Grammar 教学目标 1.学会运用If 引导的条件状语从句。

2.学会运用unless 引导的条件状语从句。

教学重点

2.Unless you try your best,you will not realize your dream. 教学过程
【预学探标】
1.复习前面所学的复合句:宾语从句、时间状语从句和原因状语从句,关键掌握其构成方式以及运用中的注意点。

如:疑问句充当宾语从句要注意语序的变化,时间状语从句要注意主、从句的时态而原因状语从句中特别当心because 与so 不能同时使用(与汉语习惯不相同)。

2.了解条件状语从句的构成:由if 和unless 所引导,关注主句和从句的时态。

3.将下列词组翻译成英语:
1)有时间看电视 _____________________ 2)到家太迟______________________
3)观看访谈节目______________________ 4)参加竞赛节目_________________
5)把某事介绍给我们_________________ 6)从水中抓鱼_________________

【互学析标】
A Using if
Step I 导入
1.教师问学生:What TV programmes will you watch if you finish your homework earlytonight?提醒学生根据自己实际情况用完整的句子回答,如:If I finish my homework early
tonight,Iwill watch the basketball match on TV.教师再问:If it is sunny this Saturday,what will you do ?学生回答:Iwill go to the park if it is sunny this Saturday.板书含有if 的从句,并将划线部分用红笔标出。

2.教师讲解if 从句表示假设的用法,教师说:We use if to talk about the result of a possible action.要特别提醒学生注意黑板上例句中时态的用法,if 从句用一般现在时,主句用一般将来时。

同时,教师补充,主句还可以用may,might 等情态动词,让学生阅读课本第84页的例句。

Step II 呈现
1.教师列举更多的例句:
(1)If we grow more bamboo,giant pandaswill have more food
(2)If we don ’t protect tigers ,they will die.
(3)If he studies harder,he might be one of the top ctudents in his class.
(4)If you send text messages to 1396,you may win two free concert tickets.
教师提醒学生注意后两个例句中的may 和might ,表示“可能会……”
2.提醒学生:We put a comma after the IF-clause when it is the first part of a sentence.
【促学化标】
1.让学生完成A1部分的练习。

教师可以让两人一组互相讨论完成。

2.完成后,让学生在小组中核对答案,教师在行间给予适当指导。

3.让学生独立完成Wor out the rule!然后全班朗读。

4.让学生完成A2的练习,要求学生两人一组进行讨论并填空,然后组内检查。

朗读完整的对话,全班核对答案。

B Using unless
Step I导入
1.先让学生尝试翻译以下两个句子:
(1)除非下雨,否则我们明天要去公园。

We will go to the park unless it rains tomorrow.
(2)除非你帮助我,否则在本月底之前我是完不成这项工作的。

Unless you help me ,Iwill not finish the work before the end of this month.
2.让学生阅读课本第85页上有关unless 的语法说明和例句,教师解释:We can use unless to say about somethingcan only happen or be true in a particular situation.Sometimes we can use if…not to replace unless.并告诉学生刚才翻译的两句话可以用if…not改写:
(1)We will go to the park if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
(2)If you do not help me ,Iwill not finish the work before the end of this month.
教师板书四句话,并划出其中的unless 和if …not.帮助学生加深对unless 的理解。

【促学化标】
1.让学生完成课本第86页的练习,允许学生讨论完成。

2.完成后,让六个学生朗读一个完整的句子,全班核对答案。

3.给学生更多的句子,要求用unless 进行改写:
(1)If you do not read the map carefully,you will get lost easily.
(2) If you do not sleep well,you will not feel comfortable.
(3)If you do not speak the language of the country,you cannot communicate with the local people well
(4)If you do not have enough time, you will not be able to go to many places.
4.让学生独立完成Work out the rules.
5.鼓励学生用unless 练习造句。
