(一)
One possible version:
As we can see in the picture, two men are standing side by side, smiling. They share one characteristic, strong in one arm, while weak in the other. I guess they smile because they find someone who can help them accomplish a task that cannot be completed by either of them alone.
Like the two men in the picture, we all have strengths and weaknesses, and what we can do is limited. However, weaknesses don’t necessarily mean failure, but may indicate the possibility of cooperation. By working with others, and making the best of each other’s talents, we can always achieve a better result.
(二)
One possible version:
From the picture we can see that one hand is trying to hold the sand with great caution, while the other hand lets part of it drop.
I think the picture conveys the message of gain and loss to us. The sand is just like good things in our life. Everyone attempts to get good things and hold them forever. However, it is impossible to keep everything all the time. Sometimes we have to learn to abandon something, even if it’s quite good or useful. In my opinion, sometimes to lose is not a bad thing, but a wise choice.
(三)
One possible version:
As is shown in the picture, in front of a computer happily sits a teenager, attempting to work on his homework with no effort, only by searching the Internet for the answer. It does show us that our life has been greatly influenced and changed by the Internet.
On one hand, with the touch of a button or the click of a mouse, we can acquire what we want from the Internet. On the other hand, as has been shown in the picture, while computers are helping students finish the academic jobs, they are also killing the students’ creative thinking and exploration spirit. One effect of this key­board dependence is that the young, nowadays, even can seldom spell correctly, let alone the improvement of their learning capacity and skills.
In my view, while enjoying the convenience of the Internet, we should learn how to handle the problems it has caused. Only in this way will the benefits of the Internet outweigh its disadvantages.
(四)
One possible version:
One_day,_Xiao_Ming_saw_a_little_girl_fall_over. He wanted to
help the girl up, but his mother stopped him and said, “Don’t do that, othe rwise others will think it was you who knocked her down.” Another day, the mother was shocked to see Xiao Ming just let the fallen oil bottle be. And Xiao Ming said to his mother, “If I had straightened the bottle up, you would have thought that I did it.”
I disagree with what the mother did in the story. I think parents should set a good example to their children. They should not only care for their children’s health, but their minds. They should let their children know it is a pleasure to help others who are in trouble. We live in the society which is a big family for all of us.
Everyone should do something good to build up our society, right?。
