六、教学设计第5课时教学环节教学预设热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)1. Warm-up“并肩作战闯难关”游戏教师准备10张动词短语卡片,卡片上为动词原形。

学生2人为一组,请5组学生上台面对面站好,相对的两名学生成为共闯“难关”的伙伴。

教师出示一张卡片,第一位学生读出上面的短语,他(她)的伙伴如果能快速说出其过去时形式,两人即闯关成功。

游戏按次序进行,闯关失败者被淘汰,最后留在台上的为胜利者。

2. Revision请学生拿出上节课布置的调查表作业,简单介绍自己的同伴在过去的时间所做的事情。

呈现新课(Presentation)Read and write1. T: Do you know housekeeper? 教师边说边呈现单词housekeeper. 然后继续说What can they do? Who can tell me? 鼓励学生畅所欲言。

2. 语言技能:读懂投诉信表达的内容,能用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情,能运用恰当的时态进行仿写、改写、创写,并在读和写的过程中了解书信这一文本体裁的格式。

Step 4 Post-reading(1) Think and discuss:提出开放性的问题进行小组讨论:If you were the housekeeper, what will you do?【设计意图】设计开放性的问题,发散学生思维,培养学生解决问题的能力。

而小组讨论,给学生提供了更多的用语言交流表达自己想法的机会。

(2) Read and finish the letter:让学生阅读信件,先关注称呼落款,根据上下文写出所缺的句子,完成Mrs. Broom写给经理的信,进行情况反馈。

【设计意图】再次巩固信件的格式,为后面的创写做准备。

进行第二次文本重构——改写,即围绕主题根据上下文写句子,再次巩固课文内容和一般过去时。

(3)Think and write:以经理的名义写信给吴家,内容可以是介绍酒店打算采取的措施或改进后的情况。

【设计意图】让学生进行第三次文本重构——创写,即用信件的格式,根据目的围绕主题写一段话。

学生可以相应地采用不同的时态,综合运用所学的知识。
