老师与学生之间大都是灌输,而缺少交流,这样教师教得很辛苦,学生也学得很辛苦,但实际效果并不理想,很多学生对英语知识的掌握和运用十分有限。

从中得出,我们在教学中很多是无效的或低效的教学行为。

这种状况对小学生学习英语极为不利。

作为一名小学英语老师,我们怎样改变这种沉闷的局面,使英语教学变得更加有效呢?我在课余时间认真学习了《小学英语教学的有效性研究》一书,有很大收获。

首先我知道了有效教学的含义:有效的教学是用最小的人力、物力和时间达到预期的教学目标。

也就是要消耗少,收效高。

所谓的“收效”是指经过教师一段时间的教学后,学生所获得的具体的进步或发展。

其次这本书中讲到的提高有效教学的途径,对我今后的教学有很大帮助。

1、激发学生英语学习兴趣。

鲁迅先生说过:没有兴趣的学习无异于一种苦役。

没有兴趣的地方,就没有智慧和灵感。

兴趣是最好的教师,是最基础的学习动力的源泉。

因此教刚接触英语的儿童时,首先要培养他们的兴趣,以各种游戏和其他生动活泼的方式让他们在兴趣盎然的活动中学习英语。

教学中要把握“玩中有学,学中有玩”的原则,依据不同的教学内容为孩子们设计不同的游戏、活动、任务等,使孩子们在不知不觉的过程中轻轻松松学会了语言。

2、在课堂中采用创设情景的教学方式。

通过创设情景,能使学生仿如身临其境,触景生情,较快进入英语角色,并乐意参与语言的各种实践。

在实践中加深理解,熟悉运用和牢固掌握所学过的知识,达到了缓解知识点掌握的难度,让学生感觉到易学而不怕学、甚至中意学的效果。

实践也证明,“情景教学法”能给教师的“教”与学生的“学”带来良好的效应。

它从根本上提高了英语教学效果。

最大程度地培养了学生的英语学习兴趣,能够让教师教得舒心,学生学得轻松。

3、培养学生的听、说能力。

人们在学习语言时大致上要经过如下几个过程,即听音、辩音、观察、模仿、练习、运用。

笔者认为,树立“对话”意识,运用新课程理念备好课是基础和前提。

一、与教材对话:源于教材,高于教材每一套教材都代表着某一种教学理念和实践方法,教师在使用一套新教材之时,应站在编者的角度钻研全套教材,努力理解和领会教材编写者的教学思想和设计精神,把握教材的特点,使之在我们的教学中得以充分体现。

与教材对话,首先要尊重教材,读透教材;与教材对话,更要超越教材,走向生活。

我们不妨尝试“一课三案”:钻研教材,独立思考,形成“初案”;博采众长,融会贯通,写出“”;课后反思,精益求精,补充“另案”。

江苏版的《牛津小学英语》教材按照话题——功能——结构的体例编写,在备课时,我们可着力于话题生活化,功能结构协调化。

在“初案”中,我们应该重点研读教材,明确教学语言与语境语言,把握关键语句与困难语句;在“教案”形成阶段,我们应分析语用因素,结合师情学情,选择设计各环节活动:课后,结合教学实际再回头看自己的教材解读,及时补充“另案”必不可少。

“另案”中,可以反思一节课对教材处理的成功之举、败笔之处、学生感受,当然,对教材的“再教设计”是最终目的。

我们对教材的研读应该追求从“有它无我”到“有它有我”,最后达到“有我无它”的洒脱境界。

二、与学生对话:关注学情,真心真意学生是学习的主人,我们的“教”应该为学生的“学”服务。

在备课时,教师还应该时时在心中与学生对话,在与学生充分对话的基础上进行的备课活动才能真正体现学生的学习主体地位。

一堂小学英语课不再是简简单单的定义为热热闹闹的师生活动或满堂灌的教师一个人的口语独角戏。

众多专家学者明确指出,中国的小学英语教学,是学生对一门外语的学习,而不是作为第二语言的简单习得。

因此,采用直接法和认知法相结合的教学策略,使其在小学英语课堂中发挥最为恰当的作用,让学生通过一堂课中的经典活动项目,沉淀出他们自身的英语知识和学习能力。

有效教学是“为了提高教师的工作效益、强化过程评价和目标管理的一种现代教学理念”。

所谓“有效”,主要是指通过教师在一段时间的教学之后,学生所获得的具体的进步或发展。

也就是说,学生有无进步或发展是教学有没有效益的唯一指标。

我认为有效教学中的“效”字不仅局限在课堂中的体现,还应体现在教师的课前准备工作中、课后的反思中及长期的关注中。

如果教师在讲课时不具备这些条件,那么即使教师教得十分辛苦,也不能称之为真正有效的教学。

只有这几方面都做到了有效,才能算是真正的有效教学。

一、充分的课前准备工作课前准备工作通俗的讲就是指教师的备课:教具的准备,教师的教学设计,教学任务的布置,教学环境的设置,以及学生课前应做好的相应的准备工作。

比如在教授服饰的课堂上,就要利用学生的衣服来教学,因此,上课前就要求同学们准备好各种衣服。

再如为了突出英语学习的氛围,我们还可以在课后让学生布置英语角,办英语手抄报等,让学生活跃在英语的气息中。

一、与教材对话:源于教材,高于教材
每一套教材都代表着某一种教学理念与实践方法,教师在使用一套新教材之时,应站在编者得角度钻研全套教材,努力理解与领会教材编写者得教学思想与设计精神,把握教材得特点,使之在我们得教学中得以充分体现。

与教材对话,首先要尊重教材,读透教材;与教材对话,更要超越教材,走向生活。

我们不妨尝试一课三案:钻研教材,独立
思考,形成初案;博采众长,融会贯通,写出教案;课后反思,精益求精,补充另案。

江苏版得《牛津小学英语》教材按照话题功能结构得体例编写,在备课时,我们可着力于话题生活化,功能结构协调化。

在初案中,我们应该重点研读教材,明确教学语言与语境语言,把握关键语句与困难语句;在教案形成阶段,我们应分析语用因素,结合师情学情,选择设计各环节活动:课后,结合教学实际再回头瞧自己得教材解读,及时补充另案必不可少。

另案中,可以反思一节课对教材处理得成功之举、败笔之处、学生感受,当然,对教材得再教设计就是最终目得。

我们对教材得研读应该追求从有它无我到有它有我,最后达到有我无它得洒脱境界。

二、与学生对话:关注学情,真心真意
学生就是学习得主人,我们得教应该为学生得学服务。

在备课时,教师还
应该时时在心中与学生对话,在与学生充分对话得基础上进行得备课活动才能真正体现学生得学习主体地位。

其实,真正得有效教学就就是要让学生从浅层次得学会上升到会学与乐学,这样得学习才会让学生得终身学习获益。

在备课过程中,我们还要结合教材内容。

预设大量得与学生得对话。

在这个过程中,我们要注意与学生得对话交流必须付出真心真情。

教师真心真意对待学生,才能让孩子们之间真心真意,课堂才会真实。

这些年得英语教学实践证明,我们已经从期待表演得、热闹得、师生对答如流得课堂转变为期待真实得课堂与真实得交流。

真实得教学问题、自然得教学过程、与谐得教学氛围才能最大程度地促进学生综合语言运用能力得形成。

三、与自己对话:勤于反思,勇于实践
作为教师,我们就是否有勇气常常与自己对话,反思自己教学实践过程中得不足并及时加以弥补呢?叶澜先生曾经说过:一个教师写一辈子教案不一定成为名师,如果一个教师写三年反思可能成为名师。

在备课及上课得过程中我们就是不就是可以常常问自己三个问题:这节课
应该怎么上?在分析教材,研透学情得基础上知其然;这节课为什么要这样上?站在英语教学理论得高度分析教材教法,知其所以然方能掌握规律,举一反三;这节课还可以怎么上?教学就是一门遗憾得艺术,加强反思,及时提升。

知其未尽然才能将遗憾变为自我发展得动力。

有位英语教学专家曾总结过小学英语课堂教学得主要特征:语言就是有声得,所以课堂教学就是听与说得体验:语言就是有形得,所以课堂教学就是读与写得体验;语言就是有情得,所以课堂教学就是情感交流得体验。

我们在备课时亦可结合自己每一节课得教学设计自问:我们得课堂有声、有形、有情吗?我们得学生有思、有感、有收获吗?
在小学英语教学中,教师得语言、教师得教育理念、备课设计都对学生得兴趣、动机与认识水平产生直接得影响。

教学要努力实现以学生为主体,给予学生选择得机会、创造得机会,发挥学生
得自主性与能动性,首先就要从备课人手,通过备课过程中得三对话落实新课程理念,切实提高备课质量。
