Unit8 The Spring Festival Part B【教材分析】课文主要分为三部分,第一部分作者告诉大家,要回家过年;第二部分,春节人们通常都有哪些习俗;第三部分,作者自己家的新年是怎么度过的。

通过本节课的学习使学生能够用英语描述春节的一些民俗,并且能够达到对其它节日用英语介绍,同时使学生更加热爱中国的传统文化。

【学情分析】本篇课文属于基础模块上册,所针对的教学对象是高一学生,学生层次参差不齐,所以我在处理这个问题上主要体现在师生互动和课堂作业方面,根据不同学生提问不同问题,因材施教,同时,课堂作业也分了必做和选做两个项目。

【教学目标】(1)知识目标:学习本篇课文,并能独立完成课堂练习。

(2)能力目标:灵活运用本堂课的重点句型,能够用英语介绍春节民俗并能简单描述一下其它节日。

(3)德育目标:通过学习本篇课文,学生更加热爱祖国的传统文化。

【教学重难点】(1)四个重点句型:①prepare for;②try to do;③sweep out;④hang up;(2)本堂课的教学难点为拓展提高部分的故事欣赏,学生能够理解其故事大意。

【教学策略】(1)本课采用了多种多样的教学方法以,主要包括:阅读法、启发法、讲授法和探究法。

(2)教学手段:多媒体课件、音频(mp3)和视频。

【教学过程】(1)复习与导入。

本堂课我首先复习了上节课所学的单词,如paper cut(剪纸), lantern(灯笼),couplet(对联),cracker(爆竹), reunion(团圆)和firework(焰火)等,这些单词都是和春节相关的,课堂开始之前复习这些单词也会提高学生学习新课的效果。

接下了,我播放了一段配乐视频,喜庆的音乐配合着一段春节民俗的视频。

学生观看完视频后,用英语来描述春节这个传统节日,这就把刚才复习的单词全都用上了,再一次的使学生对这些单词加深了印象,同时达到对这些单词的灵活运用,此外,也锻炼了学生的英语口语。

3.教师出示watch TV的图片,教学词组watch TV和watch the Spring Festival Party on TV,并板书。

5.文化渗透:“压岁钱”可翻译成New Year’s money,lucky money或 gift money。

春节拜年时,长辈会将事先准备好的压岁钱分给晚辈,据说压岁钱可以压住邪祟,因为“岁”与“祟”谐音。

晚辈得到压岁钱就可以平平安安度过一岁。

请两位学生到台上用充气棒槌抢拍所听到的词组。

教师随机抽取词组卡片,请全班学生读词组,台上的两位学生则用充气棒槌迅速拍向所听到的图片。

教师要奖励获胜的学生所在的小组。

(二)句型教学
1.师生对话。

教师用At the Spring Festival,do you get any presents? Do you go to the fair? Do you watch TV?等句子进行询问,请学生根据实际,用Yes,I do.或No.进行回答。

2.板书Do you...? Yes,I do.句型。

3.教师出示图片,请学生根据出示的图片,用Do you...? Yes,we do./No.句型进行同桌之间的问答练习。

4.游戏——猜一猜。

游戏规则:请一个学生根据教师出示的图片或卡片做动作,其他同学用Do you...? 句型来猜他在做什么。
