每个模块包括两个单元,第一单元是新语言呈现单元,第二单元是语言扩展和语言练习单元。
在语言学习过程中,学生将要学习、掌握与话题内容相关的单词和短语65个,若干主要语言结构(见教师用书内容目次部分),以及6首歌曲和4首韵律诗和歌谣。

(四)教材处理根据以上对教材的分析,同时针对中国学生学习外语存在一定困难的实际情况,首先给学生创设学习英语的氛围,使学生感到身临其境;其次激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在一系列的活动中,掌握知识;最后通过做游戏对学生所学的知识进行训练,从而达到巩固知识的目的。
二、说学情小学五年级学生已有两年英语的学习基础,对英语有了简单的学习,但部分学生对英语的兴趣不是很高,甚至有厌恶感,学生们回家后巩固时间很少,缺乏有效的巩固手段,练习的机会明显不足,作为语言性学科,听与读是关键的环节,而大多数学生这一点做得不好,这在听力测试时表现得尤为明显。
