Ludwig van Beethoven
1770.12.16—1827.03.26
Introduction
• A German composer, pianist, conductor. One representative of Vienna classical music. He has composed 9 Symphonies, the first number 35 Piano Sonatas , 10 Violin Sonatas, 16 first string quartet four, 1 operas, 2 masses, 1 cantatas and 3 Cantata, in addition to a large number of chamber music, songs and dances. These works have far-reaching influence on the development of music, thus being known as Le saint.
• The final years in the life of the restless bachelor (he changed living quarters no fewer than fiftytwo times) were darkened by severe illness and by the struggle over the guardianship of his nephew Karl, upon whom he poured his solicitude, jealousy, expectations and threats in an effort to shape the boy according to his wishes. When the most famous composer of the age died, about thirty thousand mourners and curious onlookers were present at the funeral procession on March 26, 1827.
• Around the year 1798 Beethoven noticed that he was suffering from a hearing disorder. He withdrew into increasing seclusion for the public and from his few friends and was eventually left completely deaf. By 1820 he was able to communicate with visitors and trusted friends only in writing, availing himself of "conversation notebooks".

• Music should strike fire from the heart of man,and bring tears from the eyes of woman. ----Ludwig Van Beethoven
Growth environment
• Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), the second-oldest child of the court musician and tenor singer Johann van Beethoven, was born in Bonn. Ludwig's father drilled him thoroughly with the ambition of showcasing him as a child prodigy. Ludwig gave his first public performance as a pianist when he was eight years old. At the age of eleven he received the necessary systematic training in piano performance and composition from Christian Gottlob Neefe, organist and court musician in Bonn. Employed as a musician in Bonn court orchestra since 1787, Beethoven was granted a paid leave of absence in the early part of 1787 to study in Vienna under Mozart. he was soon compelled to return to Bonn, however, and after his mother's death had to look after the family.
• Among them, the most unfortunate is deaf • His deafness disease occurred in 1798 summer -- eighteen nine two century years, Beethoven was immersed in music, and he paid no attention to their own health state . For this reason, the disease is more heavy. In 1801, he in theatre must sit in the first row of chairs, thus hearing the singer's singing sound. He said that in a letter to a friend's letter:" you dear Beethoven, completely is an unhappy man, and he has been in conflict with God and nature! I used to curse god. My love of all things has left me. He had no disease, which is what happiness! If as in the past to hearing, I really wanted to immediately ran to tell you. However,I can not get the joy! My youth has disappeared, the youth wish coming true, I having no way the art of mind, and I had to sorrow give up in my life……
• The following year, in 1802, his disease of ear is more heavy , often tinnitus. He is a nature lover, and walking in the field is his biggest comfort. At that time in the field, he don't recognize the flute sound, suddenly pessimistic, writing " last words" to send a friend. He finally is strong, however, with the attitude of refusing to be cowed or submit. He once said:" I have to control my destiny" with the deaf disease fighting. Since then life is all for the deaf disease . 1809, Napoleon's army invading Vienna, cannonball fly away in the air, and Beethoven probably shells voices to increase his ear, with two fingers tightly close their ears, filled with sadness and lying in bed. Deaf disease is Beethoven's one of life's great sorrow.
