Step 1 Leading-in
1.The teacher shows her own problem by pictures:I don't have much time
to travel.
2.Ask students for help:Do you want to help me?
设计意图:通过呈现教师自身的烦恼导入本节话题。
向学生寻求建
议,提高学生学习本节课的积极性。
Step 2 Presentation
1.Show some pictures to know all kinds of problems:
I have to study too much so I don't get enough sleep.
I have too much homework so I don't have any free time to do things I like.
My parents don't allow me to hang out with my friends.
I have too many after-school classes.
I got into a fight with my best friend.
Students learn the key phrases and then learn the sentences.
2. Memory challenge: Ask the students to say the problems according to the pictures.
设计意图:呈现并让学生熟悉本节课中出现的各类问题,并通过记忆挑战检测学生的掌握程度。
Step 3 Mary's problem
1. Look at the pictures and predict: What's Mary's problem?
2. 1a Listening skill(听力技巧): Listen and find out the key words(关键词)

Step 4 Peter's problem
1. Look at the picture and guess: What's Peter's problem? What should he
do?
2. 2a Listen and fill in the blanks with could or should.
Check the answers. Explain the difference between the two words: could和should在用于提建议时,could语气更为委婉。
3. Question: Does he like the advice? Why?
2b Listen again and match the reasons with the advice.
Listening skill(听力技巧): Listen for the details(细节).
4. Listen for a third time, then practice reading the conversation in pairs,
pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Then role-play the
conversation.
5. Group discussion: Can you give him some advice?
Then students try to give Peter their own advice.

设计意图:实现本节课的情感目标,让学生知道虽然生活多姿多彩,但烦恼无处不在。
当遇到问题的时候要选择适合自己的建议,并且相信,一切问题都会得到解决。
