My mum wishes I could be famous and important when I grow up. The word “Jin” in my name means “gold”, and the sun is gold, my mum wishes I could be important like the sun. I’m 11. I come from C lass1 Grade 6 of Yuan gang Primary School. I’m doing well in my study, I am good at English and I have got many prizes. There are 4 people in my family. My father is a driver. My mother is pretty, and she is a housewife. My home is near the school, but I often get up early. I study very hard at my school. After school, I like practicing my English and reading books. I really like English and I wish that one day I can talk with an Englishman. I’ve heard your school is very good at English teaching and I like English very much. Pets

Some people think pets are just fun to play with. But pets can really help us in a lot of different ways. First, pets are great because they can get us to take exercises more. By walking or running around with the dog every day, well, we are moving and using our muscles. It helps us stay healthy. Second, pets help us relax, just by being with us and keeping us company. For examples, playing with our cats, can keep us feel happy, because cat can help us forget our problems. We might get stressed out, and it is bad for our health. Third by giving a pet to an elderly person, we can make that person fell happy. That because elderly person feel lonely sometimes and pets can be their friends. Last bust not least, understand animals not just from books or TV. Playing with them and taking care of them properly make it easier to understand them. This is useful, because we have to learn about animals at school, too. So having a pet is very useful.

Worry about the Forest

Today, I’ll express my worry about the forest.

A forest is a large piece of land with a lot of trees. There are many, many tress and flowers in the forest. Many beautiful animals and insects live in there. There are thousands of birds too. A forest is a noisy place!

Forests are serving man everywhere. Trees are most useful in preventing good and

rich soil from being washed away during heavy rains. A long time ago, man in the past had no enough knowledge about science of nature. They cut down too many trees and

never planted any new trees. By and by, the rich land changed into useless deserts where nothing could grow.

But now some people still cut down the trees to made something or sell the wood to

make money. Many birds, animals and insects die. Because they have no where to live and they haven’t enough food to eat. When there are no more trees in a forest and the animals eat the grass and small plants, the forest will become a desert!

Here I want to tell every one: Our forests are in danger. The animals are in danger! The environments of human being are in danger! So let’s protect the trees! Let’s protect the forest! Let’s protect our earth!

School system.

Well, you know the school systems in our country and the grade levels. The point I want to make today is that in other countries the school systems are different. For example, did you know that in the United States there are four grade levels before university? These are: kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. Sometimes the last two are called middle school and high school. And in Australia, well, there are usually just two grade levels. They’re called primary school and sec ondary school. And In the United States, you need to be about six when you go to elementary school, and about eleven when you go to junior high. In Australia, kids can start when they are five. And they go to secondary school when they are about twelve. So, there are something about term are different.
