About Us
Kaifeng Instrument Co., Ltd. (KFI), established in 1958, once a national scale state-owned enterprise, formerly known as Kaifeng Instrument Factory, is located in the ancient city of Kaifeng, Henan province, China. With currently the most complete and excellent calibration devices for flow instruments, KFI is one of the flow instruments production and testing base in China. The National Water Large Flow Rate Metering Station, the No.13 Measurement and Test Center Station and The Quality Inspection and Supervision Center for Flow Meter of Machinery Industry are all established in our factory. Authorized by the state Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision, the National Water Large Flow Rate Metering Station is a national legal metrological verification organization to undertake the water large flow rate calibration of flow meters all over China. KFI has established the most complete flow test and calibration standard facilities in China, can carry out the real flow calibration for water, gas, oil and other mediums in large, medium and small calibers.

KFI occupies an area of 180,000 square meters with more than 600 working employees, 180 of them are engineers and technicians. Over the past 60 years, KFI has been supplying advanced and reliable flow measuring instruments and devices for national key projects in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power supply, light industries, water treatment, municipal construction, shipbuilding, aerospace and other industries, winning great reputation with the solid quality of our products and the professional technic service of our support team. KFI has developed and produced 4 series, over 90 varieties and more than 4000 specifications of industrial automation instruments. Our pipe prover won the award of Provincial Excellent Designing Industrial Products, taking over 90% of the market share in China. By adopting the design and manufacture technology from UK, we developed the 5th generation electromagnetic flow meter, and the brand E-mag was awarded the State Machinery Industry Famous Brand Product in 1997 and was recommended as the Top Quality Product by the Water Supply Association of China in 1998. With the design and manufacturing technology of Japan, we developed the AM series and 250 series metal tube rotameter. And we independently designed and manufactured roots flow meter, sliding-vane flow meter, bi-rotary flow meter, turbine flow meter, vortex flow meter and throttling devices including orifice plate, venturi tube, etc.

KFI was certified to ISO9001 Quality System, ISO14001 Environmental Protection System, and OHSAS18001 Occupation Health Safety Management System early in1997. Our products also have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions abroad.
