Reading and surfing the Internet are two popular activities nowadays. As for me, I prefer reading to surfing the Internet.

For example, I recently read a book about the history of China, which helped me understand the country's culture and traditions better.
In addition, reading is a relaxing and enjoyable
activity for me. I can immerse myself in a good book and forget about my worries and stress. It's like taking a
mini-vacation without leaving my home. On the other hand, surfing the Internet can be addictive and time-consuming. I often find myself scrolling through social media feeds or
watching videos for hours without realizing how much time has passed.
However, I do use the Internet for certain purposes, such as research, communication, and entertainment. For example, I use the Internet to search for information about a topic I'm interested in, to stay in touch with my friends and family who live far away, and to watch movies and TV shows.
Overall, while both reading and surfing the Internet have their benefits, I prefer reading because it helps me learn and relax at the same time.
