教学设计
一、指导思想与理论依据
《中小学英语课程标准》指出:英语教学中应体现交际性,要结合学生的年龄特点和生活实际,创设交际情景,通过大量的语言实践,使学生获得综合运用英语和语言技能进行交际的能力。

针对初中英语新教材容量大的特点,为了使教学面向全体学生,依据Go for It!教材的课程理念,采用高效课堂教学模式与小组合作学习方式,充分发挥学生的创造性与积极性。

二、教材分析:
Unit9以“音乐和电影”为话题,以表达喜好为交际功能,重点在这些语境中学习和运用由that, who和which引导的定语从句。

3a-3c提供了一篇关于电影喜好的文章,以3a阅读和3b、3c阅读理解的形式展开训练,是对整个SectionA 的巩固加深。

3a要求学生从文中找出不同的电影类型及提及的电影名称,这部分很简单,学生跟读即可发现答案;3b主要引导学生关注文中的细节,其中第一题会给学生造成困扰,需点拨;3c则是让学生根据短文信息,结合自己的实际回答问题,填写表格,这部分可以灵活处理为展示内容。

三、学情分析:
初三的学生英语能力相差比较悬殊,部分学生存在不自信,羞于表现等思想顾虑,但又希望能得到他人的肯定。

因此在教学活动中尽量让这部分学生参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,减少他们的恐惧感;有一些学习困难生由于基础薄弱,缺少丰富的语言基础,对某些任务的完成有一定的难度,采取小组合作的办法,通过学生间的合作学习,促进小组成员之间的互帮互学,鼓励小组中的优秀成员主动帮助学习困难生,培养学生的团队意识。

提高他们综合运用语言的能力,让他们都能体验到成功的喜悦,使各层次的学生都有所收获。

四、教学方法:
本节阅读课,我采取传统课堂的导入与高校课堂任务展示相结合的方式,力求争将两种课堂教学模式的精华有效结合,尝试一下英语学科课改的新思路。

五、教学目标
知识目标:通过理解文章大意,学习并了解电影的类型及名称。

能力目标:能够运用定语从句及like/love/prefer三个动词表达对电影的喜好。

情感目标:在学习、交流的过程中,体会电影艺术给人们生活带来的乐趣,激发学生对艺术的热爱。

六、重点、难点
重点:引导学生掌握本文的词汇和语法(定语从句)。

难点:在帮助学生掌握基本语言结构的基础上,能够运用定语从句及自如表达对电影的喜好,培养学生实际应用语言的能力。

七、教学流程及设计说明
1.课前3分钟---打预铃前播放电影剪辑让学生切实感受电影给人们生活带改变的客观事实,激发学生想进一步了解、讨论电影的兴趣,同时引出本课主题---谈论自己对各种电影的喜好。

设计说明:使用视频导入直观、生动,能吸引学生的注意力,有助于激发他们的学习兴趣和畅谈的欲望。

在学生回答之前我先谈了我的喜好(用定语从句),为的是降低难度,更为学生的回答做一个方向的导引,学生在我的示范引领下,大胆回答,畅谈喜欢的原因,甚至在我的导引下说出电影的种类,我进而提出另一个预设的Brainstorm说出你所知道的电影类型,学生们能把常见的几种电影类型说出,我又及时补充学生知道但不会说以及他们不知道的几种电影类型。

2.多种方式学单词---采用听写、与partner交流、竞赛三种方式学习生词。

设计说明:为了让学生们学习单词不被动,我设置了听写、与partner交流、竞赛三个小环节,(生词一般我们在整个单元学习前设录音带领读或课代表领读的方式学习)。

这一节课生词较多也比较生僻(大部分不是由学过的单词派生的),所以必须解决,否则学生对这节课只能一知半解。

听写为的是让学生自己了解自己会哪些,不会哪些,然后与partner交流不会的,最后以竞赛方式激励学生主动记忆。

3.预设问题来帮助学生快速理解阅读材料的大意---新课前的障碍解决了,接着进行阅读的引领,学习一篇带题目的阅读,我习惯由标题引入,理解了标题相信对文章的主旨自然清楚,所以第一遍跟读课文我设置:What does the title mean in this passage? 课文标题What do you feel like watching?的汉译---今天你想看什么?顾名思义!学生跟读后明白意思但不会用英语回答,我只好给学生搭梯子---Does the writer only stick to one kind of movie? 学生根据文章第一句都会回答:No!进而我引导学生们,so the writer wants to tell us we can watch TV…大部分学生一下明白该如何回答,所以几乎异口同声:depending on how I feel today.同时我也给出另一种回答方式:Yes, according to your feeling.主题明确了,接下来就是结构与脉络了,于是我放手学生自读课文。

设计说明:从标题入手让学生带着疑问有目的的进行阅读,这是阅读的基本。

4.自主学习---学生再次自读课文,找出文章提及的电影种类,相关电影名字,及有关这类电影信息和作者的感受,为了便于学生找寻信息,我设置了一个表格,学生们按图索骥,问题由难变简,因为每一段就是围绕这四个问题展开的,结构自然在寻找中逐渐清晰明了。

这时学生已然对文章大致了解,接下来就是细节了,我就完全交给了学生。

设计说明:以图表填空的方式,让学生在回答问题的同时理清文章脉络,一举两得。

5.小组活动---首先由组长带领组员翻译划出重点词汇、短语,接着小组长到前边抽展示单元任务分别进行准,最后展示、评价。

展示单元一:带读、翻译课文。

展示单元二:板书、讲解知识点。

展示单元五:演绎3c
设计说明:这是这节课的关键和亮点,让学生自主探究、合作、展示、评价一直是高效课堂主张的模式,我也在积极努力的探索,当然我们的学生毕竟不同于铜都、杜郎口的学生,实施高效课堂不能全盘照搬。

所以高效课堂实施以来我一直致力于传统课堂与高效课堂的结合,经过一段时间的摸索我终于有了一点自己的想法,感觉还不错,就是课前15分钟由我主导,包括口语练习、检查预习与新课引入,然后各小组抢任务准备10分钟,最后学生展示20分钟、与此同时进行小组互评的课堂模式。

6.升华和扩展所学知识---我打算用美国导演乔治的一句名言“Dream began in the script ,and end in the movie.”(梦想始于剧本,终结于电影)结束这节课,并会呼吁学生:“Now, you are dreaming about your script, one day you will make a movie for yourself---A wonderful movie (你们正在梦想着你自己的剧本,有一天你们一定会为你们自己拍一部电影---一部精彩的电影”)。

设计说明:我觉得学习语言知识本身很重要,借着所学内容给学生进行思想上的教育与升华同样重要。

八:教学反思
本节课的优点:
1.在教学过程中,努力贯彻以学生为主体的教学新理念,注意调动学生的学习积极性和主动参与的热情,设计的活动符合学生的年龄特点,鼓励和引导学生积极发言。

力求使各个活动环环相扣,以符合学生的思维特点和认知水平。

2. 创设了各种问题情境,吸引学生的注意力,营造宽松,愉悦的学习气氛。

巧用填表格形式回答问题,并在原有问题上设置作者感受如何的问题启发学生思考、讨论,并帮学生理清了文章线索脉络,有效地突破教学难点。

3. 师生、生生互动性强,活动形式多样化,有个人活动、同伴活动和小组活动。

对于学生完成任务的情况给予适当的反馈与评价。

改进之处:
1.因为用一个陌生的班级讲课对学生不了解,我设置的任务要求过于简单,所以学生把握不准,致使学生小组合作学习时不能很快进入状态。

2.由于不是很了解具体学情,设置的任务有点偏难。

3.小组展示时,发现学生速度慢,一开始有些着急,但及时放慢速度等待学生的自我感知。

可惜的是有两个小组没展示上,没关系只要他们有所参与,有所收获就是在达成高效课堂的目标。

在意犹未尽中结束了这节课,与我而言真的是一次历练,都说每次出课是一次思想的升华。

我有感而发:所有的付出、努力、甚至紧张、烦躁在讲完课时都显得那么渺小,而此刻内心是一种安然和新一波能量的涌动,我相信只要我们努力去寻找、大胆尝试,“放手”让学生去做,一定会找到最适合学生发展的学习方式,正所谓“授人以鱼不如授人以渔”。
