报案的是对面公寓的李某，他在口供中说：“当时天还没有亮，我起得很早，在阳台上从死者的窗户发现死者房中两个人影正在搏斗，最后死者被类似棒子的东西敲死了”。

聪明的警察听完后仔细观察了现场，稍加思索后说：“不要狡辩了，老实交代吧。”

警察发现了什么？答案是

台灯位于死者与窗户之间，不可能把人的影子投到窗户上

谁知探长极不耐烦地说：“够了，你在撒谎！”

探长凭什么这么说？

答案是死者家里铺着厚厚的土耳其地毯，人走在上面也不会发出声音，更何况是在电话里。
