英文的重要性
現在這個世界漸漸國際化，國家與國家之間越來越沒有隔閡，溝通需要語言，雖然華語是最多人口使用的語言，由於美國的經濟發展以致於我們必須去學英文去與國外的人溝通。有一陣子英文是一種趨勢，電腦是西方發明產物,電腦程式所使用的語言是英文，電腦對現在及未來的生活有主宰地位，要設計程式你就必須會英文，要設計複雜程式你更要精通英文。
國外比國內的資源更豐富，我們想要接觸更多的知識，就必須研讀外文書，因為現在還是有很多外文書大部分都是英文，沒有被翻譯成中文書，就算翻譯也會有所出入，想要了解書籍裡的內容，便會學習全球最普遍的英文。
就旅行來說，最大的障礙就是語言，使用英語系的國家很多，只要你能具備英語的能力，全世界就任你暢行無阻，在很多情況下是沒有翻譯人員為你翻譯語言的，這是就要靠自己的繪畫能力，能善用英語，你能結交各個國家的朋友，了解各個國家的文化，出國留學最應該具備的也是英語。
台灣近年來越來越開放，崇洋的人也越來越多，西洋歌曲、電影，電影很多都是國外來的，會英文又能有更多選擇，而不用靠中文字幕，因為喜歡所以更會積極學習英文，英文在我們生活中佔有重要的地位。
在台灣，現在工作必須具備二種以上的語言能力，除了中文以外就是英文了，而且具備英文能力，可以增加自己的就業機會外國有更多資源，供我們進修留學專精事業，而且外面公司具備英文能力能更容易錄取。
所以英文對我們來說是非常重要的。
