[though和although的用法]
1．Although Chinese sayings use images of animals or things other than dogs, the meanings are almost the same.尽管中国谚语使用动物或事物的形象不同于狗，但是含义几乎是相同的。

2．Though I have lived here for a long time, I still don't feel Canadian.虽然我已经在这儿居住了很长时间，但是我仍然不觉得自己是加拿大人。

3．Although Canada has two official languages—English and French, most Canadians don't speak both.虽然加拿大有两种官方语言——英语和法语，然而大部分加拿大人并非这两种语言都讲。

4．Though I was a little hurt, I still enjoyed Christmas very much.虽然我受了点儿伤，但我还是非常喜欢圣诞节。

1．though与 although同义，一般情况下可以互换。

只是though较普通，常用于非正式的口语和书面语中，而although较正式。

另外，although语气比though强，常用于强调让步概念。

2．though可以和even构成词组even though，意为“即使；虽然”。

even though与even if同义，而although无此用法。

We'll make a trip even though the weather is bad. 即使天气不好，我们还是会去旅行。

Even though I fail, I'll keep on trying.
即便失败了，我仍会继续尝试。

3．though可单独作副词，常放在句末，与all the same(还是；仍然)或however(可是；然而)同义，而although无此用法。

It's hard work; I enjoy it, though.
这是苦差事，但我颇为享受。

4．当though/although引导让步状语从句时，不能和but连用，但可以和yet或still 连用。

Although it's raining, they are still working in the field. 虽然天在下雨，但他们仍在地里干活。

He is very old, but he still works very hard.

Though the sore be healed, yet a scar may remain.
