442023年6月上第11期总第407期信息技术与应用China Science & Technology Overview0 引言随着油气勘探开发的不断深入，石油地震勘探目标向尺度小、细、深及复杂特征的趋势发展，高质量勘探开发难度日益加大，若要资源突破，物探先行已成为目前高质量勘探、少井高产和效益开发的主要方法，因此，地震资料处理速度建模技术得到了迅速发展，已经从常规的时间域速度建模向深度域速度建模发展，并研发了地下非均质地层介质的各向异性速度建模，应用国内外很多建模学者正在研究的FWI 全波形反演速度建模。

当前，高精度速度建模还处于瓶颈期，超深层碳酸盐岩地质复杂，速度精度不足导致断裂、缝洞体等成像不清晰、构造归位不准确等问题，FWI 全波形反演速度建模成为其追求的目标，但是由于FWI 建模对资料要求很高，陆上地震超深层勘探目标效果还不显著，所以，要获得更多高品质地震资料，实现“多做物探少打井，打高产井”的目标，迫切需要效率和精度都高的速度建模技术来支撑，保证地震反演速度精度与钻井速度高度一致，再通过高精度成像结果为钻井提供更好的分析资料，实时指导钻井轨迹的调整。

井中地震勘探作为能够快速获得垂向地震剖面和最初了解地下信息的技术，随着采集装备、处理技术的发展，从1917年至今，井中地震勘探技术已经在垂直地震剖面（VSP）基础上形成了零井源距VSP、非零井源距VSP、变井源距VSP、井间地震、三维VSP、随钻地震等系列，成为不可或缺的勘探方法，在油气勘探开发中被广泛应用[1]。

其中，零井源距VSP、非零井源距VSP 被广泛应用于层位与深度标定、速度求取、地震波吸收衰减因子求取和提高分辨率井控处理；随钻导向技术逐步用于钻头前地层深度预测、地层压力预测、钻头导向和提高储层钻遇率方面，并与零井源距VSP 一起应用于高精度速度建模，通过获得的高精度速度对地震资料进行高精度成像，从而帮助随钻井调整轨迹方向。

inserted to the compression fitting port of a custom-made tee.The standard ST-001installation tee provided with each ST-588sensor,has two¾inch female NPT ports and can be placed to an existing¾inch sample water line.Pyxis Lab also offers2”and3”Tee formats for larger flow installations.The4–20mA current output of the ST-588probe can be connected to any controller that accepts an isolated or non-isolated4–20mA input.The ST-588probe is a smart device.In addition to mea-suring PTSA and Fluorescent Polymer,the ST-588probe has extra photo-electric components that monitor the color and turbidity of the sample water.This extra feature allows automatic color and turbidity com-pensation to eliminate interference commonly associated with real-world waters.The Pyxis ST-588probe has a short fluidic channel and can be easily cleaned.The fluidic and optical ar-rangement of the ST-588probe is designed to overcome shortcomings associated with other fluorometers that have a distal ST-588probe is configured as a Modbus slave device.In addition to the ppm Fluorescent Polymer and ppb PTSA values,many operational parameters,including warning and error messages,are available via a Modbus RTU connection.Contact Pyxis Lab Customer Service(*********************)for more informa-tion.8Sensor Maintenance and PrecautionThe ST-588probe is designed to provide reliable and continuous Fluorescent Polymer and PTSA readings even when installed in moderately contaminated industrial cooling waters.Although the optics are com-pensated for the effects of moderate fouling,heavy fouling will prevent the light from reaching the sensor, resulting in low readings and the potential for product overfeed if the ST-588probe is used as part of an au-tomated control system.When used to control product dosing,it is suggested that the automation system be configured to provide backup to limit potential product overfeed,for example by limiting pump size or duration,or by alarming if the pumping rate exceeds a desired maximum limit.The ST-588probe is designed to be easily removed,inspected,and cleaned if required.It is suggested that the ST-588probe be checked for fouling and cleaned/calibrated on a monthly basis.Heavily contam-inated waters may require more frequent cleanings.Cleaner water sources with less contamination may not require cleaning for several months.The need to clean the ST-588probe can be determined by the Cleanliness Check using either the uPyxis®Mobile App(see the Mobile Diagnosis Screen section)or the uPyxis®Desktop App(see the Desktop Diagnosis Screen section).8.1Methods to Cleaning the ST-588Any equipment in contact with industrial cooling systems is subject to many potential foulants and con-taminants.Our inline probe cleaning solutions below have been shown to remove most common foulants and contaminants.A small,soft bristle brush,Q-Tips cotton swab,or soft cloth may be used to safely clean the probe housing and the quartz optical sensor channel.These components and more come with a Pyxis Lab Inline Probe Cleaning Solution Kit(P/N:SER-01)which can be purchased at our online Estore/Catalog https:///product/probe-cleaning-kit/Figure16.Inline Probe Cleaning Solution KitTo clean the ST-588probe,soak the lower half of the probe in100mL inline probe cleaning solution for 10minutes.Rinse the ST-588probe with distilled water and then check for the flashing blue light inside the ST-588probe quartz tube.If the surface is not entirely clean,continue to soak the ST-588probe for an e the small,soft bristle brush and Q-Tips cotton swabs as necessary to remove any remaining contaminants in the ST-588probe quartz tube.8.2StorageAvoid long term storage at temperature over100°F.In an outdoor installation,properly shield the ST-588 probe from direct sunlight and precipitation.9TroubleshootingIf the ST-588probe output signal is not stable and fluctuates significantly,make an While electrochemical calorimetry is a powerful tool, the complexity and nuance of the experiments make it difficult to approach for many researchers. Hyphenated or hybrid instrument techniques are commonly plagued with lengthy data processing after the experiment has ended, when correlating the signals from different devices. They also require multiple software interfaces, where the user is forced to synchronize the start times and experiment parameters. The Battery Cycler Microcalorimeter Solution is designed to eliminate these issues and simplify battery calorimetry by integrating the calorimeter and potentiostat at the hardware and software levels.BATTERY CYCLER MICROCALORIMETER SOLUTIONThe Battery Cycler Microcalorimeter Solution integrates the BioLogic VSP-300 Potentiostat with the TA Instruments TAM IV Isothermal Microcalorimeter (Figure 1). The integrated TAM Assistant software controls both devices, including experiment creation and real time assimilation of the heat flow and electrochemical data. The pre-wired lifters are calorimeter inserts that house the batteries and make electrical contact with the potentiostat. These lifters are designed to conduct heat generated from the battery into the calorimeter, while minimizing noise from ambient thermal fluctuations and wire heating. The connection to the battery is made with a conductive spring clip, so no soldering or additional insulation is required. There are three different lifters to accommodate common lithium-ion battery dimensions. The coin cell lifter will house a coin (button) cell up to 23 mm in diameter. This lifter is compatible with any 20 mL calorimeter on the TAM IV , including the Microcalorimeter and Multicalorimeter (3-pack) configuration. The Macrocalorimeter lifter fits standard 18650 size cylindrical cells, most commonly used for electric vehicles. The Micro-XL lifter will house pouch cells with maximum dimensions of 50 mm width, 94 mm length, and 12 mm thick. They are customized to accommodate three common lithium-ion battery designs: 18650 cylindrical cells, pouch cells, and coin cells. This solution is a highly valued instrument for research and development labs and provides greater insights than other current techniques on the market.INTRODUCTIONTraditional research methodologies in battery chemistry have treated materials characterization and thermal analysis as separate from the electrochemical testing. The materials characterization was done to quantify new battery components and how those components changed after cell failure. Thermal analysis was used to design better thermal management systems for end use applications. Most of the information about how the battery performs, what type of chemistry is occurring inside the cell, and how it changes over time, was gathered from the electrochemical data. The information produced from this traditional research workflow left many blind spots in the chemistry [1]. Batteries are highly dynamic systems with a mixture of electrochemical reactions, chemical reactions, and structural changes occurring each cycle. Electrochemical analysis will only give information on processes that affect the electrochemical reactions, leaving all other activities (chemical, phase, structural) uncharacterized. There are many states of change between a new and a failed battery cell and understanding the degradation process requires more insight than current techniques can provide [1,2].New approaches are focused on combining a secondary analytical technique with electrochemistry to quantify the battery processes during operation. One of the leading strategies towards this effort is the coupling of high resolution isothermal microcalorimetry with electrochemistry [3-6]. Understanding the thermal activity of lithium-ion batteries as a function of the electrochemical stimuli will yield far greater insights than electrochemistry alone. In addition to general thermal management data, calorimetry can also measure parasitic reactions (non-reversible reactions leading to degradation), structural changes, lithium plating, self-discharge rates, and reactions associated with SEI layer growth/decay [3-8]. This data can be used in research to better understand and improve battery formulation chemistry. User can choose from a variety of pre-set experiments and program custom run sequences for maximum flexibility.An overview of available methods is given belowManual: Custom experiments, programmed by selecting actions, wait times, and event markers in the run sequence menu. Heat management (CCCV): Measures heat flow during cycling, primarily used for thermal management applications. This method will program different charging profiles (variable charge / discharge rates) using constant current constant voltage (CCCV) parameters. Entropy changes: This method consists of a slow cycle (C/20) followed by a very slow cycle (C/100) for maximum resolution into the structural and phase changes that occur during lithiation/delithiation. First cycle reaction (SEI): Method designed to study the SEI formation reactions. This method applies a small charging current in the low voltage range where SEI formation occurs (typically below 3.0 V), then applies a higher charging current until the standard upper voltage limit is reached (typically 4.2 V). Full cycle parasitics: Method to measure the parasitic power over the full voltage range. The term Parasitics is a blanket term for any non-reversible side reaction that contributes to battery degradation. Narrow cycle parasitics: Method to measure the parasitic power in a narrow voltage. This is a faster technique if only one (or more) narrow voltage windows are of interest. Self-discharge: Experiment for measuring the self-discharge rate. This combines the conventional technique (monitoring open circuit voltage over time, then discharging to measure the remaining capacity) and the thermal method of integrating the total heat produced over the open circuit time. During the experiment, the thermal and electrochemical signals are plotted in the same window (Figure 3). In order for the data to be meaningful, it is correlated with an unmatched high degree of precision. Both sets of data are timestamped and automatically correlated by the software during import. This is a significant improvement over manual data processing, which takes much longer and often has transcription errors.Figure 3. The integrated TAM Assistant software will automatically calculate key values and present them in a table or as a plot. There are several options for the x-axis and y-axis, the ability to overlay multiple cycles, and the option to separate charge from discharge (see Figure 4). These tools were designed to maximize flexibility, speed, and ease of use, so the user could more efficiently find trends or features within the data. The summary table presents the averaged or accumulated signals, including coulombic efficiency and average parasitic power. CONCLUSIONSCalorimetry of full battery cells is a valuable tool for thermal management, electrolyte additive research, active material formulation, and quality control. The barrier to this technology was the complexity of the experiments and labor-intensive data processing. The Battery Cycler Microcalorimeter Solution integrates the TAM IV with the VSP-300 at the hardware and software levels to improve accessibility, reliability, and the general utility of battery calorimetry.REFERENCES1.
