As we all know, the technology of GPS has brought about a revolution to measurement field. Using carrier phase difference technique (RTK) and basing real-time processing the carrier phase of two stations , it can achieve centimeter-lever accuracy. And compared to traditional manual means of measurement, GPS has obvious advantage: high precision, easy operation, small and light equipment, easy to carry and weather operation.Visibility is not necessary to two observation points and the measuring results is united in WGS-84 coordinates.Besides, due to the information can be received and stored automatically,it can reduce many tedious middle processing chain. Currently,GPS technology has been widely used in geodesy, exploration,crustal movement, cadastral and other fields.
