Step 1 复习
Ask students what they used to like to do and what they used to hate to do
when they were children.
环节说明:简要询问学生小时候的喜恶,以进一步重现used to。
Step 2 情景导入
Ask the students how many people there are in their family,who they are,what they do,where they are,how they get along with their parents or their grandparents,if they caused trouble for his family and why.
环节说明:通过询问学生家庭情况导入新课,为学习Section B 2b作铺垫。
Step 3 完成教材2a-2f的任务
1.2a帮助学生根据题目He Studies Harder Than He Used to 猜测具体有哪些问题。
2.2b让学生浏览该文段,找出具体有哪些trouble。

3.2c让学生再读该文段,把本节四个句子放在文中正确的地方。

4.2d帮助学生猜测方框四个单词、词组的意义。

Step 1 重难点解析
1.To everyone's surprise, this conversation changed Li Wen's life.使大家感到吃惊的是,这次交流改变了李文的生活。
注意和单词surprise有关的表达。
to one's surprise使……感到吃惊的是。
如:
To my surprise,he got here at six in the morning.
使我感到吃惊的是,早上六点钟他就到这儿了。
in surprise 吃惊地。
如:
He asked me the question time after time in surprise.
他吃惊地一遍又一遍地问我那个问题。
surprising/surprised 令人吃惊的/使人感到吃惊的。
如:
I am very surprised to see him.
看到他我感到十分吃惊。
It is surprising to see him.
看到他令人惊讶。
2.and have tried to make my parents pay more attention to me.……尝试过使父母多注意我。
pay attention to注意……
该词组中to是介词,后面如果接动词要变成动名词。
如:
You must pay attention to writing the words correctly.你要注意首先把单词写对。
Pay attention to talk politely.注意说话要有礼貌。
3.He became less interested in studying.他对学习少了兴趣。
less,这里指little的比较级,表示“更小(少)的,较小(少)的”。
less but better 少而精
The noise became less and less.声响渐渐小起来了。
More haste,less speed.[谚]欲速则不达。
Life was a lot less convenient.一切远不如现在这般方便。
