I’m super excited to share with you this awesome plan to help grown-ups learn English from scratch!Step 1 – Basic English Words:First things first, we gotta start with the basics, like learning simple words in English. Let's begin with words we use every day, like "hello", "goodbye", "please", "thank you", and "sorry". We can practice saying them out loud and using them in sentences.Step 2 – Practice Makes Perfect:To get good at anything, we gotta practice, practice, practice! Let’s set aside some time each day to practice English. We can listen to English songs, watch English cartoons, or read English books. The more we practice, the better we’ll get!Step 3 – Conversational English:Once we’ve got a good grasp of basic words, it’s time to start putting them together to have conversations. We can practice simple dialogues like introducing ourselves, ordering food in a restaurant, or asking for directions. This way, we’ll get more comfortable speaking in English.Step 4 – Grammar Fun:Grammar might sound boring, but it’s super important to make sure we’re speaking English correctly. We can learn about basic grammar rules like using "am", "is", and "are" for present tense, adding "s" for plura ls, and using "can" for abilities. We’ll have fun practicing these rules with games and activities.Step 5 – Vocabulary Expansion:To sound more fluent in English, we need to expand our vocabulary. Let’s learn new words and phrases related to topic s we’re interested in, like animals, food, sports, or music. We can make flashcards, play word games, or even challenge each other to use new words in sentences.Step 6 – Real Life Practice:The best way to become fluent in English is to use it inreal-life situations. Let’s practice talking to native English speakers, watching English movies without subtitles, or even traveling to English-speaking countries. The more we immerse ourselves in English, the better we’ll become! So, are you guys ready to embark on this English learning adventure with me? Let’s have fun, make mistakes, and most importantly, never give up! Remember, practice makes perfect, and soon enough, we’ll be speaking English like pros! 成人零基础英语口语
一些简单、实用的口语总结
He was not my type.
他不是我喜欢的型
type 当名词,可以指「某一特性或特质的人事物」。

如果说He's my type. 当然就是指他是我喜欢的型啰!或是可以说「She is the type of girl I like.」
It might come in handy.
那可能可以派得上用场
handy 是指手边的、方便的;片语「come in handy」意思就是指派得上用场的。

例如:I always keep a flashlight around. It might come in handy.
I'm afraid that you're too late.
我怕你太迟了
当你告诉对方的话含有负面意思时, 通常可以在你说的这件事之前,加一句「I'm afraid」。

例如:I'm afraid it's not going to work out.
Any idea?
有概念吗?
idea 是指概念,而当你想问对方「是否知道某件事何时会发生、如何做、或是什么」时,可以用「Any idea + 你想知道的事?」这个句型来问。

例如:Any idea of what this letter means? No kidding!
别开玩笑了!
Kid 在口语中,当动词时,有「开玩笑」或「故意愚弄」的意思。

如果你认为对方在说笑,不是认真的,你可以说You are kidding! 或者用疑问句Are you kidding me? 问对方是否在说笑。

It was really neat.
那真的很好, 酷毙了!
Neat 的原意是「井然有序」,但在美语中是指很好。

只要我喜欢,有什么不neat ? 嬉皮的衣服、庞克族头发、男人的耳洞都可以really neat 啦!
What do you expect?
你还期望什么?
本句型常常用,但请注意不要对初见面的人使用,因为那就会有点鲁莽啦。

但是对熟朋友、同事、同学,就可以多多应用了!在对方抱怨的时候,叫对方「免指望,断了抱怨的念头吧!」
What I don't understand is why ~
我所不能理解的是为什么....
What 是指某件事, I don't understand 是「不能理解」,而两者合起来是指「我难以理解」。

is 之后才是详细说明到底是哪件事难以理解。

例如:What I don't understand is why you always late for date.
What a great idea!
这主意太棒啦!
这个句型是惊歎句,用在对某事的讚赏,句子应该是What a great idea it is! 在口语中可以把it is 省略掉。

例如:What a wonderful idea!
Anytime.
随时请便﹔别客气
Anytime按照字面翻译是「随时」的意思。

在口语会话中可用在两种情形,一是有人向你说谢谢时,你可回答"Anytime", 这是比You're welcome.更客套的说法,另一种是欢迎别人随时都可以拜访时用。

You've come to the right place.
你碰到正确的地方了
You've come to 是表示你就站在我的面前,我来告诉你,看你是否?气好,遇上贵人或白跑一趟。

闯对了地方,就是right place﹔闯错的地方,那就对不起啦! wrong place﹔而遇上了贵人就是right person 啰!
I take it you are leaving.
这么说来,我认定你要离开了
对方说了一句话,你从他的话中听出他的话中另有意思。

所以,你就告诉他,「这么说来,我认定你的意思是这样」。

所以这个句型是「I take it + 对方的意思」,像I take it you don't agree.
How do you want your steak?
你的牛排要几分熟?
吃牛排时,有人喜欢吃三分熟,有人喜欢吃五分熟,有人喜欢吃非常熟,所以就可以用这个句子来问啦! 当然如果想问蛋要煎多熟时,也可以问How do you want your egg?
I'm sorry to hear that.
听到那件事,我觉得很遗憾.
当有人跟你说了一件不幸的消息,或是你听到有关某人不幸的消息,记得遇到他时要跟他说声「I'm sorry + 这件不幸的消息」。

在此sorry 不只有「对不起」得意思,还有「遗憾,难过」之意。

I couldn't ask for more.
我不能要求更多了(我真的很满意).
这句话以否定的语气,表达了肯定的意思,表面上说「我不能在要求更多了」,其实就是说对一切的情况都非常满意。

Thanks for taking me to the movie.
谢谢你带我去看电影。

为了对方为你所做的事情,你要跟他说谢谢,英语的说法就是「Thanks for+ 对方为你所做的事。

」而记得「for」后面要接有ing 的动词!
