考点:名词的单复形式、可数不可数性;

分类讲解
一、可数名词的单复数形式出错——注意修饰词,如many,all,some等需要用复数形式。

1.Happy birthday, Peter, and many happy return of the day!
(return改为returns,many happy returns of the day!为祝贺生日的惯用表达)
2.The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish.
(dish改为dishes,因several后要用可数名词的复数形式)
3.Unfortunately, I had an accident and hit another car, and I needed to stay in a hospital for at least two week. (week-weeks)
4.But one and a half year later, I now think English fun to learn. (year-years)
5.She said that she and my schoolmate all wished me success, but it didn’t matter that

二、不可数名词使用了复数形式,或前面用了a/an。

常见不可数名词:news,information,work ,advice, progress, weather, fun, luck, music ,health,change,baggage,luggage,equipment ,furniture ,
jewellery,knowledge等。

1.He agreed to reading my story and give me some advices on how to write like a real writer.(advices-advice)
2.With lots of informations, we can learn everything if we want.(information-information)
三、a/an+可数名词复数......(×)
固定搭配出错

( find one's way找到路)

( have no idea(of)(不清楚)

四、名词所有格
1.James used to be a friend of me.(me-mine)
2. He is a friend of my mother.
( a friend of my mother’s 我母亲的一个朋友,用双重所有格)
3. After ten hour’s rest, he went on working.
(ten hours’ 10小时的)
五、词性混用
(the importance of 用名词形式)

(the +n. growth)
3.Other way is to watch our everyday use of water and electric at home.
(and前后并列,所以应为名词,electricity)
