基数词

一、确切数：one, two …,twenty-one …, one hundred and one, 2680;25,468; 17,280,258.

（注意读法）

不确切数：thousands of students

a few/ many /several thousands of students

a few/ many /several thousand students

二、年龄 确切数：85 years old/ at the age of 85 /an 85-year-old lady

不确切数：in her eighties

三、年份 in 1999 /2000 / 2012/ 1903 /1800(2种读法)

in the 1950’s / 1950s (in the fifties of the 20th century 或in the nineteen fifties)

in the early / mid- / late 1950s

四、价格 Twenty dollars (＄20) is enough.

一、规则：-th, fourth , sixth,…

特殊：first , second, third, fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth, fourteenth, nineteenth,…

整十：twentieth, thirtieth, fortieth, ninetieth , …

几十几：twenty-first, fifty-fifth,…

缩写：1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 20th, 23rd , 32nd

二、与冠词连用：She is the second to finish the test.
