教学设计
Unit 5 Reading: The Band That Wasn't ?
一、教材分析:
1. 教材所处的地位和作用:
本课是人教版《普通高中课程标准实验教科书·英语(必修)2》第五单元第二课
时Reading 部分。
中心话题是音乐。
本篇阅读讲述The Monkees乐队的故事,具体
介绍乐队的组建、发展、演奏特点和受欢迎程度,有助于学生了解更多音乐知识,
培养热爱生活、音乐的美好情感,领会乐队对音乐的不懈追求,培养认真做事的好
习惯。
获取更多知识,扩展词汇量;并通过课文内容学习和相关课堂交际活动,为
下一课时的学习做好铺垫。
2.教育教学目标:
根据上述教材分析,结合课程标准,考虑到学生已有的认知结构心理特征,制定如下
教学目标:

知识目标:(1)掌握和运用关键词汇、短语、有用的表达。
(2)阅读并理解文章大意,弄清门基乐队的发展过程。
能力目标:(1)培养学生阅读技能和获取、处理、运用信息反应及推理判断的能
力。
(2)培养学生探究、小组合作学习能力。
情感目标:(1)培养热爱音乐感情。
学习The Monkees乐队对音乐的执著.
3. 教学重点、难点:
本着课程标准,立足教材基础上,我确立了如下的教学重点、难点:
(1)重点:培养学生对细节理解的能力及归纳能力。
(2)难点:以小组合作的方式用英语进行交流讨论。
二、说教法
基于上面的教材分析,我根据自己对研究性学习“启发式”教学模式和新课程
改革的理论认识,结合学生实际,主要突出了几个方面:
(一)是创设问题情景,充分调动学生求知欲,并以此来激发学生的探究心理。
(二)是运用启发式教学方法,就是把教和学的各种方法综合起来统一组织运用于
教学过程,以求获得最佳效果。
(三)小组合作,让学生在探索学习知识的过程中,培养学生的探索能力和创造性
素质。
三、说学法
抓住学生特点,积极采用形象生动,形式多样的教学方法和学生广泛的积极主动参与的学习方式,定能激发学生兴趣,有效地培养学生能力,促进学生个性发展。
应全面系统的去讲述文章,克服学生学习本节课的知识障碍,知识学生不易理解,所以教学中深入浅出。
明确的学习目的,老师应在课堂上充分调动学生的学习积极性,激发来自学生主体的最有力的动力。
四、教学过程:

Do you like music ? Do you often sing songs in your spare time? Who want to sing a song for us?
(学生1上台演唱歌曲,借此倒入本课主题Music)
Step 3:Pre-reading(5 mins)
4.Brainstorming

(提问三个学生,然后列出音乐类型,并做简要介绍,然后领读)
2` Listen and guess:
Listen to some kinds of music and match them with the pictures.
(学生起来回答,并进行提问对该音乐类型的了解)
(2) Introduce some bands

(通过观看门基乐队视频,引出该乐队。
通过问题:Do you want to learn more about this band ? 倒入Reading部分)
