Cycling

Cycling, also called bicycling or biking, is the use of bicycles for transport, recreation, or for sport. Persons engaged in cycling are called cyclists or bicyclists. Apart from ordinary two-wheeled bicycles, cycling also includes riding unicycles,tricycles, quadricycles(四轮车), and other similar human-powered vehicles (HPVs).

Learning to ride efficiently and safely in traffic is important. In the United Kingdom, many primary school children took the Cycling Proficiency Test to help them cycle more safely. In countries such as the Netherlands, where cycling is popular, cyclists sometimes ride in bike lanes at the side of, or separate from main highways and roads. Many primary schools participate in the national road test in which children individually complete a circuit on roads near the school while being observed by testers.

Cycling is listed as an official event in the first Olympics in 1896. And it began to appear in Asia in the early 20th century. In 1908， Japan founded the Tokyo round and will（东京轮士会）. In May 1915, the second far east games , held in Shanghai, consisted of eight events , which the bike game project is one of. Before the 1990s, in the mainland China which was called the kingdom of bicycles , bicycles were the main transportation of the urban and rural short travel, after that the function as a transportation tool was gradually replaced by motorbikes and cars, but as a sport fitness entertainment, its function was improved.
