Doctor Manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually , Lucie is beautiful and gentle ,Charles is graceful and noble,Lorry is upright and honest ,Sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm, unconventional but also selfleand lofty,MiProis straightforward and loyal,Evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister......The complexhatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds, loves rebirth in the hell edge, but take the life as the price. As an outstanding writer,in Dickens's work, the language skill is kind of rhetoric technique, like the analogy, the exaggeration, the contrast, the humorous, and the taunt are handled skillfully, and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak."A tale of two cities" has its difference with the general historical novel, its character and the main plot are all the broad real background of the French Revolution, the author take the fictional character Doctor Manette's experience as the main clue, interweaves the unjust charge, upholstery and so many techniques, causes the structure integrity and strictness, the plot winding anxious and rich of theatrical nature,it displayed the remarkable artistic style "A tale of two cities" is solemnity and melancholy, fills indignantion, but lacks the humor of the early works. 【2】It took me a week to reada book encouraging morale, called "the old man and the sea". I greatly admire, San Diego, the old man, if you read the story below, maybe you would like me to admire him.Cuba, San Diego, the old man has nothing for eighty-four days, eighty-five days, with blessing and bait is stubbornly sailing out to sea again, he will go to deep to catch a big fish. This time, he met a pair of feet was eighteen feet long and is greater than he, he told the big silver fish (marlin) filled with admiration and respect, at the same time, the more aroused the determination to San Diego to challenge it. Big fish and the old man silently confrontation, sometimes take the ship to the deep sea, alternately circling boats, and want to use set off waves of the boat upset... Old man and big fish fight for two days and two nights, in the process, he constantly and fish, birds and sea dialogue, constant to or when they remember past events. With indomitable willpower and strong faith, he finally held up, conquered the behemoth. Unexpected is that the old man is going to pull the marlin back, large Numbers of sharks areattracted to over eat bundle of marlin on the boat. Although exhausted, San Diego, the old man go to great lengths to fight with sharks, but still being in that big fish shark bite only a empty frame. In the end, the San Diego old man dragged the vast empty skeleton back to the shore.Old man of the spirit and idea of on their own, the lampholder support, he finally defeated the big fish, also defeated failure, defeated himself. We also should have this spirit in learning, such as difficulties in math, you should learn more, do not easily give up. 【3】The novel is rich in poetry, symbolism and metaphor. It does not fit easily into a definite pattern, being neither a novel of "manners" in the tradition of Austen, or a straightforward Gothic Romance in the style of Mrs Radcliffe. What Charlotte Bronte did was to create a work which cleverly blends elements of the two styles, and which remains uniquely independent of them at the same time, since it addresses issues which were at the time rather controversial. The novel is written in the first person, and thusmagnifies the central character - the reader enters the world of Jane Eyre and is transported through her experiences at first hand. This at once makes the work subjective, especially since we know that Charlottes Brontes own life and experiences were so closely interwoven with the heroine's. As well as this we learn only at the end of the novel that the events are being related to us ten years after the reconciliation with Rochester - thus the narrative is RETROSPECTIVE (looking back). CB is clever in blending the narrative so that at times Jane seems to be speaking as an adult with adult hindsight , while at others she she is "in the middle" of them, as a child or young woman. The indecision which is a central issue in the book, is heightened by this device. We never know, as readers, whether to be entirely trustful of Janes actions and thoughts, because we are never sure wheher she is speaking impulsively or maturely. This intensifies the readers dilemma as to what is "right" and "wrong" in the dramatic relationships which are part of JE's life. Can we believe what the heroine says, or is she deceiving herself? The novel isprimarily a love story and a "romance" where wishes come true but only after trials and suffering. The supernatural has its place, as do dreams, portents and prophesies. The heroine begins poor and lonely and ends up rich and loved; the orphan finds a good family to replace the wicked one; all the basic ingredients of classic romantic fairytale are present. The romantic element is present in two forms in Jane Eyre; the "family" aspect is dealt with in the Gateshead, Lowood and Moor House episodes, which involve the exchanging of the wicked Reed family for the benevolent Rivers one; and the Love romance is dealt with in the Thornfield and Ferndean episodes. Both aspects are, of course linked and interwoven throughout the novel. There is also a strong element of realism in the novel, which, married to the romantic aspect, enhances the novel's sense of place is very strong; we are able to experience both exterior and interior settings with startling clarity throughout the story, in a series of vivid deive passages. The central characters are also realistic and their confrontations and sufferingschange them in a believable way.Even the unlikely is made plausible, with a unique blend of high drama and perceptive low comedy (the attack on Mason, for instance)The more fantastic romantic aspects; the coincidences; the secrets; the supernatural occurrences, are balanced by the realism, and this is of course a major strength. The Gothic influence cannot be ignored, although CB has refined the technique considerably from the "authentic" Gothic of the 1790's. In the original genre, the heroine would typically be abducted and threatened with seduction, or worse!. There would be a lover - a respectable, well-bred young man - who would endeavor to rescue the heroine and would succeed after many trial. the seducer would be a brigand "Know that I adore Corsairs!" and he would lock the girl up in a remote castle. There was little freedom for middle class women during the period of the Gothic novel, and this was still the case in the time of CB. Marriage especiallywas often a bargain, whereby fortunes were secured by using the female as a pawn. A woman's value largely depended therefore on her sexual purity and she was guarded and secured as a result. Men, on the contrary, were potent and free; lovers and mistresses were common. Ironically the women who provided their services were social outcasts as a result. In Jane Eyre we see elements of the Gothic romance, in that Thornfield Hall and Rochester are described very much in the brigand/castle style BUT Jane Eyre is not abducted by R. On the contrary she chooses to go there of her own free will. AND she is clear in her determination to have Rochester as a husband. Neither is there a gentleman rescuer; St John Rivers may look like a Greek God, but he is neither kind nor benevolent; driving Jane back to Ferndean, not rescuing her from it.The trials which the hero is supposed to undergo in a Gothic romance are in fact undergone by the heroine in Jane Eyre. The bandit Rochester is only skin-deep. Underneath the brooding exterior is a sensitive soul, which a WOMAN frees. In this way we see that CB created rather a daring departure from conventional fiction, although there are still many aspects of the novel which remain true to Victorian convention.。

Recently, I read a book named Walden. It took me some time to read through it. Most important, I learnt a lot from the beautiful language and the life attitude of the author, Thoreau. This is a book which tells in spring, Thoreau started building a cabin in the woods, thinking about life, reading some books, and listening to the sound of nature. In autumn, he planted beans, observed Walden Pond. In winter, the Walden Pond was frozen, and lots of animals accompanied with him. As spring's coming, the Walden and other ponds melted. Then everything in nature was awake and reborn including Thoreau.Thoreau first wrote that most people pursuit their necessary things of life such as fashionable clothes, houses and equipment. They pursuit these things while Thoreau went to the woods to build a cabin which only cost $28.12, eating simple food and needing little furniture. I still remember one of chapters in his book, Higher Law, emphasized more on the spiritual aspect, instead of the satisfaction of material. Besides, he urged people to read more classic literature. For example, Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey and other great writers’ masterpiece s.More over, he wrote that though he lived alone in the woods, he was closeto nature and made himself as a part of nature. He lived alone, but sometimes he also talked with his visitors who are honest, sincere, and thinkable, including those people who love their lives.Thoreau also mentioned that the noise in the town and the whistle of train disturbed the quite life of the town. However, in the woods, life is quite. When he lived in the woods, he listened to animals' sounds such as bird's singing, owl’s hooting, cockerel’s crowing and so on. He lived with animals friendly. He also described the Walden Pond. The water, blue and green, clear and pure, froze in winter and melted in spring. When I was reading Walden, I felt that a kind of profound thinking of life hid behind the beautiful words of Thoreau, providing much food for thought. The words and phrases about the nature especially the Walden Pond were beautiful and fascinating. The sentences were full of wisdom and philosophy. When reading this book, it reminded me of those people who work day and night to earn money, wasted a lot of money to buy luxury and expensive things, wasted much time to entertain themselves. For my part, they might easily lose themselves. Though their materials were full, their minds are hungry. As far as I am concerned, the real life is to make every complicated thing to be simpleand enrich our thoughts and soul. General speaking, simplicity can make our soul and bodies more comfortable and free. Material is just the skin; inside world is the most significant. As for me, many people who around me think I should buy some beautiful clothes and dress up. However, I think my life is good. One more thing I want to say is that people did not understand him when Thoreau lived alone in the woods, even Emerson thought what he did was wrong. But I think Thoreau’s life was successful, meaningful and happy, so do I. The life attitude of Thoreau really grips me deeply. Because I think that the success and happiness of life all come from exactly value. Everyone deeply desires of themselves life. When you know what the value of yourself is, meanwhile you can enjoy your life according to the value every time. You will find that everyday you have full of energy and enthusiasm to do anything, hear the sure sound from your heart, and often feel intense achievement. The most important is that your heart is peace and calm. You are happy ever day.In the last place, I envy Thoreau so much for he lived in such a beautiful and comfortable nature environment. He breathed the fresh air, lived with wild with animals friendly; appreciated the scenery of Walden Pond and so on. While in modern society, people pursuit their own interests to hunt and kill animals, cut down trees and pollute the rivers and so on. As a result, the number of wildlife is decreasing dramatically, the area of lakes is shrinking, and the water is not pure any more. The environmental problems such as globe warming, climate change and air and water pollution have been becoming increasingly serious. When itcomes to environment problems, I will remind of the beautiful scenery Thoreau described in the book. And the book can raise awareness of people of environmental protection. In a word, I really do learn o lot from the readable and valuable book., the life attitude of Thoreau and deep thinking of environmental protection. Maybe I cannot understand Thoreau's thoughts completely, but I think the book, Walden, is a fairly good book to read. I hope you can read through it and I am sure you can learn something from it.。

Books are something that promote the development of mankind, therefore, the more books you have read, the better. Recently, I have read a book named Passion Flowers in Winter, which impresses me greatly. The leading character of this book is Mary Delany, who born in 1700. Being a remarried woman, Mrs. Delany began her life's work at the age of seventy-three, which for nearly all women or even men, is an age that means retirement and a leisure life time. I wonder how could she possess such a great enthusiasm towards life, even though at seventy-three, which set her apart from the ordinary. Also, besides her passion, her patience is, beyond question, very impressing. It was Mrs. Delany who invented the precursor of what we call collage. To make a collage, one need to drench the front of white laid paper with India ink, waited for it to dry, and then began to paste hundreds into the thousands — of the tiniest slices of brightly colored paper onto the background. It is really a complex work that requires great patience. The author looks forward to searching for a role model, and Mary Delany is the best choice.Mrs. Delany was born Miss Mary Granville, in the beginning of eighteen century. She was the first daughter of Colonel Bernard Granville, who was the second son of his family. And because of her uncle, who was busily consolidating his political power, Mary got to know a sixty-year-old drunken squire, who fascinated her. But one day later, the uncle informed her that he had found an ideal suitor for her, one who could provide a large house and an income. In an effort to help support her family, Mary said yes to Pendarves. However, things did not go well because actually, the man was so badly poor and their living condition was so dark, dank, and gloomy that Mary heard a heavy door clang shut on her life. The author’s mother, graduating early from high school, lived with her parents at the age of sixteen and led a comfortable life. To support her family better,Mrs. Peacock packed her car to head for a new life in California. However, because of invasion, she canceled her plan and got a assembly-line job at Bell Aircraft, where she was given a chance to meet her husband, the nephew of her boss.Mary took care of her husband, Alexander Pendarves, who suffered from gout and died in 1726. After his death, the young Mary traveled to Dublin, where she met Dr. Patrick Delany, a man she would marry soon after. Their sweet marriage lasted for twenty-five years, allowing Mary time and space to enjoy her life. However, by contrast, the author’s mother divorced at forty-five and got a job as a secretary in a hospital. And the author, the same as Mrs. Delany, remarried the man who had been the boy she had dated in high school and led a happy life. After Patrick Delany’s death, Mary began the work of her life— collages. Maybe her education of the art of cutting silhouettes in Mademoiselle Puelle’s school has been preparing her since she was a little child. But for the author, the eye-hand coordination required to make these silhouettes defeats her before she even start to imagine the steps.Mrs. Peacock possessed a silhouette of the author, which did by the author’s teacher in the early 1950s, who moves the author because she cared so much for details. Mary Delany was also such a careful woman that it is as if she delved into the details of her happiness and the collages, in fact, became her next life. And the end of the twenty-year lockup of her marriage, Mrs. Peacock had the Great Throw Out. She called both of her daughters and asked for their suggestions. After that, Mrs. Peacock began a new life, which she seemed to fill out her own outline, to embody her silhouette. She cared for all her family until each of them died and went on working and after they were all gone, she pitched drawerfuls of paper goods. Despite of her throwing out, the author did not think that she was moving on, because throwing out only closed a door against the past. When the author visited the mansion where Mary Delany once lived, she found a matter of class between them as well as a substantial difference in their wealth. Mrs. Denaly was related to royalty, to kings and queens, and her living circumstance was so pretty. By contrast, the author’s branch of the family were farmers and small-business people on her mother’s side, truck drivers and factory workers on her father’s and she lived in a house with no foundation, just a dirt crawl space underneath.Mrs. Delany had no children and survived her mourning after the death of her husband by diving down through the ocean of everyday life to an ocean floor of meditative, repetitive making. She took her exercise and walked for miles, which, by contrast with Mrs. Peacock, whose motto was People never change, was a positive attitude towards life. Fortunately, despite her motto, Mrs. P. did change. There’s hope. An imagination activated a vision of a future life. The author herself was sick of the loneliness of leaving her working-class family, although it was filled with depression and alcoholism, a family was always a family, no one could change the fact. Mrs. Peacock encouraged her daughter to make her own life, and the author liked to be doing things, creating things, going places, which was led by Mary Delany, her role model long past adolescence.。

Title: Thoughts on Reading Books
Reading is an essential part of our lives. It's not just an action, but a way of thinking, a way of living. In today's fast-paced society, people are easily distracted by various forms of entertainment, and reading seems to be losing its appeal. However, as a book lover, I firmly believe in the power of reading and the impact it has on our lives.
First of all, reading broadens our horizons and enriches our knowledge. Every book is a window to a new world, offering us the opportunity to explore different cultures, perspectives, and ideas. When we immerse ourselves in a book, we not only learn new information, but we also develop a deeper understanding of the world around us. For example, when I read "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, I was exposed to the harsh realities of racia, which expanded my empathy and encouraged me to advocate for social equality.

(Tasting of reading in English)often read western novels, and of course it has already been translated into chinese. i didn’t think there were a lot differences between english novels and chinese novels. but during this winter holiday i read some novels in english and i found them very interesting. why did not i find that before? as i did not want to spend a lot time in studying----- i always thought reading in english is a kind of studying ----- when i want to read some novels from england i would prefer to read the ones translated into chinese. as we all know, translating can never be perfect, it would bring some mistakes and the translator’s own feelings. so when i read a novel in english, i found it was terrific and i could clearly know the difference between the two writing skills.as to most of the english novels, they prefer to tell the result first. even in some paragraphs that describe the scene, they would use the skill. this situation would never be met in reading chinese novels. we chinese like to make attractive plot: after the readers have been brought into the story the writer would say “if you want to know what will happen in the end read the next chapter please.”whe n we read the novels in english, we would be tired of the scene describing. there is a great number of scene describing in english novels. they use this skill to make the readers know how the characters feel at the moment. they prefer to describe the situation using special grammar and combined words. it does not go with the language usage and it is difficult for translators to translate it into chinese without losing the feelings which the writer wanted us to know. for example, in the book “jane eyre” ther e were a great many situations tellinghow jane felt at time. it can be felt easily when we read the book in english but it was terrible when we read the chinese edition. it was not only long but also can tell nothing to us about the character’s feeling. t hat was because of the different language customs. the translators can only translate the words and they cannot translate the special grammar and the combination of the sentences. for example, there is an english sentence “i hear the laughter, i taste the tear”. when we read the sentence we could have a strong feeling about what the writer wanted to tell us but none of us could translate it into chinese without losing the feeling.this time when i read novels in english i found it was not so terrible to read the long describing. the novels did not change but i did. and i find no matter how clear i knew the novels when i read it in chinese the next time when i read english it will be a different feeling.one language is different from another. the result of this is that we have so beautiful a world.。

Reading is an essential part of our lives. It not only broadens our knowledge but also helps us to developcritical thinking and analytical skills. Recently, I read a book that left a deep impression on me. It is called "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. The book tells the story of a shepherd boy named Santiago who follows his dreams and embarks on a journey to find a treasure. Along the way, he meets a series of people who teach him about the importance of following one's heart and listening to the signs of the universe. Through his experiences, Santiago learns that the true treasure is not the material wealth he seeks but the knowledge and wisdom he gains on his journey. What struck me the most about this book was its message of following one's dreams and pursuing one's passions. In today's society, we are often pressured to conform to societal norms and expectations. We are told to pursuecareers that are deemed "practical" or "lucrative" rather than those that truly speak to our hearts. As a result, many of us feel unfulfilled and unhappy in our careers."The Alchemist" teaches us that it is never too late to follow our dreams and that the universe will conspire to help us achieve them if we have the courage to pursue them. It also reminds us that the journey is just as important as the destination. Along the way, we may encounter setbacks and obstacles, but these experiences are necessary for our growth and development.Another aspect of the book that resonated with me was its emphasis on the power of positivity and the law of attraction. Santiago's positive attitude and unwavering faith in his dreams attract positive energy and help him to overcome challenges. This is a valuable lesson for all of us, as it reminds us that our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality. In conclusion, "The Alchemist" is a thought-provoking and inspiring book that encourages us to follow our dreamsand listen to our hearts. Its message of positivity, perseverance, and self-discovery is one that resonates with readers of all ages and backgrounds. I highly recommendthis book to anyone who is looking for inspiration and guidance on their journey through life.。

The Benefits of Extensive Reading in English。

In today's fast-paced world, the importance of reading cannot be overstated. Reading not only enhances our knowledge and understanding but also enriches our vocabulary and improves our language skills. Among various reading approaches, extensive reading in English has gained significant attention for its numerous benefits. In this essay, we will explore the advantages of extensive reading and its impact on language acquisition and personal development.First and foremost, extensive reading exposes individuals to a wide range of vocabulary and grammatical structures. Unlike intensive reading, which focuses on dissecting and analyzing texts in detail, extensive reading encourages readers to engage with texts in a more relaxed and enjoyable manner. By immersing themselves in diverse reading materials such as novels, newspapers, magazines, and online articles, readers naturally encounter new words and expressions in context, thereby expanding their lexical repertoire. Moreover, through repeated exposure to grammatical patterns and sentence structures, readers develop a subconscious understanding of English syntax, leading to improved fluency and comprehension.Furthermore, extensive reading fosters a deeper understanding of cultural nuances and societal issues. Literature, in particular, serves as a window to different cultures, allowing readers to explore unfamiliar customs, traditions, and perspectives. Whether it's through classic novels like "Pride and Prejudice" or contemporary workslike "The Kite Runner," readers gain insights into the complexities of human experiences across various settings and time periods. This cultural awareness not only broadens one's worldview but also promotes empathy and tolerance towards others. Moreover, extensive reading enhances critical thinking and analytical skills. As readers navigate through complex narratives and arguments, they learn to evaluate evidence, identify underlying themes, and draw connections between ideas. This cognitive engagement stimulates intellectual curiosity and encourages readers to question assumptions, challenge perspectives, and form their own opinions. Whether it's analyzing the motives of characters in a mystery novel or evaluating the credibility of sources in a news article, readers develop a sharper analytical mindset that is invaluable in both academic and professional contexts.Additionally, extensive reading promotes language fluency and proficiency. By reading extensively, learners are exposed to authentic language use in various contexts, including informal conversations, formal speeches, and academic papers. This exposure not only improves reading comprehension but also enhances listening, speaking, and writing skills. Through frequent encounters with idiomatic expressions, collocations, and phrasal verbs, readers develop a natural intuition for the language, enabling them to communicate more effectively and confidently in real-life situations. Moreover, extensive reading has been shown to boost overall language proficiency and academic performance. Research suggests that students who engage in regular extensive reading activities tend to outperform their peers in vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, and writing proficiency. By making reading a regular habit, learners develop the stamina and discipline needed to tackle academic texts and standardized tests with ease. Furthermore, the enjoyment derived from reading for pleasure motivates learners to seek out new challenges and pursue lifelong learning opportunities. In conclusion, extensive reading in English offers a multitude of benefits for language learners and enthusiasts alike. From expanding vocabulary and cultural awareness to fostering critical thinking and language fluency, the advantages of extensive reading are undeniable. By embracing this approach and making reading a regular part of their routine, individuals can unlock new opportunities for personal growth, academic success, and intercultural communication.---。

When reading is not for fame and fortune, not for self boasting and increasing conversation, books will bring incomparable happiness to peaceful readers. In the morning, I went to turn off the alarm clock in the hazy sleep. My fingertips touched the thick pile of books beside my pillow and stroked the red prints pressed out by them at night. I felt a strong sense of happiness in my heart. The feeling of fullness is enough to give yourself a good mood for the day.Every time I borrow a good book, I feel happy and full of expectation. I prefer new books, especially those plain covers without floating light. The elegant background color, just a few good embellishments, is fresh and natural, like a famous watercolor landscape painting, and like the violet dew in front of the window in the morning. The title of the book is short and silent with the author's name. In the faint fragrance, there is a friend to be met.In a night without any burden, a song "starry sky", a cup of tea, put in the most comfortable position, gently open the book in the soft light of the desk lamp, touch the page with your fingertips, let the words flow through your mind, your fingers across the spine of the book, and people stretch in the book. If the author of a book is not just making and selling, then the reader is not just buying and using; If the author confides with true feelings, the reader is a lucky audience. The relationship between readers and authors is the most equal in the world. There will be neither bottom-to-top servility nor religious madness and enthusiasm. The author writes words in good faith. If readers really understand the author, they will become confidants - reading is more like a conversation, attracted only because of the charm of the soul. Because of this simplicity and sincerity, as long as you hold a good book in a small space, you will have a beautiful state of mind.Whether it's reading the massiness of history or the lightness of life, the suffering of life or the perception of nature, a poem or a story, when your sight meets the text, it's a kind of fate. Because of sincerity, there is no so-called profound and shallow, wisdom and stupidity. As Daiyu said, "I'm for my heart." Reading is also for your heart. Put aside the secular hypocrisy, life is full and happy. When sitting idle, I always fantasize about the feeling of sitting in the bookstore. Use my paintbrush to describe the happy future: a beautiful outdoor peach garden, Wutong flies, and the ground is golden. All people who love books can read and drink tea here, talk about books and the world inside and outside books. Therefore, books make people have dreams in their hearts; Therefore, there is love in the world.2. Every night when I was a child, my mother would tell me many interesting stories. Listening, I unknowingly entered the sweet dream box.Listening to my mother's wonderful stories, I began to know that there were so many wonderful stories in the original book! Since then, I have loved reading. With the growth of my age, I am more and more interested in books. As long as I can read or understand them, I can read them: novels can let me know the truth of being a man; Fairy tales make me feel beautiful and ugly, true and false. The contents of the book attract me. The book is not only good-looking, but also many great principles: if three people go,there must be my teacher. Choose the good and follow it, and change the bad. If I find a good book, I will read it or see my eyes astringent. I remember once: I was reading a book I like to read, but my mother downstairs said that I was going to eat, I didn't hear it and continued to read. In this way, my mother called me 2 or 3 times in a row, and finally came up and forced me to go down. Recently, I was fascinated by books like Charles IX. the mysterious plots and horror stories in them deeply fascinated me.Vampires in vampire cemetery, they have no heartbeat, no pulse, no breathing, no body temperature, and never die. They are neither gods, nor demons, nor people. They can delay life with blood. God gave them up, and black is also their guardian. For thousands of years, people have heard that they are vampires. Wandering in the night, looking for the dead of life.Novels can let me know the truth of being a man; Fairy tales make me feel beautiful and ugly, true and false. A good book can benefit people all their life. Don't act quickly and read!3. Reading is a kind of edification, a kind of enjoyment, and understanding is the pleasure of spiritual purification. In the vast universe of life, we should not treat ourselves with honor or disgrace, regardless of success or failure. Not keen to pursue fame and wealth and make yourself extraordinary. You will look up at the sky, clear the blue sky, long white clouds, release your depression, deal with reality and laugh at life. In the days when material desires are rampant, tasting the teachings of the ancients on "contentment is always happy" and "people are self-improvement without seeking quality" will inject general sobering agent and live happily. When I feel full of complaints because of little gain from hard work, the book will tell me to laugh at life. At this time, I will be full of passion for work; When I encounter difficulties and want to beat back the drum hall, the indomitable Madame Curie will float in front of me and inspire me to summon up the courage to continue to work hard; When I complain that I'm good for nothing, "I'm born to be useful", this famous saying will warn me, "360 lines make a champion"; When I am satisfied, "the capacity of a glass of water" will remind me that a seemingly full glass of water can hold more than 100 paper clips, and I still have a lot of energy to tap; When I am content with the status quo and do not want to make progress, Qu Yuan's "long road, I will seek up and down" will ring in my earsI have experienced "beating heart" in previous books; In the past, there was a kind of "inexplicable moving" in the book; I used to examine myself in the book, and I used to see all kinds of life in the book... I just want my emotions to be peaceful and quiet with the book, and my soul to be pure and detached with the book. Reading is not a pastime, but to improve one's knowledge. I think it would be better to read with a purpose. Think about what you lack and understand what you lack. There may be less self in others, so more tolerance and more understanding!。
