16. （10分）（2011·凉山市）Norman Bethune is one of China's most famous heroes, but he wasn't Chinese—he was Canadian. He gave his life to helping Chinese people.

Every year, the town of Verona, where the well-known love story Romeo and Juliet took place, receives thousands of letters to Juliet. These letters are written in different languages and sent from all over the world.
