Fast deployment of new applications with total availability for business critical processes.Reliability that makes you forgetEngineered like a mainframe with outstanding self-healing capability. All circuits, processors and memory are constantly monitored to ensure correct and continuous operation. Best suited to the needs of large databases, financial and high volume applications.Manages itself so you don’t have to.Self-managing hardware also maximizes the opportunity for applications to work at peak performance.World’s most advanced OS, Oracle Solaris 11Whole network can be virtualized by mapping physical network entities onto virtualization entitiesSolaris 10 Containers can help applications run on Solaris 11Boot Environment greatly reduces downtime for server updatesHighest security including delegated administration can minimize risks of attacks Minimizes costs of server administration and maintenanceApplication asset protection by non-disruptive upgradesMaximum system operations time due to online systems update abilityProtects business credibility by eliminating information exposure and business disruption risksTopicsReliability that makes you forgetFlexible investment protectionWhen Fujitsu designed Fujitsu SPARC Enterprise M8000 they looked to their long mainframe heritage to provide the quality and robustness needed in a major UNIX business-critical platform. The result is a most reliable, and highly scalable, self-sustaining system. That works well with the world’s most popular business application systems anddatabases. By placing the widest range of error checking and correction systems directly into the hardware, the platform manages itself. This relieves system administrators from most of the difficult diagnostic and recovery tasks required with many other systems. Once you own Fujitsu SPARC Enterprise system you will soon forget the operational problems of the past. Like the engine management systems in the finest cars, everything is monitored and self-managed to ensure all applications work non-stop at the peak of their capability.World’s most advanced OS, Oracle SolarisFujitsu has invested in your future by ensuring that new processors can be installed in existing systems. Even better they can be mixed, on the same system boards and in the same physical partitions, with previous processors. This provides unrivalled investment protection and - as you don’t need to replace servers so often - it can also reduce your overall IT spends. As advances in processor technology have continued, Fujitsu SPARC Enterprise and SPARC 64 processors provide the ability to significantly increase performance over time. You can either add more processors (up to 64 cores with Fujitsu SPARC Enterprise M8000) or employ new processors with almost twice the performance. In the latter case the increased performance comes with almost no increase in data center power consumption or additional heat management. To ensure that all that performance is fully used, support for up to 16 physical partitions and thousands of Solaris Containers lets you quickly and dynamically reconfigure the system for both existing and new business processes. Plus, in conjunction with Fujitsu PRIMECLUSTER middleware you can also implement fully mission-critical clustered solutions, between physical partitions, inside your M8000. Solaris is the only OS that has the scalability, security, and diagnostic features, to fully and quickly comprehend the situation, if a major application problem occurs. That is one of the reasons Solaris has the largest application portfolio and why it is the development platform of choice for many of the world’s major business applications.Technical detailsProcessorProcessor quantity and type 2–16x SPARC64 VII+, SPARC64 VII, SPARC64 VIProcessor options SPARC64 VII+ quad-core processor (3.0GHz, 128KB L1 cache on core, 12MB L2cache per chip)SPARC64 VII quad-core processor (2.88GHz, 128KB L1 cache on core, 6MB L2cache per chip)SPARC64 VI dual-core processor (2.4GHz, 256KB L1 cache on core, 6MB L2 cacheper chip)MemoryMemory slots 128 slotsMemory slot type DDR2 SDRAMMemory capacity (min. – max.) 16GB–1TBMemory protection ECCExtended ECCMemory Mirroring supportMemory PatrollingMemory modules 32GB Memory Expansion (16x 2GB DIMM)64GB Memory Expansion (16x 4GB DIMM)128GB Memory Expansion (16x 8GB DIMM)Drive baysHard disk bay configuration 16x 2.5-inch hot-swap SASHard disk drives 146GB 2.5-inch 10,000rpm300GB 2.5-inch 10,000rpmTape drive bay configuration 1x 3.5-inch hot-swap bayTape drives DAT72 (option)Optical drive bay configuration 1x 128mm bayOptical drives CD-RW/DVD-RW (8xDVD-ROM, 6xDVD-RW, 24xCD/CD-R, 10xCD-RW) InterfacesRemote Cabinet Interface (RCI) 2 portService LAN for XSCF 2 ports (10/100Mbit/s, RJ45)Service serial for XSCF 1 port (RS232C, RJ45)SlotsPCI Express 32x PCI Express (x8, full-height, short)Note Expandable to 112 slots (PCI Express, PCI-X) when using 20x External I/OExpansion UnitsSupported operating systemsSupported operating systems SPARC64 VII+ Oracle Solaris 10 8/07 or laterOracle Solaris 11Oracle Solaris 10 8/07 or laterVIISPARC64Oracle Solaris 11Oracle Solaris 10 11/06 or laterSPARC64VIOracle Solaris 11Operating system release link /sparcenterprise/manual/notes/Server managementService processor eXtended System Control Facility (XSCF) Supported software Enhanced Support FacilityServer System ManagerVirtualization Virtualization features Hardware partitioningDynamic ReconfigurationCapacity on demandSolaris ContainerRAS features Integer register protected by ECCProcessor RAS L1 cache protected by parity and redundancy and L2 cache protected by ECCDynamic way degradation in L1, L2 cache and TLBHardware Instruction RetryDynamic chip/core degradationOperation of processor is recorded automaticallyMemory (mirror configuration)Redundant components Hard disk drive (software RAID)PCI card (multi-path configuration)FanPower supply unitPower systemService processor (XSCF)CPU memory unit (CMU)Hot-swap components I/O unit (IOU)Hard disk drive (software RAID)PCI cardTape drive (DAT)Optical drive (CD-RW/DVD-RW)External I/O expansion unitsFanPower supply unitService processor (XSCF)Degradation features Dynamic degradation MemoryHard disk drive (software RAID)FanPower supply unitService processor (XSCF)CPU memory unit (CMU)degradationStaticProcessor (chip, core, cache)MemoryI/O unit (IOU)Hard disk drivePCI cardsCrossbarFanPower supply unitDimensions / WeightFloor-stand (W x D x H) 750 x 1,260 x 1,800 mm29.5 x 49.6 x 70.9 inchesWeight 700 kg1,543 lb.EnvironmentSound pressure (LpAm) 67 dB (A)Operating ambient temperature 5–32°C (depending on altitude)41–89.6°F (depending on altitude)Operating relative humidity 20–80%Operating altitude 0–3,000 m0–10,000 ftElectrical valuesRated voltage range Single-phase AC 200–240 V(delta)AC 200–240 V3-phaseAC 380–415 V(star)3-phaseRated frequency range 50/60 HzActive power max. 10.50 kWApparent power max. 10.98 kVAHeat emission 37,800 kJ/hComplianceEurope CERoHSUSA/Canada FCCUL/CSAJapan VCCIChina Chinese RoHSKorea MICTaiwan BSMICompliance note There is general compliance with the safety requirements of major countries.National approvals required in order to satisfy statutory regulations or for otherreasons can be applied for on request.Warranty and support servicesService link /supportMore informationIn addition to Fujitsu SPARC EnterpriseM8000, Fujitsu provides a range of platform solutions. 富士通软件BS2000 VM2000 V11.0虚拟机系统数据表说明书

富士通软件BS2000 VM2000 V11.0虚拟机系统数据表说明书

DatasheetFUJITSU Software BS2000 VM2000 V11.0Virtual Machine SystemVirtual machine system for BS2000 SE ServersA virtual infrastructure like VM2000 reduces IT costs by increasing efficiency, flexibility and response capability. It provides IT resource allocation on-the-fly in response to new business requirements and service requests. Extremely high levels of server utilization are a byproduct. The virtual machine system VM2000 supports the concurrent operation of several BS2000 systems on a single server. The server operating resources of a real server can be allocated to up to 32 virtual BS2000 systems (guest systems). The guest systems are totally segregated from one another, i.e. problems in one guest system (up to total crash) have no impact on the rest. The guest systems running under VM2000 have the same functionality as in native mode in terms of command set, networking capability, and testing and debugging tools. A central VM accounting function is available for global accounting of the guest systems. The advantage of using VM2000 as compared with the use of multiple servers is the possibility of consolidation with the aim of providing more efficient use of hardware resources, human resources and infrastructure.VM2000 V11.0 is the VM2000 version that supports the FUJITSU Server BS2000 SE Series.■Concurrent operation of up to 32 BS2000 systems on one server unit x86 and up to 15 BS2000 systems on one server unit /390 ■Enables consolidation with the aim of providing more efficient use of hardware resources, human resources and infrastructure■Totally segregated system environments ■Production, development, testing or sensitive applications can beinsulated from one another■Work load balancing between the systems ■Computing power not required from one system can be used byanother system■Server CPU capacity quota can be allocated to the guest systems ■The computing capacity assignment to the systems can beensured corresponding to the business priority Features and benefitsFunctional descriptionIn order to optimize the handling of diverse IT tasks, there is a growing requirement for the BS2000 operating system to support different system environments concurrently. VM2000 supports concurrent operation of different system environments on one server, each totally insulated from the others. This allows the deployment options outlined below.Concurrent operation of several production systemsSometimes it is not possible to run all production applications of an enterprise on the same system because different system environments are required. It can be necessary to separate sensitive applications (e.g. payroll accounting) from other production applications. The applications have to be run in different systems. VM2000 enables setting up this scenario on one physical server.Concurrent production, development and testingTest systems always harbour an inherent risk of generating errors. For this reason it is not practice to perform tests in parallel with live operation on production systems. VM2000 allows this. Test and production systems can run on the same installation because system errors in one system have no impact on the other concurrently active systems. With VM2000, the individual production applications can be tested in a second guest system until all errors have been eliminated. Only then are the applications deployed in the production system. Differentiated systems for e.g. service providersData centers that provide different customers with computing services (for production or backup) must have a number of computers available to support the different system environments necessary for this. VM2000 gives data center operators the option of installing a single high-performance computer, thus saving on floor space as well as on administrative overhead. VM2000 offers a powerful service level management that enables to guarantee a fixed server CPU quota to every customer.Balancing of load peaks, use for backup conceptsVM2000 also includes a function enabling the main memory of a VM to be increased or reduced in size dynamically, allowing further optimization of deployment scenarios. With this feature, there is greater scope for balancing out load peaks on guest systems; temporary virtual mac hines can be set up “on the fly” and backup guest systems can be provided with minimal use of resources – all without the need to terminate live guest systems.VM definitionEach BS2000 VM on a server unit of a SE server owns a configuration description , the VM definition. A VM definition is identified by the VM name and contains the provided or currently assigned attributes, resources and devices designated for the VM and also the state of VM.A persistent VM definition is created for VMs with the attribute PERSISTENT and is also available after a restart of a server unit. A persistent VM is automatically set up again and can be restarted according to the specifications.Program descriptionHypervisorThe Hypervisor controls the execution of the guest systems in the virtual machines (VMs). Especially it realizes the virtualization of the global resources CPU and main memory and activates the ready-to-run guest systems on the real CPUs (scheduling). The Hypervisor runs on a server unit /390 in a separate, specially privileged functional status, which permits firmware settings that isolate VM resources. On a server unit x86 the Xen hypervisor takes over this role, whereat some of the hypervisor tasks for the BS2000 guest system are done by X2000 (carrier system based on Linux). MonitorThe monitor realizes the interfaces from VM2000 to other system components and to the outside world. The administration of theVM2000 system is done within the monitor system. Two roles with different privileges exist: The administration of the overall VM2000 system and the administration of a single VM. In this respect, standardized BS2000 user interfaces are provided. The following functions are implemented in the monitor:■Command server for the VM2000 commands■Message output■VM2000 accounting■Management of the administration dialogs and operation of virtual consoles■VM2000 hardware error logging■Administration of VM definition (SU /390 only)VM1 – VMnThe individual virtual machines encapsulate the virtualized hardware environment for the monitor system (VM1) and for the guest systems (VM2 - VMn). Each VM can be administrated discretely.Guest systemsThe (BS2000) systems running in the VMs are known as (BS2000) guest systems. Guest systems essentially use the hardware resources assigned to their VM (CPU, main memory, devices) directly, i.e. without the Hypervisor as intermediary. The instruction set, the possibility of communication in computer networks as well as the testing and diagnostic aids of all guest systems running under VM2000 correspond to the native mode. The operating of the individual guest systems occurs via a console window on the SE manager. With a HNC network connections to monitor system and all other guest systems can be built on server unit /390. The data transfer between the different BS2000 guest systems can be done internally in the HNC, without burdening the network.TopicsOn server units x86, the VMs share the integrated LAN controllers of the server unit. In addition, firmware-based inter-VM communication (VMnet) is offered. The number of guest systems is dependent on the architecture of the server unit. On server unit x86 up to 32 BS2000 VMs are release, on the SU /390 up to 15. Linux and Windows guest systems on server unit x86Besides VMs with BS2000 guest systems on server unit x86 VMs with Linux and Windows guest systems can be set up, the so-called XenVMs.XenVMS are only managed via the SE manager. They are not known in VM2000. Only in the display of global resources they are listed under the keyword FOREIGN.Multiprocessor level of a VMThe maximum multiprocessor level (number of virtual CPUs) of a VM on one server unit x86 is 32; on one server units /390 the maximum multiprocessor level has been increased from 8 to 16.At the same time, the maximum multiprocessor degree of a VM is limited by the number of physical CPUs, which are released for the BS2000 operating on the server unit.Technical DetailsRequirementsTechnical Requirements Hardware FUJITSU Server BS2000 SE series, SE300/SE500/SE700(B)- on server units x86 the X2000 carrier system as of V6.2 is required. Figure 1: The Oracle E-Business Suite applications.Moving EBS to OCI enables organizations to take advantage of cloud infrastructuredesigned to support Oracle applications and with a price/performance that far outstripsofferings such as Amazon Web Services (AWS):n n Lower total cost of ownership (TCO). Hosting EBS on OCI offers a total cost of ownership (TCO) that is 38% lower than an on-premises deployment and 44% lower than a similar deployment on AWS.1n n Improved performance. OCI offers performance guarantees 2X - 10X improvement in performance than an on-premises deployment.2 n n Consistent quality of experience (QoE). Applications hosted on OCI are accessibleto retail locations worldwide, eliminating variability across the retail enterprise.n n Better support for innovation. Cloud-based infrastructure provides greater flexibility, scalability, and agility than an on-premises deployment.n n Improved reliability and operational efficiency. Oracle Cloud AutonomousDatabase uses machine learning (ML) to eliminate human labor, human error, andmanual tuning. When migrating EBS to the cloud, it is essential to provide enterprise-level threat protectionfor the application and the data. Fortinet has partnered with Oracle to provide best-of-breedsecurity solutions that deploy natively within OCI. This provides retailers with a number ofkey security benefits:n n Lower risk and improved compliance. Fortinet’s broad, integrated, and ML-automated threat protection minimizes the impact of any breaches and protects theprivacy and integrity of customer data.n n Easier end-to-end security management. Lean retail IT teams benefit from single-pane-of-glass visibility and management ofon-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.n n Easy, consistent provisioning. OCI-native Fortinet solutions are available via the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Tight integration between Fortinet and OCI facilitates configuration and minimizes security gaps.n n Simplified billing. Oracle customers can use Universal Credits within the Oracle Cloud Marketplace to pay for Fortinet solutions and services on OCI.Figure 2: Reference architecture for securing Oracle applications with Fortinet solutions on OCI.Reference Architecture and Use CasesTo help retail organizations achieve optimal performance and security in OCI, Fortinet andOracle have published a security reference architecture.Based on this reference architecture, retailers can deploy secure solutions on OCI for a varietyof use cases, including terraform templates in OCI for High Availability implementations. T wocommon use cases are providing an omnichannel shopping experience for customers andmaintaining PCI DSS compliance for distributed company networks.1. Omnichannel experienceAs retail locations work to provide an omnichannel shopping experience for customers,a move from on-premises infrastructure to OCI is a logical choice. OCI providesthe flexibility and scalability required to support an optimal shopping experience forcustomers in-store and online.Fortinet provides solutions to help retailers provide secure omnichannel shoppingexperiences:n Optimized routing. FortiGate next-generation firewalls (NGFWs) include securensoftware-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN) functionality to provide a securecloud on-ramp to resources hosted on OCI.n Secure branch networking. Secure SD-Branch solutions enable retailers to offer secure guest wireless access segmented from nbusiness networks.nn Security integration. Secure SD-WAN and SD-Branch provide security integration via the Fortinet Security Fabric, allowingcentralized monitoring and management from a single pane of glass.By combining these on-site solutions with infrastructure hosted in Oracle cloud, retailers can provide an omnichannel customer experience without sacrificing security.2. PCI DSS complianceWhile engaging in efforts to provide omnichannel shopping experiences and improve operational efficiency by leveraging cloud-based infrastructure, regulatory compliance is still a concern. Retailers must maintain PCI DSS compliance across their rapidly expanding and evolving networks. The centralized visibility provided by the Fortinet Security Fabric is a major asset for organizations attempting to maintain regulatory compliance in sprawling networks because it enables centralized monitoring and security of protected data. In addition to this, Fortinet offers targeted solutions for many of retailers’ regulatory needs:n Secure communications. Secure SD-WAN, integrated into all FortiGate NGFWs, ensures that sensitive data is encrypted as nit travels outside the corporate network.n Policy enforcement. FortiNAC network access control solutions, deployed as part of Secure SD-Branch, enforcencompliance with security policies before devices are permitted to access the network.n Web application firewall (WAFs). FortiWeb WAFs, deployed on OCI, enable compliance with PCI DSS Requirement 6.6, nwhich mandates use of a WAF or comprehensive security reviews for web applications.Securely Making the Move to OCIShifting Oracle applications, such as EBS, to OCI is the ideal choice for retailers already using these applications. By securing these applications with Fortinet solutions, available in cloud-native form factors on OCI and as physical appliances, organizations can transition from on-premises to OCI while ensuring security and compliance with PCI DSS.Security is a shared responsibility between the customer and OCI. Fortinet provides security products to protect EBS applications from security threats outside and within tiers by deploying a zero-trust environment. In E-Signatures and E-Records, the validations are available for critical supply chain management business events for Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle Inventory Management, and Oracle Quality Inspection Management.Using E-Signatures and E-Records, you can search for, view, and download e-records that contain information about transactions and their e-signature history. You can also specify the supply chain management transaction types for which e-signatures are required, and set up the approval process flows that must be followed.2Electronic RecordsOverview of Electronic Records Work AreaThe Electronic Records work area displays information about supply chain management transactions for which an approval process is initiated or completed. To view the Electronic Records work area, select Electronic Records in the Navigator. In the Electronic Records work area:•Use e-record details to search for e-records in the secure e-record repository and view transaction details.•View signature history and comments for transactions.•View and print an e-record as a PDF file. An e-record includes details of transactions, the author, and information about transactions and their e-signature history.•Auditors can search for Source Identifier, Electronic Record, or Electronic Identifier in the Electronic Record Content field.E-Signatures and E-Records Process FlowE-Signatures and E-Records facilitates secure transactions for business events in Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Quality Inspection Management. The e-signatures and e-records approval processes can be of the following types:•Inline approval process: In this process, approvals must be obtained before a transaction is saved. You can't save a transaction if the record is rejected.•Deferred approval process: In this process, transactions are saved in Pending Approval status before initiating the e-signature process. The transaction is updated to Approved status after the approvals are obtained. How the Inline E-Signature Approval Process WorksHere's the inline approval process workflow. It provides an overview of the inline e-signatures and e-records process, including its integration with the applications requesting approvals using e-signatures.These steps provide an overview of the inline e-signatures and e-records process:1. A user initiates the approval process for a transaction from one of the integrated supply chain managementapplications.2.The E-Signatures and E-Records process is used to determine if an e-signature is required.3.If an e-signature is required, the Oracle BPM approval task flow is invoked with a task payload.4.The E-Signature page opens and displays the e-record details and status.5.If the user is also an initiator, the user enters the e-signature details and approves the e-record.6. A notification is sent to other approvers through Oracle notifications.7.Other approvers view the Pending Notifications in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, and click the notificationto open and approve the E-Signature page.8.On the E-Signature page, the other approvers read the e-record, enter their user ID and password, and approveit. Approvers can refresh the E-Signature page to update the e-record status displayed on the page.9.On receiving the approval from E-Signatures and E-Records, the user changes the transaction status, andcommits the transaction. How the Deferred E-Signature Approval Process WorksHere's the deferred approval process workflow. It provides an overview of the deferred e-signatures and e-records process, including its integration with the applications requesting approvals using e-signatures.These steps provide an overview of the deferred e-signatures and e-records process:1. A user initiates the approval process for a transaction from one of the integrated supply chain managementapplications.2.The E-Signatures and E-Records API is called to determine if an e-signature is required.3.If an e-signature is required, the Oracle BPM approval task flow is invoked with a task payload and thetransaction is set to Pending Approval status.4.Notifications are sent to all approvers through Oracle notifications.5.The approvers view the Pending Notifications in Fusion Applications, and click the notification to view theapproval page.6.On the approval page, the approvers read the e-record, enter their user ID and password, and approve it orreject it.7.When all required approvals are obtained the transaction is set to Approved status. If the record is rejected, thetransaction is set to Draft status. How You Use E-SignaturesYou can use e-signatures to verify supply chain transactions in Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Quality Inspection Management.Inline E-Signature Approval ProcessWhen you initiate an inline approval process from an application, the following two actions happen in parallel:•Business process management (BPM) notifications are sent to all approvers, including the initiators if they are also approvers. These notifications can be viewed under Pending Notifications on the Fusion Applications dashboard. The approvers view the Pending Notifications, click the notification to view the e-record approval page, read the e-record, and approve it.•The E-Signature page opens and displays e-record and status information. You can refresh the page to retrieve and view the latest status. You can also provide your own approval, if you initiated the approval process. Aninitiator uses the inline signature region to provide approval without navigating away to the BPM notifications. If the process is approved, then on receipt of the approval status from E-Signatures and E-Records, the transaction status is updated and committed in the application that initiated the approval process.Deferred E-Signature Approval ProcessWhen you initiate a deferred approval process from an application, the following process is initiated:1.The transaction is set to Pending Approval status and BPM notifications are sent to all approvers. Thenotifications can be viewed under Pending Notifications on the Fusion Applications dashboard.2.The approvers view the Pending Notifications, click the notification to view the e-record approval page, read thee-record, and approve it.3.If the process is approved, then on receipt of the approval status from E-Signatures and E-Records, thetransaction status is updated to Approved and committed in the application that initiated the approval process. If the process is rejected, the transaction status is updated to Draft.E-Signature PageThe following table provides the information and actions available on the E-Signature page. What's an electronic record?E-records contain information about transactions derived from the Oracle Business Process Management suite. They also track history of signatures and approvals. You can download and view an e-record for a transaction from the Electronic Records work area or from the E-Signature page that appears when the approval process is initiated from Manufacturing, Inventory Management, or Quality Inspection Management.FAQs for E-SignaturesWho can approve a transaction that requires an e-signature? Approvers for transactions that require an e-signature are defined using the Manage T ask Configurations for Supply Chain Management setup task in Setup and Maintenance.A user can be both an initiator and an approver of an e-signature.Where can someone approve a transaction that requires an e-signature?If users initiating a transaction are also approvers for the transaction, they see the Initiator Approval section on the E-Signature page where they can approve e-signatures.If other users in the task flow must approve the transaction first, this section appears only when a user becomes eligible to approve the transaction in accordance with the task flow. Other approvers can approve the transactions through the notifications in the BPM worklist page or from the notifications on the home page of their application.Where can I find the e-signature history of an electronic record? You can search for the e-signature history of an electronic record from the Electronic Record section.Where can I see the list of signers of an e-signature?You can view the list of signers required to approve an e-signature and e-signature status in the Approvers section of the E-Signature page. The section displays BPM information about the transaction tasks and subtasks. When an approval process is initiated from an application, BPM notifications are sent to all signers. Refresh the page for viewing the latest information. Who can view an electronic record? You need to have the View Electronic Records and Signatures (EDR_VIEW_RECORDS_ESIGNATURES_PRIV) privilege to view an electronic record.。

FUJITSU软件BS2000 HIPLEX MSCF V8.0 数据手册说明书

FUJITSU软件BS2000 HIPLEX MSCF V8.0 数据手册说明书

DatasheetFUJITSU Software BS2000 HIPLEX MSCF V8.0Highly Integrated System ComplexOperational, capacity and availability networks for BS2000 systemsHIPLEX (Highly Integrated System Complex) is the system designed by Fujitsu Technology Solutions to implement a load sharing cluster and an availability cluster of multiple BS2000 business servers. Each server attached to the HIPLEX is referred to as a cluster element (CE). HIPLEX MSCF establishes the basic structures for load sharing and availability clusters with up to 164 BS2000 business servers, as well as for distributedapplications. The HIPLEX servers attached to the HIPLEX MSCF network must be networked together via FUJITSU Software BS2000 openNetServer.HIPLEX MSCF can implement four kinds of coupled systems which build upon one another:Loosely Coupled System(LCS) with up to 164 BS2000 servers for job control, catalog access and job monitoring using JVs in the network. Closely Coupled System (CCS) The CCS network includes LCS functionality and adds password protection as well as basic functions for SPVS –and XCS-Coupled Systems.Shared Pubset – SPVS Coupled System with shared pubsets and master reconfiguration for up to 16 BS2000 Servers per pubset. The SPVSCoupled System includes CCS- functionality.Cross Coupled System (XCS) with up to 16 BS2000 servers and XCS pubset for consistent cluster administration and functions for distributed applications. The XCS Coupled System includes SPVS- functionality.LCS networkIn the LCS network HIPLEX MSCF extends the initially CE-local basicfunctions ofcatalogue access, file access, starting ENTER jobs,on the HIPLEX MSCF network. Using job variables a load-sharing cluster can be configured in which it is possible with JVs to define dependencies between jobs and/or programs and to achieve synchronous and asynchronous event control of the production process.SPVS networkIn the SPVS Coupled System some or all the cluster elements of a HIPLEX operate at least one shared pubset. In the SPVS Coupled System there is a master CE (master sharer), which carries out the meta operations (catalog accesses) for accessing the shared pubset, for the other CEs (slave sharers) in the shared pubset. Data access to the shared pubset on the other hand is carried out by each CE. Once a backup master has been defined out of the group of slave sharers, then automatic changeover of master takes place in the event of a master failure.XCS networkThe XCS network is a tighter coupled system than the SPVS Coupled System. In the SPVS Coupled System a number of cluster elements of the MSCF network are interconnected, but usually not all.Consequently in the SPVS Coupled System there is no view shared by each network subscriber of all the other subscribers in the network. Each network subscriber sees only the CEs to which he has an MSCF link. In the XCS network, by contrast, HIPLEX MSCF combines up to 16 cluster elements, which are interconnected via a BCAM sub-network, very closely together: the cluster elements in the network have BCAM links to every other CE in the XCS network. Via a task on each subscriber in the XCS network, HIPLEX MSCF ensures coordinated operation of the network. The administration of the XCS CoupledSystem is carried out via a shared pubset, which all the CEs in the XCS Coupled System operate jointly, the XCS pubset.Management of the XCS networkPrior to building up the XCS Coupled System, the remote catalogs of network subscribers, which should later be accessible from a particular CE are recorded in the MRSCATs in the specified CE. Then the initiative to subscribe to a network can be taken by each CE individually. As soon as HIPLEX MSCF starts with a modified configuration file (XCS configuration manager) the new network subscriber is made known to all the other existing network subscribers. Conversely, the new network member learns which other CEs are subscribing to thenetwork. The exit of a CE from the network is similarly communicated to all the remaining network subscribers. For the users, subscription to the XCS network means the extension of services on to the network. In addition to the basic functions these includethe Distributed Lock Manager, shared File System (UPAM, FASTPAM, DIV), shared PLAM libraries. These functions are no longer available to a CE after it has quit the XCS network.Catalog access (all network types)HIPLEX MSCF permits access to system catalogs (TSOSCATs) from cluster elements subscribing to the network. This is achieved by unique catalog IDs for the system catalogs which apply across the MSCF network. In the event of a CE failure, its system catalog can be imported to a CE and thus remains available to the remainder of the MSCF network.File access (SPVS-, XCS networks)The Shared Pubset function enables up to 16 servers to operate ashared pubset. The sharing granule is the file. One of the CEs becomes the master which administers the meta data of the shared pubset and performs operations on meta data, e.g. OPEN/CLOSE operations, for all the other CEs (slaves). These operations are initiated via the BCAM links between the CEs. Access to the data of the shared pubset, by contrast, takes place via the direct hardware path between CE and shared pubset. In comparison to the procedure with shared private disk (SPD), the analogous function in relation to private disks, with shared pubsets the lockout protocol is not applicable to disk. This smallcommunication overhead leads to a high transmission rate, which is largely determined by the data transfer rate of the disk subsystem and which is not diminished even by a high OPEN/CLOSE rate. The XCS pubset is the central shared pubset, which contains the meta data of the XCS network. The XCM manages the meta data andthereby also the network In contrast to other pubsets, the XCS pubset has to be attached to all the BS2000 servers which subscribe to the HIPLEX MSCF network.Reconfiguration of shared pubsetsTo cover the possibility of a master failure, a slave CE is predefined as a backup master. Via live monitoring, which is based on a query of specific counters in the SPVS pubset and on a periodic check of the BCAM link, the backup master initiates an automatic recovery and takes on the new role of master CE. Via XCM all the networksubscribers which are still active are informed about the configuration change. Where a slave failure occurs, this is similarly configured by XCM out of the network and communicated to the rest of the network (consistent display). In addition, on the master all the resource-locks held by the slave are replaced, i.e. the resources are released for the rest of the network.Job variablesThe software products HIPLEX MSCF and FUJITSU Software BS2000 JV make job variables and conditional job control available across the TopicsMSCF network. Their uses include job distribution and monitoring in the MSCF network.Static Load sharingHIPLEX MSCF provides functions relating to job distribution and monitoring within the HIPLEX MSCF network. After the network has been set up, jobs can be initiated and distributed to any of the network partners and their status monitored across the network. For distributing jobs the target CE can be addressed directly via a BCAM name or indirectly via job variables. This enables user-driven load sharing in accordance with the distribution of resources in the network. The job variables allow cross-CE dependencies between jobs to be taken into consideration. Job distribution can also be automated using products like FUJITSU Software BS2000 AVAS (job networks covering several CEs) or FUJITSU Software BS2000 HIPLEX AF (planned relocation of applications).Dynamic Load Sharing (XCS network with HIPLEX JMS)HIPLEX JMS extends the highly efficient Job-Management System (JMS) on each BS2000 server to BS2000 multi-servers. In an XCS network, this allows an optimizing and system-driven distribution of batch loads. The basis is formed by the server-local JMSs with their TU schedulers, job classes, streams and a class scheduler per server. Before the start of a job, HIPLEX JMS does a search for the server with the lightest load. It does this by performing a network-wide job class analysis across the XCS systems and then, with the aid of the local JMS, starts the job on the server that currently has the lightest load. The request for dynamic distribution for a job is made by means of the new host parameter *ANY in the ENTER-JOB, ENTER-PROCEDURE commands. Dynamic and static job distribution is of course possible concurrently in an XCS network (for different jobs).Availability cluster (SPVS-, XCS networks)The failure of a CE in the MSCF network is recognized by HIPLEX MSCF. Subsequently, a reconfiguration of the network takes place. Furthermore, HIPLEX AF can use the failure data coming from HIPLEX MSCF and fully automatically relocate applications from the failed CE to another CE which is still working. In order to do this, HIPLEX AF switches the pubsets required by the applications and the network access over to the new CE (fail-over functionality). Shared pubsets do not need to be switched over. Distributed Lock Manager (DLM, XCS network)DLM is the basic structure implemented in HIPLEX MSCF to manage competition for access to resources in distributed applications, e.g. in ORACLE PARALLEL SERVER. DLM possesses various types of interconvertible locks. Using these, finely granular locks can first be defined and then very flexibly managed. By distributing to all the CEs the DLM is fail-safe, i.e. using XCM it can successfully be reconfigured in the event of a CE failure.Shared file system (XCS network)Based on DLM and HIPLEX MSCF in a shared file system (UPAM, FASTPAM, DIV) a file in an XCS pubset can be shared at data record level, i.e. the lock granule is a data block: Two or more CEs can simultaneously gain read and/or write access to various data records in one and the same file.Shared library (XCS network)With HIPLEX MSCF, DLM and FUJITSU Software BS2000 LMS as of V3.4, all PLAM-libraries on shared pubsets are automatically “shared libraries”. All CEs , which are members of a XCS Coupled System, can open them. Library elements are the locked objects.Fast crash-monitoring with HIPLEX AF V3.3Usually a HIPLEX-cluster is controlled via shared pubsets and/or MSCF-links. If HIPLEX AF V3.3 is installed partner systems within a HIPLEX are additionally capable of controlling the cluster via the Live-Monitor provided by HIPLEX AF V3.3. This means that a partner-crash is noticed within seconds. The failover-procedure can start immediately. This failover-speedup reduces overall system downtime.Technical DetailsRequirementsTechnical Requirements Hardware BS2000 Business Server of the SE, S and SQ SeriesTechnical Requirements Software BS2000 OSD/BC V10.0 (for S-servers) respectivelyOSD/XC V10.0 (for SE and SQ servers)openNetServer V3.6JV V15.1 (optional)Demands on the user Knowledge of BS2000 and multi-systems / HIPLEXInstallation and operationOperating mode Time-sharing modeImplementation language SPL, AssemblerUser interface Commands in English, message texts in German/English (optional)Installation By the customer according to the Release NoticeDocumentation and trainingDocumentation HIPLEX MSCF V6.0 (BS2000) user manual(also applies to V8.0)Training See course offer (German)PurchasingConditions This software product can be leased by the customer in accordance with theconditions for the use of software products.Ordering and delivery This software product may be obtained from your local Fujitsu TechnologySolutions GmbH regional office.Products/fts/products/In addition to BS2000, Fujitsu offers a full portfolio of other computing products: ■ Storage systems: ETERNUS■ Server: PRIMERGY, PRIMEQUEST, Fujitsu SPARC M10, BS2000 Mainframe■ Client Computing Devices: LIFEBOOK, STYLISTIC, ESPRIMO, FUTRO, CELSIUS ■ Peripherals: Fujitsu Displays, Accessories ■ Software ■ Network Solutions/fts/solutions Infrastructure Solutions are customer offerings created by bringing Fujitsu’sproducts, services and technologies together with those from partners.Industry Solutions are tailored to meet the needs of specific verticals.Business and Technology Solutions provide a variety of technologies developed to tackle specific business issues such as security and sustainability, across many verticals.

3PAR除了Peer Persistence(Storage Federation的一个特性)外,还提供了其他几个Persistent特性。

This is particularly true when trying to capture the complexity of interactions among people, resources, products, and business processes distributed over geographic space. For many centuries people have relied on maps to capture and simplify these complex relationships, turning them into readily consumable, powerful packages of unambiguous information. Beginning with Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Application Server 10g and now expanded with Oracle Database 11g and the Fusion Middleware products, the basic Oracle platform delivers powerful, universally understood geospatial capabilities to every developer.Every Oracle Database includes extensive spatial capabilities in the Oracle Locator feature. Oracle Spatial and Graph option for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition expands Oracle Locator functionality with support for geocoding, routing, and advanced spatial data models to manage topologies, networks, linear referencing, gridded data and georaster imagery. Users can load all types of geometric data into Oracle Database, create spatial indexes, and issue spatial queries through SQL. Because of this, Oracle Database is an industry standard for managing geospatial data.Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer complements the geographic data management capacity of Oracle Database by providing a generic web-based means of delivering and viewing any geospatial data in the database. This creates enormous potential for analyzing and understanding the geographic component(s) of any business, by unlocking the enterprise information in many corporate warehouses and making it available in easy to use mapping applications. For instance, business applications such as Field Service, Transportation and Logistics, Product Lifecycle Management, Human Resources, and Real Estate commonly render and visualize the massive amount of data they control because there is a geographic component such as an address tied to the data. Developers of location-based services, data publishers in state and local government, and architects of web services and more traditional applications can all easily integrate MapViewer into their web-based solutions.2Usage ScenariosCommon use cases include reporting (e.g. sales by region), proximity search (stores or service providers nearby), and analysis (asset locations and condition, and top N insured properties within projected hurricane track). Consequently MapViewer is integrated into enterprise applications such as work and asset management, field service, human capital management, inventory management, and business intelligence dashboards. Similarly it is used in web sites for store locators, coverage and jurisdiction information, or public works project information. ReportingA map is often used as a specialized chart or graph type to present information such as state-wise sales performance (Figure 1),Figure 1: Sales Performance34or store locations and their current inventory levels (Figure 2 below).Figure 2: Store locations with inventory levelsProximity SearchThe following screenshots (Figure 3 and Figure 4) show the use of maps as a search interface. In both cases the map is used as an interactive UI component for first specifying search criteria and subsequently displaying the search results. In the first example (Figure 3) the user is searching for incidents that occurred within a specific distance from a location (a park) identified by clicking on the map.5Figure 3: Incidents within a specific distance from a locationThe second example (Figure 4) shows a summary (aggregate) report of demographic information for census areas within specified drive times from a point clicked on the map.Figure 4: Summary report of demographics within specified drive timesAnalysisThe second example above (Figure 4) is also an instance of displaying the results of a spatialanalysis query (compute drive time polygons and aggregate census demographics) on a map. This section includes additional similar examples.6Figure 5 displays the result of a network analysis (traveling salesperson tour) that computes a near optimal tour between specified locations.Figure 5: Traveling salesperson tourThe screenshot below (Figure 6) shows the result of an Asset Condition Score analysis for agiven area of interest. The area of interest in this case is the current map extent or area displayed in the map window. The asset condition score is computed only for those assets (pipelines in thisinstance) that are within the current map extent.Figure 6: Asset Condition Score analysis in an area of interestThe next example (Figure 7) shows how multiple metrics may be displayed on a map image. The user selects a section of the gaming establishment’s floor from the layout map on the left and is presented with a heatmap and tabular report on the right. These show a summary report of thecash in, win/loss, and numbers of players at individual machines within the selected area ofinterest.7Figure 7: Floorplan layout map with heatmap and tabular reportFeature OverviewThe MapViewer component in Fusion Middleware is written in Java and runs inside the Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) or Glassfish Server. When it is up and running, MapViewer listens for client requests, which can range from map requests to administrative requests such as defining a data source or listing predefined maps in a data source. All requests will be sent using the HTTP POST method, with the content of the requests encoded in an XML format. The companion white paper “Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer Primer” (OTN MapViewer Training page) and the MapViewer user guide provide further details on the technology and functionality. This section is a very brief overview of MapViewer functionality.Starting with Oracle Fusion Middleware10g, MapViewer includes a new suite of technologies called Oracle Maps, that consists of a map tile server, a dynamic geospatial query service known as the Feature of Interest (FOI) server, and a Javascript based web mapping client library. The map tile server automatically fetches and serves cached map image tiles, rendered byMapViewer or other web-enabled map providers, to web application clients. The clients can thenautomatically stitch multiple map image tiles into a seamless large base map. Because the map89 image tiles are pre-generated and cached, the application users will experience fast map viewing performance. The feature of interest server renders spatial feature layers managed by Oracle Spatial and Graph, as well as individual geospatial features (points, lines, or polygons) created by an application. Unlike the cached image tiles, which typically represent static content, FOIs are dynamic and represent real-time database or application contents. The dynamic FOIs and the static cached base map enable you to build Web mapping applications. The JavaScript mapping client is a browser side map display engine that fetches map contentfrom the servers and presents it to client applications. It also provides customizable map-related user interaction control, such as map dragging and clicking, for the application. A sample Oracle Maps application is shown below.Figure 8: A Sample Oracle Maps ApplicationThe sample application displays points of interest (customers) on a base map. The map consists of two layers:•The base map layer displays the ocean, county boundaries, cities, and highways. •The FOI layer displays customer locations as markers on top of the base map.In addition to these two layers, a scale bar is displayed in the lower-left corner of the map, and a navigation panel is displayed in the upper-right corner. The application user can use the mouse to drag the map. When this happens, new image tiles and FOIs are automatically fetched for the spatial region that the map currently covers.Oracle Maps client applications running inside web browsers are pure HTML and JavaScript pages that do not require any plug-ins. Therefore, you can build the application using any web technology that delivers content as pure HTML. Such technologies include JavaServer Pages, Java Servlets, ASP, PHP, and .NET C#. MapViewer 11g comes with over 50 tutorials illustrating various aspects of the Oracle Maps functionality.Besides the basic functionality of high performance interactive rendering of geospatial content stored in an Oracle Database there are interfaces that help developers extend and enhance MapViewer. Some of them are:•Custom Map Tile Provider interfaceThe Oracle Maps API provides a generic get map tile interface. This lets developers use map tiles from a 3rd party provider (such as Nokia) in their MapViewer application. So the base map or imagery could come from an external online service while the user or application specific content (e.g. Features of Interest) are retrieved from an Oracle database.•Custom (external) Attribute Data Provider SupportMapViewer now supports middle-tier joins of external attribute data (such as sales) with geometries stored in Oracle Spatial and Graph, providing even more thematic mapping possibilities.•Custom Spatial Data Provider SupportMapViewer provides a generic spatial data provider interface. This interface lets developers extend MapViewer to work with file-based data sources such as ESRI shapefiles or other database software that manages geospatial information. The following section briefly describes MapViewer application development with Oracle tools such as JDeveloper or Application Express (APEX). The subsequent section presents examples of using some of the features outlined above in this section.Developing MapViewer ApplicationsMapViewer has XML, Java, and Javascript APIs for application development. These, combined with Oracle development tools, make it simple to develop web-mapping applications. There are10Oracle JDeveloper 11g contains a rich feature set of rapid application development components known as the Application Development Framework (ADF) and associated set of Data Visualization Tools (DVT), or components, such as dials, gauges and charts. ADF includes Java Server Faces compliant components known as ADF Faces that include data visualization components. The DVT GeoMap component is one of them. It exposes the MapViewer Javascript API functionality and handles all JSF related event, partial page refresh, component communication, synchronization, and other infrastructure services. The following JDeveloper screenshot shows the DVT GeoMap drag-and-drop component listed in the Component Palette menu and the Create Geographic Map dialog that appears at design time.Figure 9: JDeveloper 11g “Create Geographic Map” dialog and component menuA step-by-step tutorial, “Charting with ADF Data Visualization Components - Graphs, Gauge, Maps, Pivot Table and Gantt”, is available on OTN at/cd/E18941_01/tutorials/toc.htm.Examples of Using Specific FeaturesThis section briefly describes how specific features such as the Javascript API and methods to support external data sources may be used in applications. A companion document (“Using MapViewer Interfaces for External Data Sources”) provides technical details (i.e. the specificmethods and sample code) and is also available from the MapViewer page on Oracle TechnologyNetwork (/technetwork/middleware/mapviewer/overview/index.html).1112JavaScript APIThe Oracle Maps tutorial is part of the MapViewer quickstart kit on OTN (the mvdemo samples application) and contains over 50 examples demonstrating the API. The API enables location services application such as the one shown below. It is a screenshot of a demo applicationaccessible at http:/host:port/mvdemo/jslib/v2/demos/storm/storm.html, on deployment of the mvdemo samples application(i.e. mvdemo.ear file). The screenshot shows a thematic map of states based on the number of injuries due to hail in 1996. A customizable info-window pops up if the user clicks on a state.Figure 10: Demo application using the Javascript APICustom Map Tile ProviderMapViewer renders geospatial content, such as street networks or satellite imagery, stored in an Oracle Database. Sometimes users may prefer to render only application-specific content, such as customer or business partner locations, on background maps or imagery obtained from anexternal source. An example of this is high-resolution imagery from DigitalGlobe’s online serviceas shown in Figure 11.Figure 11: DigitalGlobe high-resolution imagery as background map13GeoRSS (and web services) SupportMapViewer supports GeoRSS () and the OpenGeospatial Consortitium’s (OGC) Web Feature Server (WFS 1.0) and Web MapServer (WMS 1.3) standards. This allows users to subscribe to a GeoRSS feed and display the locations and associated content on a map. In the example below, the map includes geotagged content such as photos from Flickr, restaurant reviews from Yelp, or Wikipedia articles related to an area around a postal code.Figure 12: Geotagged content including GeoRSS FeedsExternal Attribute (non-spatial) Data ProviderOften the data to be displayed on a map does not contain geographic coordinates and may not even be stored in an Oracle Database. This data can still be displayed on a map, however, if there is some means of linking or joining it to geospatial data via a common attribute such as a place name, identifier, or street address. MapViewer provides an interface for this purpose. It is commonly used with applications based on the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition platform or JDeveloper where the data source is not necessarily an Oracle Database. It is particularly useful for BI applications when used in conjunction with the JavaScript APIs of both (OBIEE, MapViewer) products. The presentation, “Map Views in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g”, andaccompanying workbook, “Building Map-Based Dashboards” (available on OTN) discuss thefunctionality and technical details. The workbook contains a step-by-step guide for common14usage scenarios: (i) displaying thematic maps in reports, (ii) adding charts to a thematic map, (iii) invoking a detail report for a location or region selected on the map (known as master-detail linking in OBIEE), and (iv) using Action Links in thematic maps (i.e. performing an action such navigating to a different dashboard page or a detail report). The following screenshot shows a map view. The OBIEE Answers platform is mashing up project information, stored in spreadsheets, with a sales territory map based on the sales region name.Figure 13: Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g with MapViewerThe same external attribute, or non-spatial, data provider interface has been used to mashupcontent from non-Oracle data sources such as Access Database, or reports published as XMLdocuments, with Oracle Spatial and Graph data and rendered with MapViewer.15ConclusionMapViewer provides web application developers a versatile means to integrate and visualize business data with maps. It uses the basic capability included with Oracle Database(either Oracle Spatial and Graph or Locator) to manage geographic mapping data. It hides the complexity of spatial data queries and the cartographic rendering process from application developers. They can easily integrate MapViewer into their applications. This creates enormous potential for understanding and capturing the geographic component(s) of any business, by unlocking the enterprise information in many corporate warehouses and making it available to basic mapping applications.16White Paper TitleApril 2013Author: Jayant SharmaContributing Authors: Carol Palmer, LJ Qian, Charles MurrayOracle CorporationWorld Headquarters500 Oracle ParkwayRedwood Shores, CA 94065U.S.A.Worldwide Inquiries:Phone: +1.650.506.7000Fax: +1.650.506.7200 Copyright © 2013, Oracle and/or its affiliates.
