Step ⅠLeading in
Method One:
T:Good morning,class!
Ss:Good morning,teacher!
How many health problems can you express in English?And what s your advice for them?
Method Two:
1.Check the homework.The students correct their sentences in groups.Then some good sentences should be presented to the class.
2.Review the phrases learned in Section A.
Step ⅡPractice
1a.Ask several students to read the short expressions and explain their meanings.
Correct their pronunciation and explain some phrases together.
After that,give students several minutes to do the exercise individually.
As they work,move around the room,checking their work and offering language support as needed.
Later,invite some students to present their answers.Encourage the students to write a short paragraph using the sentences for each picture.
1b.T:Have a quick look at the instruction and the sentences to know what to do in this activity.Then,I ll play the recording.You need to listen carefully and check the problems you hear.Do it ter,we will check the answers together.Clear?

Play the tape for students to listen and finish the task.
After they finish the work,invite several students to present their answers and correct mistakes if any.
1c.Give students two minutes to read the expressions and understand their meanings.
Invite several students to read them and explain their meanings,point out mistakes if any.
After that,play the recording again for students to listen.The students should listen carefully and write the letter of each treatment next to the problems they checked in the chart in 1b.
The teacher can play one more time for students to check the answers.
Finally,invite a student to present his or her answers.
Step ⅢRole-play
First,have students read the conversation between the nurse and the teacher in 1d and tell them“What happened?” is another way of saying “What s the matter?” Then,have them make up new conversations in pairs by using the information in 1b and 1c.The teacher walks around and gives them some help if they need.
Ask some pairs to role-play their conversations.Choose the best pair.
Step ⅣSummary
Ask one or two students to sum up what they learned in this class.Then the teacher adds.
Choose one of the problems or the accidents.First,write down your advice,and then make up a conversation.。
