事实上,对于UFO的研究,我们所有的人都本着一种客观的、开放式的科学态度。

北京UFO研究会的绝大多数人是各行业的学者和科学家,他们保持着学界中严谨的作风。

在还原UFO现象的过程中,我们运用一切可以运用的现代科学技术,以及各大门类的科学知识,对主述者所讲的话进行严格的筛查。

我们所记录到的东西,可以说是现代科技水平的反映,也就是在现有的科技水平下,我们做了最为客观的记录。

“外星人”是宣传上的一个语病
网上有部分人认为,在有关UFO现象的介绍中用“外星人”一词,实际上是肯定了外星人的存在,是不科学的。

我也承认,这是UFO研究者和爱好者在知识宣传上存在的语病,主要还是为叙述的方便,将主述者从未见过的“物种”简单地叫做“外星人”。

乱扣帽子、人身攻击有违科学精神
我个人认为,现代社会所具备的科学水平尚不足以解释U-FO现象。

目前对于UFO 的看法出现一些争议,我觉得我们暂时不应该对任何一种说法或意见———不管它是赞成的,还是反对的———关上大门,任何乱扣帽子甚至进行人身攻击的做法,皆有违科学精神。

相信未来总有一天,当人类具备充分的知识结构后再去做结论,而目前对它开展的研究,只是处于过程之中。

社会应给予理解和关注
听到不同的声音是一种新生事物所必须经历的自然规律,当爱因斯坦提出“相对论”的时候,世界上仅有四五个专家给予认可,但20年后还有谁说爱因斯坦是个“疯子”呢?
数学家陈景润先生曾是我们的顾问
对UFO的研究并不只是单纯的泛泛的研究,它的研究领域贯穿基础学科及应用学科,诸如数学、力学、物理学、化学、哲学、社会学、心理学、天文学、人类学、考古学、生物学、遗传学、医学宇宙结构、生命起源、地外文明及宇航学等,将会推动整个社会科学的进步。

著名的数学家陈景润先生也曾是我们的顾问,帮助我们计算过有关多维空间的方程式。

我们尊重调查和事实
对于UFO事件中疑似接触者,为了确定其陈述事件的真伪及其中更多的实情,国际上通用两种主要的技术手段———回归催眠术和心理测试(俗称测谎)。

回归催眠术主要是通过心理医师的语言诱导并辅助一些催眠器械如催眠棒等使被催眠者处于似睡非睡的状态下,把被抹去的记忆唤醒,清晰回忆。

在国际上由于在这方面的心理学研究较广泛,调查使用回归催眠术多一些;心理测试(俗称测谎)是公安司法部门用的一种辅助的间接的见证手段,极少的情况下用于民间。

而我们要做的工作就是,延续国际上通行的这两种技术调查手段,对UFO事件中疑似接触者进行间接的求证。

从而为UFO事件尤其是与“外星人”接触的UFO事件提供一定的依据和有助于研究工作的开展。

对于中国又一例与外星人接触事件———曹公事件,我们联合心理方面的专家和有关的司法部门对当事人曹公应用了这两项技术,还请唐山市公安刑侦队的中国北方著名的画像专家姚殿义为事件中被治疗的女孩画像,最终在河北的青龙县以画像为依据,找到了那个女孩,并得到了曹公确认。

无论是在国内还是国外,人群中看到UFO现象的为少数,有争议是很自然的。

除非是目击事件特别多,形成广大影响力的,如1999年12月十多家媒体报道当时出现的UFO 现象,还有2002年12月9日开始的五六天中多人多次目击发光体等。

北京UFO研究会
