与RS-485设备自身的负载状况有关。如有些设备是 ¼标准负载，此时，理论上能够挂接的设备数量为32*4=128个。 因此，说明书上所说的32个点只是针对标准负载的理论数值。
◆ 与RS-485设备的连接
全从串口取电的IR-1101G来说可能造成很大影响。因此用户在
IR-1101G与RS-485设备连接时只需将IR-1101G的D+、D- 进行终端匹配时要谨慎行事。
依次与RS-485设备的D+、D-相连即可。 注意：由于RS-485在物理接口上没有国际标准，因此不同厂 家的RS-485设备的物理接口可能会不同，而且对信号正负极 性的标注也可能不同，如，有的标为D+和D-；有的标为A和B ；而有的标为B和A等等。请用户在接线时注意信号的正负极 性。
入DTE设备的RS-232串口即可；当与IR-1101G相连接的RS- 100Ω到120Ω之间，因此加在线路两端的终端电阻的阻值也在

IR-1101G转换器在工作时需要直接从计算机RS-232口的 TXD引脚取电，同时DTR和RTS引脚作为辅助供电用。正常情况 下对于那些只有三线（TXD、RXD和GND）通信的场合，IR1101G同样可以正常工作。而在一些特殊情况下（比如RS-232 串口的供电能力太弱），还可以从RS-485端的第6脚（+5V） 和第5脚（GND）之间加一+5V的直流电源作辅助供电。此种方 法可以使IR-1101G能够适应大多数应用场合。
