Module 7 Planes, boats and trains(外语教学与研究出版社9年义务教育课程标准实验教科书《英语》初一下册)Unit 3 Language in use大连市第六中学---于兰一.教材分析1.从话题上讲, 本模块讨论的是旅游与交通, 第一单元通过一定量的听说训练,对英语学习中的听说方面进行了输入和输出的练习。

第二单元在此基础上通过对阅读材料的分析,教会学生应用寻找细节的阅读技巧,并能将标题与段落,单词与释义进行匹配,同时能将表格中的信息转换成文字进行输出。

.第三单元则针对本模块的话题进行了拓展和提高,并在此基础上对原有的话题进行扩展, 培养学生英语语言的运用能力和发散思维的能力.。

2.从语言知识和语言技能上讲, 本模块学习的是形容词的最高级,以及介词短语by +交通工具。

第一单元学习常见的交通工具名称,并初步了解形容词的最高级形式,以及最高级的读音。

通过学习和训练, 可为后两个单元对此语法功能项目进行进一步的巩固和提高作铺垫; 第二单元在已有的基础上, 通过阅读材料的提供,对形容词最高级进行巩固和深入学习,并学会运用细节阅读的策略,还能够将表格内容转化成文字进行输出;。

第三模块是对前两个模块中所学习的交通工具和最高级形式进行集中的综合的复习和拓展。

二.教学对象分析1.学生对于形容词的比较级已经了解和掌握,因此,对于形容词的比较已经有所了解,再来学习最高级困难则不大。

2.学生的阅读能力有待提高,尤其应该开始有计划的学习和掌握阅读技巧和阅读策略。

将表格转化成文字进行输出也是一种非常重要的能力,学生应该以一点学习和掌握。

三、教学过程设计:一.课型: Revision and application二.教学目标(一)知识技能目标(1)词汇围绕本单元话题,巩固本模块以学习过的三会四会词汇, 能够准确读写并熟练运用这些单词和词组, 如airport, subway, ferry terminal, train 等(2)语法学会使用形容词的最高级,能够熟练的运用, 表达, 并能完成相应的语法练习题。
