1）．Play a guessing game, “What’s in the box?”Encourage students to answer like this:There are…

2）The teacher put the articles students guess right on the desk and asks：What are there on the desk?Students answer :There are ten pencils on the desk.(Let students write this sentence.)

3. Presenting:

1)Learn the new word‘give”：These are the gifts I’ll give you .At the same time contrast to ‘live in order that students can remember easily.

2)Learn to say ‘give out’‘every’‘everyone’‘them’.If all of us do good jobs ,I’ll give out the presents. ‘ Give out’ means give the presents to every child.Give them to everyone. 3）Learn to say ‘enough’. The teacher says everyone has got a present .There are enough.(write the subject on the blackboard.)‘enough’

4.Teaching-text:

Ms Smart bought something for her students .What are these?.Lets look at our text.

1)．Render the whole dialogue, so that students can perceive the initial conversation and answer the question ;What did Ms Smart buy yesterday?

2)Listen to it again after answering the last question. Answer other two questions: How many pencils did Ms Smart buy? How many students are there in the classroom?

3).Discuss in groups:Are there enough pencils for the students?The teacher says: But Sam says there aren’t enough.The Ms Smart says there are enough. Who is right ?let’s find the answer in groups .

4).Listen to the text for the third time ,fill the blankets after the students clear the last question .The teacher says:Let’s clear these numbers of the pencils by ourselves .
